Chapter 27: Tragedy Avoided, You're late

After hiding for around 15 minutes in the ice room on the VIP floor, I smile upon hearing footsteps drawing nearer, thinking it could be Colton coming to help.

Unfortunately that smile was gone shortly after it appeared when a cringey voice echoed in the near distance, "Come out, come out wherever you are. We just want to make you feel good."

I look at Melody who has completely lost all of her strength and looks like a hot mess and I take in a deep breath before slowly pushing myself to stand up.

I will at the very least protect Melody, she has nothing to do with this and it is my fault that she is in this position.

As if understanding what I am about to do, she grabs my hand, but I just squeeze her hand in response and mouth to her that I am sorry.

I sigh internally, he didn't make it in time for me, but hopefully he can still help Melody before she completely loses it.

With that in mind I turn the walk out of the hidden room, every step makes my body ache and heat up more.

The two men hear me and turn to look at me.

"Oh. Look who it is, the little missy who kicked me, I wasn't sure if I would still be able to use it after that stunt, but seeing your state, I think you should help me test it out." he says with a greedy look as he grabs my arm painfully almost drawing out a gasp from me, but I bite my tongue to hold it in.

His friend forcefully grabs my chin and makes me look at him, "You may not feel like talking now, but we will have you screaming soon." He says with lust filled eyes as they drag me toward a room.

My eyes frost over as I think about how I can possibly get out of this.

My body is ready to give out.

Despite my situation I can't help but think how that little white lotus could afford a room on the VIP floor. Her family is barely qualified to even stay on the floor beneath the VIPs.

Bringing me out of my thoughts, I am shoved through a door and stumble over falling to the ground. At my attempt to catch myself, I land painfully on my wrist.

Meanwhile at the party, hearing of his sister's trouble from Colton, Hayden tactfully shut it down and went into overdrive investigating all security cameras and tracking down those involved in harming his baby sister.

At the same time, Colton, Luke and Braxton were making their way up to the top floor in search of Serenity and Melody.

Once the elevator hit the top floor, they split up, each one taking a different hallway, stealthily checking each room for signs of the girls.

After having checked the first few rooms down the hall with no luck, Colton was distressed. His little goddess called him when she was in trouble and he just hoped he could get to her before something bad happens.

When he recieved her call, the sound of her voice breathless and hearing her say she was drugged had him immediately itching to murder someone as he hastily gathered the guys to search and have Hayden investigate since he was the family of the host and could handle the party as well.

He also had his team check on the how her phone went dead when the service in this hotel could be considered top notch and to find who was in on this scheme and capture them.

As he was passing the ice room, he stopped in his tracks upon hearing a soft whimper.

He immediately turned around and went inside only to see a disheveled Melody in a questionable position on the floor.

Seeing who entered the room, Melody immediately gathered herself to try to speak out, "Help her, hurry, She tried to save me by giving herself to them. They, they took her. We were given aphrodisiacs, please save her." she said in between pants and tears as she continued to fight the heat in her body from taking over.

Hearing her words, he could see red as he pulled out his phone.

Thinking very briefly, he decided against calling Luke since he would freak out and go out and murder spree, so with that in mind he called Braxton and prayed he could control his urges to help the poor girl.

Braxton arrived a few moments later and Colton left immediately to go banging on doors, until he came to a frozen stop as he heard a terrified cry sound out behind the door he was about to bang on.

Hearing the familiar voice, he skipped the banging and with murder in his eyes, he kicked the door right open, almost kicking it off the hinges.

While all this was taking place, inside the room when Serenity fell to the floor, hurting her wrist, she bit her tongue so hard, she could taste the unique metallic flavor of blood in her mouth, making her want to spit, but she swallowed it.

"Oh look how clumsy you are, you must be dying for us right about now. Don't worry, we will take care of you nice and slow in a minute." one of the men said as he picked her up making her shiver in disgust at his touch.

He walked her toward the bed room and threw her on the bed.

Both men were now excited looking at her disheveled state as they climbed on the bed, one of them couldn't hold back and went to reach for her to pull her toward him.

As he reached for her, her adrenaline kicked in and she bit his arm drawing blood and kicked out.

Unfortunately she was too weak, her kick was caught by the one she didn't bite, "tsk, tsk, you sure are a violent one aren't you." He said waving his finger at her as he stroked her leg making her want to vomit.

