The Guards were to announce the return of the Alpha King, but Jayden gestured to them to halt before they could go on.
He entered the castle with unconscious Darcia in his arms. Everyone just stared at him, but said nothing because they wouldn't dare him.
He made his way to his grand bedroom, and then placed Darcia to lay on his bed. His index finger pressed on her forehead that was still hot, burning down with fever.
The servants came rushing in upon hearing Jayden's commanding voice. They attend to Darcia on Jayden's watch. He didn't care and stayed in the room watching her as she was being treated.
