39 Training Part 1

The outside world, from what I can see so far, was quite…. Boring…. Dirt roads, grass, weeds, rocks, trees, and the occasional mushroom monster that bobbed up and down in the taller sections of grass. Pretty much all things I have seen in my previous lives, well, except the mushroom monster but it too was pretty boring as it would run away when it saw people. They were considered monsters, but they were a kind of monsters that never attacked anyone unless cornered.

"It will take us a day to get to the eastern woods if we walk. Do you want to fly us there?" My mother asked. I looked off into the distance to see the tree line quite a ways away.

"Sure," I replied with a nod as I transformed into my demon form and flapped my wings. I slipped my arms around my mother up under her armpits and flew up into the sky. Pixal sat on my head as I flew off towards the tree line.
