Assassins

After fighting the beast for the day Ryan and Ruby had gone to a near by inn to stay before the next event that was supposed to happen, the winner of this tournament was supposed to be given 10 gold coins which were almost a fortune for the low level adventurers but that was not all as they were also given the right to have an audience with the king or ask for anything that the winner wanted, of course Ryan had entered this arena so that he could show the king that he was not someone to be pushed by others.

'Ryan i would advise you not to do anything foolish' Tigroran warned seriously,'even though that old king may not seem it he may be as strong as you or even stronger you had been blinded by anger each time you meet that is why you did not notice' Tigroran said allowing Ryan to dwell on the matter as Ryan lay down on the bed next to Ruby who was sleeping peacefully 'might have been a lot if stress fighting like that since it was her first match against a beast' Ryan thought as he then stood up and went near the window but he could then see some people dressed in black clothing as clothing like scarfs covered their mouths they were three all together.

They had swords in sheath which was hanged on their back they were on a rooftop as they seemed to be directly looking at his room window 'assassins? but who did they come looking for at this inn' Ryan thought as the only possible people they came to assassinate was probably him and Ruby and he could also guess who they were sent by.

Going out of his room he went down the inn but as the receptionist had intended to shout Ryan then looked at him with glowing red eye lens as the receptionist froze in place he had a shiver down his spine.

Ryan then ran out, now they were focusing their gaze at him as intense intent to kill 'hmm guessing from this killer intent i guess they have killed a lot of people' Ryan thought looking at the assassins on the rooftop, he then ran forward through the road as they seemed to be following him they had then stopped him on his way this was because most people were asleep now and would not be outside.

Looking at all of them round he then rushed forward at one slashing his dagger at the assassin but he seemed to be just as fast as he dogged it the others then slashed at him in Union he had a hard time dogging it but he still did it as none of the blades had touched him.

Moving swiftly to the first assassin he had targeted he tried slashing his dagger again like the first attempt bit failed again as he was forced to doge again,Ryan knew that this person he had first targeted was the strongest among them all that was why he had tried hard to defeat him first.

Ryan then leaped back finding some space he twisted his body past the two that were at his back, now they were all in front of him this time Ryan was serious as he used Mana to enhance his physical abilities trying what he did again he found out that he was more faster than before as he made a cut on one if the assassin's leg this had taken a great turn as he was no easily dealing with them but then one of them came forward as he then slashed at Ryan who moved his hand as twisted it fire balls then came forward at them as the assassin that he had caught used water element creating a large steam of smoke as the two other assassins had left 'he sacrificed himself for them although knowing that he would be killed later?' Ryan thought as he then removed the scarf covering the hair and mouth 'a girl!' Ryan thought.

Now currently Ryan was in his room as he was lucky that the receptionist had dosed off at the counter which made it possible for him to the the assassin inside now the next problem was if Ruby were to wake up and see this there was no telling what she would think.

Looking at the assassin in the eyes she was currently sitting on a chair "look i really do not like this at all if you tell me who sent you then i would let you go" Ryan whispered in her ear as she seemed to calm down when he removed the scarf that he had using to close her mouth she intends to scream but Ryan let's out a dangerous intent to kill which made her quiet down "forget the matter about you being a girl, you had decided to take my life and anyone who tries to take my life is my enemy" Ryan whispered angrily in her ear which made her quiet down.

Looking at the assassin well she had a green coloured hair had a beautiful face and a curvy body but Ryan was not in the mood to think about that although he had started seeing women as different as before, before he had seen them as nothing special but now it was the exact opposite of before.

Calming down Ryan then looked at her in his normal tone "so are you willing or?...." Ryan asked looking at her, "why,why did you save me?, you should have just killed me or left me there i would be killed but you saved me why?" she asked as tear's had prepared to fall off her eyes "hmmm why you ask although you did try to take my life i saved you huh? i wonder why."

Looking at Ryan she did not know what to say this young man that she would have been two years older than was this carefree and strong,"ok look what's your name" Ryan asked as he sighed,"L-Lilly" she replied as tear's were falling off her eyes "i am Ryan and you are free to go tommorow depends on what you want to do just know they'll kill you or you can rather stay with us" Ryan said as he stood up heading at her "you look really pathetic you know that what happened to the assassin that tried to kill me" he said as he wiped a tear off her eyes 'woah that book really is helpful i thought it was going to be hard but it went well I guess I will read it tommorow' Ryan thought as he smiled in his mind 'That book...Ryan if any women see it you're in trouble' Tigroran warned 'i kept it safely no one will see it..' Ryan replied nervously.
