7 Chapter 7 ( Different world, Different species)
The warm water temperature provided me with comfort as I gradually pushed forward with composure.
Followed along where the water led and swam about with the constant zig-zag of my body.
I wandered my gaze around the area as I was moving.
There all around this place, the towering submerged plants fluttered their lengthy bodies in unison, resulting in the ever-moving current.
I also noticed numerous small fishes lingering about in the small gaps of the huge plant's palace.
Truth to be told.
I was expecting to see a huge fish like that one time I had watched in my past life.
It was my father who captured it with his superb fishing abilities.
I had always remembered the sight of my father holding it within his arm.
The fish was almost 2 meters long... but till this day I never know what species of fish it was.
All I know was that... it was enormous.
Enormous enough to swallow me whole if it were to be given a chance.
With my current length, I'm pretty sure I would be classified as a monster.
A monster that still yearned for a place to call home. A home that doesn't relate to others as my goal had always been different.

Minutes after... I slowly descended to the bottom for a short look.
I had always wondered what it look like down here.
Is it the black ground, is it sand, or could it be just a bottomless abyss?.
the ocean had always been the biggest mystery in my past life... as for the river would be the second one.
Each year back in my past life there would be a discovery of ancient fossils.
Unveiling the past while the present kept on moving forward...
I approached the bottom of the river with vigilance for I do not wish to get stormed out of the blue.
Being cautious would be the best in this situation rather than being oblivious.
Naivety kills good people... though I'm not a good person anymore.
I'm a snake.
Monsters exist... and I had been holding onto these words strongly back when I was in high school.
It was a very odd club... telling people that monsters or other life forms should exist outside or inside of our planet.
I joined it since it was rather interesting.
Interesting enough to veered my gaze from those hateful words.

As I descended slowly...
*Slurshhhh!!*
Suddenly,
Gigantic ripples of noises could be heard moving about behind me with tremendous momentum.
The water swirled around the space as the commotion caused by such a large movement immediately attracted my attention.
With haste, I hastily prompted my muscles to tighten.
I rapidly spun my head to the source of the sound just to glimpse a huge mouth filled with teeth... wide open... galloping its way toward me aggressively.
Seeing this...
A sense of urgency heightened inside my heart as I eventually discerned the whole view of this gradually enlarging figure from afar.
A huge fish 2 Meters in length and especially those huge bulky teeth that appeared to be extremely dangerous.
Recklessly approaching me as if I'm just one of the other normal prey.
"This?? what's up with those steel-like teeth??!"
I yelled in alarm... glancing toward those metal-like teeth that were seemingly capable of tearing houses apart.
*Swoosh!*
The rippling sound came from afar a second ago and now it was closing by at such an alarming rate.
When the fish finally entered within 7 meters away from me.
I rapidly blasted my tail down with great force.
Reached towards its head as I spun my body around following the movement of my tail.
Adding in with the effect of my skill.
I have the most confidence to destroy this huge fish.
If not heavily injuring it would be enough.
But to my shock...
*Slammed!*
*boom*
A muffled noise could be heard trembling underwater.
The tail that I slammed was tanked by the fish!.
Taking my tail attack with its head on! just so you know this attack of mine had been enhanced with my skills.
Surely it should have done more than that... but reality betrayed my expectations.
It didn't even force it back by an inch.
Seeing this.
A bad premonition instantly emerged inside my heart as my eyes widened in shock.
This fish is unreal! ...
After the fish took my tail with its body head-on.
It quickly backed away supposedly to possess intelligence??!!.
What kind of world is this?!. So far the creature that I had killed before never exhibited any type of self intelligence.
"I need to win this quick!."
Having said that...
I rapidly speeded up towards the fish with powerful acceleration.
The fish is also not to be outshined by seeing my move.
It also shot ahead like a bullet in my direction.
The water rampaged with rage as the surface of the water above splashed intensely.
The water current and the kinetic energy that was produced by our huge activity forged huge water waves on the river's surface.
A calm river from before now had been turned into a small tsunami.
Numerous smaller creature was frightened by this sudden battle between the two rivers King.
Out of instinct... these creatures immediately fled the area.
Knowing that staying there would only result in their unfortunate death.
As this was occurring all around the river.
The two behemoths finally collided!.
*BOOMED!*
Their body conflicted against each other and creating a huge underwater eruption.
The enormous forces generated by the collision shaped a massive water splash directly on the water surface above.
"This guy is not normal! It had been quite some time already but my poison still hasn't taken effect on him"
*Boom!* *Splashes!*
The fish quickly slammed its huge tail to my long body but in return, I swung my massive tail to parry it.
*BOOM!*
Seeing that his attack was guarded by my tail.
He immediately opened his mouth and chomped on my face hastily.
His mouth was too close for me to avoid in time.
The only choice left was for me to direct its attack onto my body.
*Chomped!*
"Arghh! that hurts you, bastard!"
The fish mouth struggled to chomp into my flesh as I wailed in pain.
A huge rage instantly took over my mind as I fastened the fish body under my long physique.
Wrapping him tight as my muscles squeezed him with force!.
While this was happening, the fish still kept on holding onto grinding my flesh as its teeth had already been inserted deeply inside.
An even more severe pain flooded my body.
This with no qualm infuriated me even further.
"Arghh damn you!"
I tightened my muscles even more!.
Finally, the fish revealed a pained look on his scaly face.
The pressure from my skills finally took effect!.
*Cracks* *cracks* *cracks*
The fish wriggled its body in agony as I crushed his bone with rage.
Bloods splattered about all around the water as my body slowly crushed his flesh into meat paste.
"Die!! you damn bastard!"
After a couple of minutes of trashing around finally, the fish stopped moving.
"Ding congratulations to the host for gaining 5000 evolution points"
"Finally!"
I slowly unwrapped my long injured body as I panted heavily to breathe.
The immense pain from my wound still lingered around... as my face twitched in pain trying to hold it down.
"This fish is not normal! my defenses should be strong enough! and yet his teeth managed to pierce through??!!."
" damn it! it hurts so bad. This guy torned a huge chunk of flesh from my body..."
"For now I should go to the island to rest... and find some way to quickly heal my injuries"
