Because a worker at the construction site needed to tell the security room first, and a security guard then called the company, then a worker in the company reported this bad news to the management. After all that, I was finally able to hear about it.

The ambulance arrived earlier than me and the others. A doctor checked the injured worker for a short time, then took him to the hospital. This is why I didn't know anything about the accident until now.

I ordered the construction director to investigate this accident at the site, and he went straight to the hospital. They arrived at the hospital and needed to register first.

The manager of H Real Estate hadn't arrived yet, so I had to handle everything in the hospital. Hotch arrived soon after. His secretary went to take care of the injured construction worker, and he went to have a discussion with me.

"Boss, how did you know that there was going to be an accident at the construction site?"

I asked with curiosity.

"I knew nothing, at all about all these precaution it was my supervisor who told me to go around these arrangements. He said that Hongdy Real estate was going to try something and that I should be vigilant.

Before long, the examination report of the injured worker was out. One of his ribs were broken, his internal organs were slightly damaged, and his right leg was broken too. Fortunately, his injuries weren't severe, and his life was saved. After that, he had to have surgery and stay in the hospital for a few days.

I was in my office reading a project I received when my phone rings. It was a call from Hotch.

"It's like you predicted. They have already done something. There was an accident and it seems to me that the guy is not happy to be alive."

I took a while and then replied.

"Continue with what we have planned."

Without waiting for his response, I hung up and then continued to read the file.

When I finish with the call, I told my secretary to arrange a common separate ward for the injured worker.

There were common separate wards and VIP separate wards, but even a normal separate ward was much better than a ward shared by many patients.

I then made a round in the separate ward. I set a bug at the bedside and a hidden camera under the TV before I left.

I was wearing Bluetooth earphones since I left the hospital. The earphones were connected to the bug in the separate ward, but until now, I hadn't heard anything useful yet.

The injured construction worker was called Lei Ma. His family came to visit me and got the compensation from H Real Estate.

That such a terrible accident had happened at the construction site scared some of the workers, but the company promised to find out the real reason and keep them safe, so they quickly calmed down.

He immediately checked the caller's number. The number was from City S.

The next day, the news spread quickly. It wasn't actually a serious accident, but some people deliberately made up rumors and it suddenly became big news. It didn't matter if it was true or not, people gradually started to believe it.

The rumors greatly affected H construction site and reputation. Some real estate companies who had competed for this land also gloated over H Real Estate bad luck. However, they all knew that it was just a common accident, which was the reason why every real estate company paid a lot for insurance.

It depended on the company to handle it well.

Insiders were all aware that it couldn't be a simple accident because it spread very quickly and became big news within a short time, but nobody knew who was behind it.

At the construction site, many workers argued for higher compensation and salary or they would quit the job. Hotch went to allay their anxiety in person, and raised the compensation, but some still wanted to leave.
