1 Chapter 1: Second chance.

In the midst of an infinite expanse of pure white nothingness stood a bewildered and disoriented man.

"Where the hell am I?!" I shouted, my voice echoing into the void as I gazed around in sheer astonishment.

"You mortals never fail to amuse me," a resounding voice echoed within my mind.

I scanned the featureless surroundings, attempting to locate the source of the voice but found no one.

"Where are you? Show yourself!" I screamed, panic coursing through me.

"I'm right behind you," a chilling sentence that sent shivers down my spine.

I strained to turn around and see the speaker, but my body had become as rigid as stone, immobilizing me.

"What's happening to me? What's this sensation? No, I know what I'm feeling; it's the last thing I remember before arriving in this place. This... this is fair," I muttered, observing my trembling legs.

"Easy there; nothing bad will befall you, though it depends on your luck," the being in front of me continued, its appearance resembling the Truth from Fullmetal Alchemist with a demonic grin.

"So, this is what will transpire, mortal. You will spin the wheel before you four times. The first spin will determine the new world into which you will be reborn, and the subsequent three will bestow gifts upon you. If you have questions, speak your mind," the enigmatic entity offered.

I nodded, indicating my understanding, and proceeded to approach the colossal wheel while thinking, "Of course, I have questions, plenty of them, but I don't want to end up provoking you into erasing me from existence. You don't seem like a patient being, entity?... I don't even know what is this thing, all I know is that it is dangerous."

Before me lay a giant wheel adorned with various names.

"Spin!" the being ordered.

After what felt like an eternity, the wheel finally came to a halt, landing on "[Planetos: Game of Thrones]."

"F***!. I KNEW IT!.. I knew that he was evil the moment I heard his voice" was the only thought that crossed my mind.

"Continue," the being commanded, its grin widening.

The second spin landed on "[Wolverine]." I was utterly confused, but if my assumptions were correct, then "I am the luckiest person in the world."

"Go on," demanded the being.

The third spin resulted in "[Charles Xavier: X gene]." I began to silently pray, "Oh, mighty being, this humble servant seeks forgiveness for all the impure thoughts I've had about you, my lord. I judged you based on your looks, so I thought you are some demonic god that enjoys to watch people suffer or something, but you turned out to kind "

"Now, the last one," I obeyed, giving the wheel my all.

"[Viola: Giro Giro no mi]," I whispered, fascinated.

"Okay, listen here, mortal. I will explain the three gifts you've received, and I will do it only once."

For the first gift, "[Wolverine]," You would inherit everything from Wolverine, including skills, memories, the X gene, but this would make you nearly unkillable due to the adamantium skeleton. So I will revert your bones to their normal state, and you wouldn't have any claws too .

For the second gift, "[Charles Xavier: X gene]," You could read thoughts, as for influencing the minds, it will be limited only to commoners with limitations: 1-you will need a lot of time, 2-you will have a limit of five individuals at once, 3- you can't force them to do anything, the most of what you can do is making them more loyal to you and to wipe up certain information from there heads, 4- for nobles you could only plant ideas in there minds and it is up to them to act on it or not, keep in mind that it takes at least a year for an idea to be planted.

The third gift, "[Viola: Giro Giro no mi]," was similar to the second, weaker, but it works in a large scale and it comes with x-ray vision and the ability to transform tears into hazardous projectiles. you will retain the first two abilities.

"He took all the good stuff! Why would you nerf my sh**? I knew it; you're not a benevolent being, you..." I silently cursed the being, but it interrupted.

"I can't just take without giving something in return. After all I only did so to maintain the world's balance.so hear me out."

First, Wolverine's memories wouldn't have any effect over your personality, you would not be cursed by the sea for possessing your Devil Fruit's abilities, and you wouldn't need any hand gestures to use them.

Second, the second and third gifts would merge into one, combining Charles's gift with the devil fruit which will work like Cerebro plus the x-ray vision.

Third, you will have a mental library containing knowledge from your previous world, excluding anything that could disrupt the world's balance, such as firearms manufacturing methods.

Fourth, you could choose your appearance and the year of your rebirth.

Fifth, you had intriguing thoughts but kept them to yourself, avoiding wasting my time for punishing you and you didn't ask any foolish questions. Thus, i promise not to make things difficult for you and i will be placing you where your gifts could shine.

"Oh, great being, I am nothing but a humble servant of yours. I didn't mean any of what I thought; it's just how the human brain works," I prayed.

"Enough ass-kissing. Get out of my sight! I've wasted enough time with you," the being concluded, and a black hole opened behind me, pulling me in.

"WHAT ABOUT MY APPEARANCE? AND WE HAVEN'T DECIDED IN WHICH YEAR I WOULD BE BORN IN! " I shouted as I was drawn into the void.

"I already know what you desire. I can read minds, foolish mortal," were the last words I heard before the spatial rift sealed shut.
