"You are going on a date??" Kannon stared at Indigo who had her head in cloud nine.

"Grrr.." Kannon played with the straw in her drink while her entire face was painted into a sulk.

Eversince Indigo got with Hairi their time to bond as friends after school have been little to none at all!! She missed the old days where they even sleep together in the same bed after watching dramas.

"Don't be mad!! It's just Dakota being busy and gone but when she returns you won't be bored a bit...fufufu" Indigo laughed staring at Kannon teasingly.

"What do you mean?"

"You know...you'd be complaining not being able to get off the bed" Indigo laughed even louder catching the attention of some students.

"You-!!!" Kannon lowered her head embarrassingly after getting noticed by some students.

After being dropped by Indigo in the apartment building, Kannon immediately went to Dakota's apartment room. Seeing the all black theme of the room made her even more depressed being all alone.

Dropping her bag on the floor and walking around the apartment she imagined how Dakota would act coming home from work and all alone. There is some part on Kannon's heart that liked the apartment as it perfectly suited Dakota's whole persona but the thought of it made Kannon push it away.

"Slap!*"

Slapping both of her cheeks with her hands made her realize her 'impure' thoughts.

"What was I thinking? Me thinking of her..impossible! It's just the gloomy atmosphere that's all" seemingly convincing herself, Kannon went to the kitchen to prepare her dinner.

"Forget it!" she closed the fridge having no appetite to eat.

Passing by Dakota's room as she walked towards her own room. Kannon stood outside Dakota's room for a moment before proceeding to walk again.

"You have been eating like a pig these days! Yui what has gone into you?!" Mrs Kagami spoke infuriatingly towards her daughter.

Her hand resting on her forehead making her look very stressed and disappointed while Yui have been expecting this reaction from her mother all along.

"I am not eating like a pig, mom..I am eating a normal diet" Yui spoke in a stern manner while picking up her fork to eat a fruit. Talking back in such a calm manner while contradicting her mother was something Yui has never done nor imagined to do.

"Yui all those diet I designed for you and all those food preparations so you can stay slim has gone down the drain!!" Mrs Kagami continued to freak out in a very loud tone that is enough to make many servants their house to shudder in fright.

"I passed an application and I am now working under Dakota Kaede as her assistant. She is very strict with her employees' health and doesn't allow underweight people to work with her" Yui faced her mother while maintaining a stern eye contact.

Instead of getting angry Mrs Kagami saw this as an opportunity to get ties with the Kaede family. Rumors of Dakota Kaede has yet to die down and despite being still a teenager she is already accomplished in her work.

A young talented alpha with a polygamous family background. Her gaze suddenly shifted at Yui's pretty appearance and a hidden glint in her eyes.

"Well if that is so then we cannot do anything about it" Mrs Kagami finally calmed down as she suddenly caressed Yui's head.

Her action felt so strange that made Yui freaked out a bit not knowing her mother's change of attitude. For a family being affectionate and feeling strange to it speaks a lot on their relationship.

"Hic* hic* hic*" Yui went inside her room and cried as she slid down on the door.

Tears gently fell down on her beautiful face. On the outside she was seen as a perfect lady in her family but no one aside their family servants really knows her family's dark secrets.

At times like this Yui craved nothing more than someone's warmth.

"Dakota" her voice gently called out with her hand gripping on her phone.

"Not enough" crumpling the paper and tossing it aside Kannon held her head with both of her hands looking very stressed.

She just finished her homeworks and had to pull an all nighter just to work on her dress to for the school's runway show. Feeling that her designs are still lacking Kannon was in distress whether to work on a new one or pull on modifications, but the problem on modifications is that there is no guarantee that it will look good and making a new one will deduct points on her score for wasting fabrics.

Pondering for quite some time Kannon had already decided to make modifications on her dress. Sitting on her chair and working on her desk, though her eyes felt heavy her hands were still working on the fine details of the dress.

"Kannon"

Hearing a familiar voice Kannon opened her eyes and jumped on her seat. Realizing that she had fallen asleep amidst sewing the details, Kannon held her head feeling the pain due to stress.

[Tuesday...tuesday]

"Damn tuesday!!!"

"Are you alright?" Indigo raised her brow and looked at Kannon with a strange gaze. Realizing that she spoke her thoughts outloud Kannon lowered her head in embarrasment.

"By the way when is Dakota coming back?" Indigo added seeming concerned and curious about the two's relationship.

"She said until Sunday"

Hearing Kannon's low reply while lifelessly stabbing the lettuce on her plate. Indigo smirked cheekily having caught on something.

"So are you cursing that's its Tuesday because the major project is getting closer.....Or is it because Dakota will have to comeback in Sunday and its currently just Tuesday?"

"..." Hearing Indigo's teasing yet provoking words she glared at her friend.

"What's with that look? I was just teasing~" Indigo chuckled pinching Kannon's cheeks.

"Ms. Kagami what are you still doing here late at night" the receptionist spoke in a cold tone towards Yui.

Being known to be cold towards other people and colleagues, it was still unusual for Yui to encounter the receptionist even though she avoids her as much as possible due to the unlikely rumors about the receptionist.

"I just have to pick up some documents"

"You being a student and working at a huge company at the same time, and coming from a wealthy family with no experience but still manage to attain a high position...sounds very suspicious doesn't it?" the receptionist stared at Yui with her piercing gaze.

Her words caused Yui to flinch, feeling the other person's gaze as if it were daggers made Yui uncommfortable.

"Well at least you are competent" she added which made Yui felt very insulted. She wanted to speak back but considering the consequences made Yui shut her mouth not wanting to trouble Dakota.
