2 "Say, do you feel lucky today?"

Hi my dear readers, this is my first fanfiction and I hope you are satisfied with this format.

I have no idea if it's too little content for you or if it's okay. As mentioned before, please let me know if you want to see something special or if something is unclear. I'll try to release a new chapter every day to every two days, depending on how much time I have.

I don't need any money, so there won't be a Patreon account from me. The only thing I need is confirmation from you, it motivates me."

"hm,?"

a small ball of cyan energy flew into his realm, he caught it gently,

"did that truck get you? Hmm... actually, it was supposed to bring someone else to me. Oh well, one more soul doesn't change anything. As humans say, the more the better." He sent some of his divine energy into the soul, so it wouldn't break.

"Hmm... this world, then. That can be arranged."

By adding his divine energy, a male, slightly translucent figure took shape.

*huh?* The figure slowly opened its eyes, revealing two softly glowing eyes without pupils. 'Where... am I?' The ghostly figure thought to itself as it observed its surroundings quietly and calmly. There was nothing to be seen except darkness; it seemed as if the darkness stretched endlessly.

'Is this... the void?' The figure reached out its translucent hand to its face to test whether it could see it. Shocked, the figure wondered, 'why... do I look like this?... What happened?'

"You have died, my child." A bright, gentle, and calming voice sounded behind him. Shocked, he turned around, revealing who it was.

Yup, it was Kairos in his soul form. He saw a huge humanoid figure that seemed to be made of light and pure energy. To his surprise, the light did not blind him. He could also see that despite the amount of light, the endless void did not feel bright at all; it seemed as if the darkness was swallowing the light, as there was nothing that could truly be brighten by it. This also means that there are no shadows, which makes everything look very strange, distant and also very close.

'So, I'm dead, but how...?' *Argh* a pain shot through him as his memory resurfaced.

'I remember... I was standing in front of a shop, and then... everything became eerily quiet... then there was... Truck-kun... a loud bang, and... what then? Ah, why do I remember a beeping sound that sounded like a truck reversing... hmm.' A somewhat angry expression formed on Kairos's face. 'The glass door gave way, and I landed in the shop... did it save me? In any case, he ran over me two more times, was I that resistant? So much for gentle, I feel like a cockroach, gross.'

"Actually, he wasn't supposed to bring you to me, but oh well, you're already here anyway, there's no reason why I shouldn't reincarnate you. As humans say, the more the better," the voice said with some humor.

'So... if he... does that mean... I'm in the void between worlds and universes?'

"I am God, or at least that's what you call me. I am the creator of infinite worlds and galaxies also creator of infinite possibilities, and don't you find it somewhat impolite not to speak with the being that will give you a new life? I thought you humans had your values and norms as well as manners?"

"Oh... um... sorry," Kairos stuttered in a guilty tone. 'It's not like this is an everyday occurrence,' he thought to himself without losing the thought that God can hear his thoughts.

"Hmm... don't you read fan fiction, manga, comic books, light novels, and manhua every day?" God asked in a rather mocking tone.

"Well... if you want to put it that way, then yes, but personally... it's different," Kairos spoke to God, surprised and embarrassed.

"I'm surprised you're so calm and collected. Do you hate Earth, or did your reading hobby prepare you for me?" God asked Kairos.

"I don't hate Earth, it was just too boring and monotonous. I have no family or friends who will ever miss me, so I am not attached to my world," Kairos said with a sad expression. But when I think about it, Earth was actually quite safe, without superpowers, magic monsters, zombie apocalypses, or alien invasions, I mean.

"But tell me, you said earlier that I will be reincarnated by you, can I choose the world and powers? Do I have wishes?"

"Yes, no, and no. That would spoil all the suspense and surprise," God announced in a mischievous tone.

"Tell me Kairos, do you think you are a lucky man?" With this statement, God stretched his arms wide and a huge wheel of fortune appeared.

"I will send you to the world of Wakfu, I know you love it, so I'm sure you won't mind?" Helpless and full of anticipation, Kairos shook his head, after all, it was his favorite anime series and it had a lot to offer, although one could say it was not advanced in technology, except in rare cases. For example, Nox with his giant clock and robots.

"Ah... exactly, you must be wondering what the wheel of fortune is for? Well, in the stories of people like you, they have either asked for superpowers that are too strenuous and often too strong, or worse, superpowers from other worlds, other than where they are going... And what's about the Sharingan? You humans always want it. Yes, it's strong, but not unbeatable" ....

*silence*

"ahem", "anyway, on this wheel, it will show to which category your power will belong... hmm maybe a farmer, or a knight, a magician..." thus, God began to murmur uncertainly.

After a while, Kairos saw how the wheel of fortune got filled with words like; magician, swordsmen, god, demigod, fist fighters, and many other categories.

