Chapter 1 - Reincarnation

"And that is w-" A bang was heard as the person who was just speaking was shot. He was, of course, dead as he had been shot in the temple. After 1.5 seconds, panic ensued. Some ran, some got down, some hid, but only a few ran to the person who had been shot.

There was actually no reason to panic since the shooter had already killed their intended target, but the people didn't know this. Anyway, let's focus on the person who was shot, our dear protagonist. He found himself in what he believed to be the void.

"So I died, that's disappointing. I had so many plans."

"Where am I? Am I in the void like those characters in novels, or am I in the womb?"

"Well, either way, I can spend this time thinking."

And so he did. He was there for what felt like an eternity, spending his time either playing chess against himself or pondering where he was headed. Would he receive wishes? Would he be stuck here for eternity? These were the questions that occupied his mind, until he felt something pushing him and saw a light.

He followed the push and was born. He tried to open his eyes, but it was a struggle. Even then, all he saw was pure white. Then he heard three women's voices and a crying baby.

"Let me hold my children," said a woman's voice, and he felt himself being handed to someone. "So I was reincarnated," he thought.

He was fed and he slowly fell asleep.
