Chapter 9

May don't have a good expression in Erica, and it makes worse when she heard what Rachel said about her. "Erica is a good dancer. She started dancing when she was young. She just stops after... that..." Rachel explained to them. "When she was young? How young two years old or three years old?"

Erica heard everything May saying, she was planning to reject what Rachel saying about joining the program. But after what she heard, she changes her mind. "Okay, I will join the program!" She looks at May and then at Rachel, she gives her a smile, and then she walks out of their way.

"Then wait for me after class, we can practice together!" Rachel said with a shy look at her face. "No need, I have things to do this afternoon, just let me know where the place is and I will go there on my own." She replied, and then she went back to her seat.

Rachel looked at Erica with a curious look, she feels like Erica change a lot since the accident happens, Erica had never treated her like this before. Before everything, she said Erica will obey without a question. Maybe Lloyd told her something, in exchange for coming back to school. <Forget it, the important thing is that I will defeat her in the end.> Rachel thought.

She was accepted in the Li Group, so she would be the next Li Group director soon. Erica is just her toy to play with her hand. If Llyod didn't exist she had already won everything. And Erica will never have anything. The teacher excused himself and called Erica and give her the new textbook. Then Erica began to listen to the class.

Erica is good at everything, she loves studying. However, when Madam Li become her Stepmother everything change, she never tries to teach her anything like a normal mother do. So she ends up getting bad in everything after that. She was the favorite of her teacher from elementary to junior high school. But When Madam Li sees that she was doing good in academics and in her hobby. Madam Li makes sure she fails in her studies and stops her from dancing. She thought it was for the best, that is why she followed what Madam Li wants.

No one knows that she inherited her mother's photographic memory, which passes in their family member, like her Great grandfather. She reads books that fast at she can and she never forgets what she reads. She even remembers the whole math book that she read the single lesson. But now she was having a problem with English, so the teacher said that she needs to take note of what that she needs to learn. So that's what she did. After class, she signs of relief and getting ready to get home. She starts walking to the school gate. She remembers the teacher said that next week it will be their first exam. She was not worried about the exam next week, only on English. She doesn't know anything about English she needs to ask for someone's help on that subject.

When she reached the school gate, the butler was waiting for her. "Madam!"

"Butler Jo?" She was stunned, did she tell him that she will go home alone. She was going to her dormitory, that room will be shared by her and Rachel but now she thinks she will have the room by herself.

Coming to school and go home in the Villa is way too long of a journey, so she was going to stay in the dormitory. And she likes being lazy in bed once the study was over or when she can't think of anything. But she forgot to ask if she can stay in the dormitory, she thinks she needs to ask Llyod about it first.

"Master asked me to pick you up, he has something to do today." the butler said while opening the car door. While she was getting in the car she said, "Is that so?" When she was about to close the car door she heard Rachel's voice. "Butler Jo, please wait.!"

She looks at Rachel who was hurrying to walk to reach the car, she pretended not to see her and looked away. "Let's go Butler Jo, now!" She said. The butler was shocked for a moment before he steps on the gas, without hesitation. The car speeds off immediately. Rachel was stood not far away, <Did Butler Jo didn't hear her?>

<And when did Butler Jo come to pick up Erica, when did that happen, did Lloyd in the car too?> She bites her lower lip, thinking of things, if she followed Erica earlier she will be able to see the man of her dreams. Jealousy was shown in Rachel's eyes when she thinks of Erica once again.

"Do you know them? Who was it? May asked her, looking at the car that drove away. Even the Li family is rich, it was over the top using a car like that to pick up only the daughter of a mistress. Even her family doesn't have that kind of car.

Besides, if he was her to pick up Erica, why didn't they wait for Rachel. She was the daughter of the legal wife? Is she? May is now found everything quite weird. "I think I made a mistake." Rachel said to May. "Oh, okay!" May stare at her, while still thinking of things on her mind.

Lloyd reaches the Villa at night, when he entered the house he can hear the voice like a recorder. "It's blind, it's blind." "It's warm, It's warm." he looked at the maids that standing in the stairway with a strange look at their eyes. "Master!" Butler treated him when he saw his master, and reach him and get his coat.

"What did the madam did today?" He asks Butler the moment he gives the coat to him. "The madam was in the school the whole day when it's time to go home. She went to the Bookstore and bought a lot of books and tapes..." Butler said.

Lloyd nodding while listening to what the Butler saying. Then he went upstairs to look what Erica was doing. When he reaches Erica's room the door is closed, he can hear the tape played over and over. He reaches for the doorknob and slowly open it. He enters the room, but Erica didn't notice him getting inside the room. Erica was busy memorizing the words. "What are you doing?" Lloyd's eyebrow raised while asking her.
