Chapter 51: End of the Banquet

Jiang Yan's cheek stung from the force of the slap. Jiang Yixuan stood in front of her, her expression was cold and unforgiving. Jiang Yan could see the anger in her eyes. Already unsettled by Tian Jun's behaviour towards her, Jiang Yan was caught off guard by her sister's sudden attack. Usually, Jiang Yan was not someone who would allow herself to be slapped by anyone, let alone by Jiang Yixuan so easily.

"What's wrong with you?" Jiang Yan snapped, her voice barely above a whisper.

"You know exactly what's wrong," Jiang Yixuan shouted. "You're always causing trouble and embarrassing me. I can't believe you had the nerve to come to my banquet, especially after Mom warned you not to."
