Chapter 27 A Dangerous Game

Ahsoka awoke with a headache. Last thing she remembered was attacking a Seperatist outpost. As she was wondering where whe was a reptilian alien with motley green scales entered the room.

"The prey is finally awake." The alien said looking at Ahsoka with a predatory gaze."You will make a fine first prize for my son." The trandoshan hissed out in basic. "Now run little prey run, make my son's first hunt one to remember."

Before she could respond a trap door opened dropping her into the forest below. As she stood up from the fall she saw a variety of other species struggling to stand after being dropped from the ship into the forest. A shadow loomed overhead and she saw blasters being leveled. As she yelled out a warning they opened fire on the creatures cutting them down with ruthless efficiency.

Ahsoka barely made it into the cover of the forest, escaping the initial trap. As she ran she felt a burning in ther thigh, a blaster bolt had grazed her leg slowing her down. Looking for a place to hide she spotted a hollowed out log half buried in the ground. She squeezed herself in and took a look at the thigh.

For once she missed the cumbersome Jedi cloaks, her usual outfit barely had any extra cloth, she took one of her gloves off and used it as a pad, binding it in place with a vine. She then decided to rest till nightfall before moving again, settling into an uneasy nap.

Unknown to Ahsoka four pairs of eyes watched her from the undergrowth. A hooting growl sounding as the unknown observers slowly moved towards the exhausted and wounded padawan.

POV Gavin

Gavin was racking his brain, taken in the middle of a battle, no clues, the situation sounded familiar. Then it hit him "trandoshans." Lorana and Zani looked at him.

"What?" Lorana asked.

"A force vision trandoshans on a jungle world hunting Ahsoka." Gavin replied, choosing to blame his knowledge on force visions. He then asked SAM to initiate a holonet search for Trandoshans, hunting grounds and coming of age.

"Sir one moon meets this query. A coming of age ceremony is being held on the trandoshan moon of Wasskah." SAM reported. "ETA at max speed twelve hours."

"Do it SAM." Gavin's voice had an edge to it like nothing Lorana or Zani had heard from him before, a dangerous glint in his eye as he went to prepare a load out. "Meet me at the upstairs briefing room in one hour to discuss the plan." He then walked to the armory to begin preparing his gear.

POV Ahsoka

Ahsoka awoke with a start finding herself by a campfire, across from her sat three younglings. A human, a Twi'lek and a Cerean, she sat up quickly a pain shooting through her leg.

"Calm down before you hurt yourself more." The Human said in an annoyed tone.

"Be nice Kalifa she can help us." The Cerean said in a calmer tone.

"Maybe by buying us more time to escape." Kalifa muttered

A loud series of hoots and growls came from behind Ahsoka, turning she found a wookie obviously telling off the young girl.

"Chewbacca is right" the Twi'lek said. "My name is Jinx, this is O-Mer and Kalifa. We are from the temple, we had been sent on a trip but the older knight with us were killed and we were captured and brought here." Gesturing to the wookie he continued, "That is Chewbacca he has been helping us survive."

"I am Ahsoka Tano, I was fighting in the war with my Master when they kidnapped me." Ahsoka introduced herself.

The others explained to her how the Trandoshans had killed several padawans and they specifically targeted youngling and padawans, knowing that a full grown Jedi Knight or Master would prove too strong for them.

"They made a mistake." Ahsoka said, "My Master won't be the only one looking for me and as fearsome as he is my big brother is a lot scarier and isn't held back by any kind of laws. He will do anything to find me and when he does, well I doubt the Trandoshans will be ready for what's coming." She said this to bolster her own spirits knowing that between the two of them they would find her soon.

She some how knew they would find her, her job was to stay alive and keep these four alive till then.
