Xuan Juan Yu's Importance

Xiao Hui took her time to process what happened and straightened her back while a sweet smile played on her lips.

'Hubby said, I should try being an actress.', she clapped her hands twice and jumped on her feet thrice while her lips' arc turned to a wide grin.

After expressing her excitement, she wondered if she ever mentioned her dream of becoming an actress to anyone? If she remembers correctly even her parents didn't know about this dream of hers. She never thought of actually being an actress as she's an heir to the Li Empire but there was always a calling towards acting in her heart. She wanted to discuss this with Bo Jing but he never gave her so much time to discuss about her likes and dislikes. It was always about him and his preferences.

"YA Xiao Hui, I am com", before the voice from outside could complete the sentence, everything paused. Xiao Hui turned to look at the door, but the door waiting to be opened, didn't open. She looked around her bedroom and noticed that the windows' curtains are still in air weirdly.

She stopped looking around and calmly said, "come out".

A shadow came from behind the pillar and there stood an elegant, long white haired but baby like person. The person folded his hand and leaned on the pillar.

"Do you have to be so dramatic?", questioned Xiao Hui.

"Obviously I don't want to waste my powers just to have a little chit-chat with you. But as the situation demanded that we have a talk, so it is unnecessary to wait till your ceremony ends. If by chance you died before even getting married. It would be my waste of time then."

"Old man, can you please trust me a little. I got this, I won't make the same mistakes again. Can you please let me get married. I am excited this time around, you know.

But, wait, what did you say?

Why will I be dying? I just got the chance of rebirth.

Something clicked in Xiao Hui's mind and she said, "I think I felt how Juan Yu was feeling in those moments. Is this a side effect of rebirth? Or did you give me any superpower?"

"I already told you that I won't be helping you with anything else. I have already reversed time for you", replied the baby like man with a pout.

"It was my younger brother who was being meddlesome and gave you the power to feel Juan Yu's emotions."

"Thats great", Xiao Hui clapped her hand after hearing that she got superpowers.

"Where is your brother? I want to thank him personally.", Xiao Hui searched around the room to look for another diety.

"Have you been even listening to me? I said you will die, remember?", The immortal pinned the balloon of Xiao Hui's excitement.

Xiao Hui finally realized and calmed her excitement and fear down and stared at the man to continue listening to him patiently.

The immortal being finally saw that she's listening and started to tell her his fears about the superpower, "I wasn't going to tell you about it, but since you can feel Juan Yu's emotions, you'll find about it sooner or later. So its better to be prepared for whats coming and understand how big of an opportunity this is for you and how big of a role you play."

She just nodded at his words cordially, so he continued,

"First understand that you can feel Juan Yu's emotions, but the good part is, he doesn't have any emotions normally. So you will feel natural. But when it comes to his people, you'll feel the fluctuations in his emotions that might be light, moderate or heavy depending on the situation.

You'll be able to tell and feel exactly what he's feeling."

"I figured this much myself, whats on the other side of the coin?", she asked curiously. 'What could be life threatening about this?'

"The problem is you. You could die because of yourself.", answered the immortal being after listening to her thoughts.

"Me?", Xiao Hui pointed her index finger at her face while feeling unbelievable. She would never put herself in the danger again. She won't do anything silly that can result in her dying again.

"Yes, you, because you cause him heartache. When it comes to you, Juan Yu's feelings are heightened and he feels all sorts of emotions. But mostly its heartache, sometimes its because of you and sometimes its for you.", replied the man.

Xiao Hui was about to ask something but the immortal stopped him and continued, "No need to interrupt, I am telling you.

Heartache is normal for every human being as every human goes through it atleast once in a life. But

Xuan Juan Yu is not any average man. I am not going to tell you what you shouldn't know. When the time is right, you will get to know everything anyways.

But for now, just understand that Juan Yu is a special existence for Earth. His well being matters the most. If not, you would not been given this chance."

The immortal ignored Xiao Hui's widened eyes which looks like it will fell out of its socket and continued,

"While it has many perks of being a special existence, it has the flip side as well. His heart weakened when he fell in love with you. Now whenever he suffers heartache, the pain is something a normal human can't handle. But because of his greater role, he has his own innate abilities which is why he can handle that pain. But, for any other normal person like YOU, can't even think of handling this level of pain. You will die in seconds because of the pain you will be feeling in your heart."

Her heart fell after listening to this. Her legs got weak and she sat on the floor weakly.

"This is still not the worst part.", continued the man with worry evident in his tone.

Xiao Hui looked at him blankly, 'She'll die because of the heartache she cause to Xuan Juan Yu and its still not the worst part? Are you kidding me?' Anger started to brew in her heart.

"The worst part comes after you died. Did you think how will Xuan Juan Yu take your death? His heartache and grief will drown everything in this world. And this is what I am most afraid of.

The immortal choked on his own words and shut his mouth so that he doesn't let anything else slip his mouth.
