1 {Village Chief’s Anger}

"Neil! You brat get over here this instant! Otherwise, I'm going to paint those two piles of fat you call a butt blood red."

A small wooden plan that resembled a door was flung open from the ground next to a large wooden house. From inside a small head popped up which belonged to a red-haired boy. He resembled the man who seemed to be in his 40s.

Showing a confused expression he replied to the yells, "What is it, grandpa?"

The man looked at the young boy and his anger seemed to dissipate somewhat he clenched his teeth and pulled the young kid from underground.

"Do you think you are a worm or something? Where did you get the crazy idea of living underground?" He shook his head wildly after seeing that he had gotten off track. "Anyway, what's more important is something that I heard about. What's this thing about you beating up Nar's kid over a terrible terror?"

After being let go Neil sighed and scratched his head, "Well…..uh...to save….him."

"Save him?" the old man repeated as his brow began to rise, "Save who?"

The boy began stretching and patting the dirt from his body, "To save Moran of course the ido….dummy didn't notice he was surrounded by a horde of terrors that were ready to pounce. That's why I cut the dragon free and removed its muzzle. After saving he began trying to hit me without giving me a chance to explain."

As the old man listened a huge grin appeared on his face then he burst into laughter, "Is that so haha, I knew it must have been something like that. As expected of my grandchild, the future chief of Reioi HAHAHA!"

The child nodded and gave the man a thumbs up, "Well Grandpa, if there's nothing else then I'm going to keep expanding my house."

With that said the young child began to climb down the hole using the makeshift ladder he had made. "I swear this kid is going to be a handful when he grows up...." As he began leaving the man continued to mumble.

Inside the underground, a young child was smiling as he heard his grandpa. "When I grow up? Oh grandpa if only you knew….".The child's expression began showing sadness but he then shook his head and laid on the ground.

'To think that I've been here for 8 years now. I wonder what my parents are doing at the ranch back on earth. If I knew all this would happen because I watched the damn movie of How To Train Your Dragon I would have never watched it. The question is still how the hell I was sent here….I have to find a way to get back home.'

As was lost in thought he looked at the ceiling that was made out of fuzzy yak hide and makeshift wood studs. Together the two things held up the ground up above.

Neil was actually not a child at all, at least not technically. His real name was or used to be Lucas and he was a 16-year-old sophomore high school student, not an 8-year-old kid. After watching the movie How To Train Your Dragon late at night he suddenly woke to find himself a newborn baby.

At first, he didn't know exactly what was happening, he could tell that it was a Viking village but that was it. However, everything clicked into place when he experienced his first dragon attack. After knowing his situation Neil began his plan.

He was sure that if somehow he had been able to enter a world he would never dream of entering then there was a way to go back. Neil's plan included him traveling to Berk, a place he had no idea where it was, and his village had no idea it existed.

'I can't help but miss the internet, ah Google Maps. Why does one have to lose something to know their worth.'

From what he was told by his father at the age of 16 a Viking would be considered an adult. That gave him roughly another 6 years to learn the necessary things for survival as well as to make money so that he could travel and find a way home.

Whether his family would allow him was another matter. Since at the moment he was the only one in line to inherit the title of village chief after his father it might prove to be an issue. Especially when his family was such a stickler for tradition.

'Now that I have this space I'll be able to keep myself safe during those dragon attacks. While the movie the movie might show that dragons are nice and all that shit I'm not taking any risks. Especially when I have no control over these crazy people. Anyways having this 'bunker' also gives me my own private place where I can come up with ways to start making money without too much effort.'