The one who got bitten, just so happened to be the same one whose balls were left bruised by her earlier kick and in his anger he slapped her face so hard that the momentum cause her to rock sideways hitting her head on the night stand next to the bed when she fell.

The pain was so bad she couldn't resist crying out as her vision blurred from the harsh impact nearly sobering her from the overwhelming heat she was feeling throughout her body.

Hearing her cry, he grabbed her back up, ripping her dress in the front revealing her glowing smooth skin and her white lacey bra she had worn underneath her dress and forcefully held her chin to look at him as he spat out, "You bitch, you think your so good, that we don't deserve to touch you, fucking slut. I will make sure you can see with those cold eyes how this master has his way with you and then we will see how you fight back."

She glared back at him with a hundred different scenarios on how she would kill him if her body would just move the way she wanted it to, running through her mind.

Before he could act on his words, the door was loudly kicked open, irritating him further as he shouts, "Who dares interrupts this master??"

Colton busted into the room and ran to the bed room, kicking that door open as well.

What he saw nearly made his heart stop in anger as he saw his little goddess with her dress ripped having her face held roughly by one man and you could tell it wasn't gentle based on the pain showing on her face.

She was sweaty, probably from the drug and the side of her head was bleeding.

Seeing this, he couldn't hold back his rage ad he kicked the man holding Serenity hostage, causing him to fall on the floor.

Upon recognizing Colton, Serenity smiled in relief, but was mildly shocked at his violence as he continued to kick the man on the floor until he was hardly breathing and smiled coldly at the other man on the bed with me before grabbing him by the neck and flinging him at the wall like it was nothing.

He then made his way back to his little beauty, seeing her alluring state, he fought the urge to claim her as his right then and wrapped his jacket around her body and picked her up bridle style.

She wrapped her arms around his neck, "You're late." she said in a pant.

Being in his arms causes the heat to gather in her lower abdomen once more, and she bit her tongue to fight the whimper threatening to escape her lips.

"I am sorry baby girl." he says as he looks down at her pitiful state in his arms which melts his previous rage.

He makes a call to have this room taken care of, along with the men and walks out of the room and heads to another room that he had booked for tonight.

Seeing them behind closed doors, Serenity can't take it anymore as she gives into the heat, letting go of the last bit of sanity she was straining to hold onto and pulled his face down to hers and kissed his lips fiercely.

His touch makes her feel safe, its intense, but not like the disgust from the other guys.

Feeling her kiss, his eyes widen and he had to use all of his control to not take the little goddess to bed and make her his. He reminded himself that this is the drug, and sighed as he took her to the bathroom and puts her in the bathtub causing her to whimper dissappointedly at him.

"Trust me, I want you, but not like this, your still young and I want you to want it while your not under the influence baby girl." he says knowing she probably doesn't get it right now.

With that said, he turns the shower on and watches as the ice cold water lands on her body causing her to shriek cutely in surprise and shiver.

The feeling of the cold water felt so good on her skin as she soaked it up, not caring that Colton was watching her.

After being in the water for 30 minutes, the effects of the drug were basically gone and she just felt exhausted.

Colton helped her out to dry off before handing her a tshirt he had packed in the room and letting her change.

She came out of the bathroom a few minutes later looking adorably shy in his tshirt that was like a dress on her and said, "Thank you."

"You never need to thank me, I will always be there when you need me." He said as he pulled her to sit on his lap on the bed and grabbed the first aid kit he had prepared and started treating her wounds.

"Just the fact that you showed up tonight when I needed saving, I will never forget." she says after he finishes putting the last bandage on her head.

"If you call, I will always come for you. Always." he says making her look at him teary eyed as if she were finally going to cry from over exhaustion from everything that happened.

Hearing this made her heart melt as she looked at the sincerity on his face and wanted to cry.

In her past life she only had one relationship and he had never been one to say sweet things or even answer the phone when she called, he had always claimed to be too busy, but now she knows he was just with Arabella.

Shaking out of her dark thoughts, she feels Coltons well trained large hands wipe her tears as he kisses her forehead to soothe her.

She wraps her arms around his waist, "Can you just hold me a little longer, I don't think I can fall asleep alone tonight." She whispers into his chest breathing in his scent that seems to always calm her.

"Of course." He says smiling gently down at her as he fixes their position and leans against the headboard of the bed while caressing her hair, gently lolling her to sleep.