Kairos had to focus his gaze very much on the wheel of fortune to see the gap in the god category 'so narrow, all others except god and demigod are about the same size.'

"Shall we begin?" a friendly tone broke his concentration on the wheel of fortune. Kairos nodded in response.

"I wish you good luck." Thus, the huge wheel began to turn and turn and... well, to turn.

'Please, something strong, something with which I can explore Wakfu without dying, please please please,' Kairos pleaded in his heart.

It slowly came to a halt.

"And it is..."

'will I become a god?' Kairos thought full of hope...

*click*...

"magician....Nooo...so close," Kairos cried out in despair.

"Haha, too bad, so close. Don't worry, now let's continue," God tried to distract Kairos from his miserable mood, somewhat teasingly but also encouragingly.

"Hmm... ?" with a few tears of disappointment, Kairos looked at God, who spread his arms again.

Another huge wheel of fortune appeared to his right.

"This one will show categories of magician-based talents, look," God pointed to the giant wheel, and words appeared:

anti-magic magician, summoner, tamer, healer, elemental magician, rune magician, illusionist, war magician, alchemist, chronomancer, shadow walker, necromancer,Fortuneteller: "Wow, even a Chronomancer... hmm, it looks like Nox is a Chronomancer...." Kairos was amazed.

"Let's continue." God spun the wheel of fortune, both of them looking on with anticipation. "Isn't God omnipresent? He surely knows what I will get," thought Kairos. "Uh... do you know wha...." he started asking hesitantly, looking at God. "No, I don't know." he paused...

"Where's the fun in knowing the future?... Millennia would seem dull to me," God answered without fully listening to Kairos' question.

"Oh, it's already slowing down. I wonder where it will land," God asked without expecting an answer.

Shadowwalker...

"Looks like you're a Shadowwalker, congratulations," God said with interest in how Kairos would react. "A mage who masters shadows and darkness, not too bad, although I would have preferred Chronomancer or God," Kairos whispered to himself, lost in thought.

*snap*

a snap of fingers echoed in the endless void, and cracks appeared in the fabric of space itself, as if it were made of glass, the void began to shatter.

In shock, he looked at God, who waved at him.

"Haha, good luck. I'll drop a suitable weapon into the world... but you must find it, Happy Easter!"

"What? How am I supposed to..." stammered Kairos, but God interrupted him.

"Fate decides, goodbye."

With those last words, and before Kairos could ask any more questions, he found himself in space. Infinite vastness, but different from before, with stars and distant galaxies leaving him with a feeling of live.

Kairos turned around, able to move freely in space as he was only in his soul form. An impressive view greeted him

a giant planet was behind him. He floated silently in space, but that was not the most impressive thing. He had a huge ring around him, with moons, debris and ice-shards. Some moons had small glowing flowers and green grass that seemed to radiate with life energy.

"How is this even possible?... it seems like I'm already in the world of Wakfu... I can probably throw normal realism out the window."

Something pulled him towards a certain blue and green planet but before....

"Wow, this planet looks like hell. Volcanoes were spewing ash and magma endlessly, the atmosphere flickering with heat. But despite all that, something lived on this planet... earthworms that looked like living stones infused with lava.

Why can I see them so clearly despite the ash around me? Because I'm flying through the cloud layer towards the hot lava...

AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH. Mommy, help me!" With a face filled with fear and horror, he fell into the hot lava

...

...

"Huh? Why don't I feel any heat? Honestly, I didn't feel anything when entering the atmosphere either." Kairos realized, he opened his eyes only to be greeted by darkness.

"What is..." But before he could finish his sentence, Kairos saw the volcanoes again, but differently than before. He flew upwards, the force pulling him towards his destination becoming stronger.

You're right, Kairos just flew through a planet.

"Wow, I'll never forget this. It's already an adventure... especially for my nonexistent stomach... ugh... I didn't know souls could get travel sick." Kairos whispered to himself with a sickly expression.

The force pulling him became stronger and he raced towards a blue planet.

"It's slightly bigger than Earth, right?" Kairos thought aloud, pushing his previous feelings aside.

He got closer and could already make out the clouds. "Whoa, everything looks so peaceful from up here as if..."

"ARGH!"

His fall was suddenly stopped as a strange power struck him, it was like as if a fist bigger than him had hit him. The force threw Kairos' soul back, a small porcelain crack opening in his face.

But before Kairos could recover, the force pulled him back down to his target, and the process repeated itself, an energy force hitting him towards space.

"Urgh..." He screamed in pain, pain clearly reflected on his now further cracked face. A crack now ran along his right eye from his chin to his right eyebrow, destroying the eye in the process. Not only that, but his left arm showed cracks and his left foot had many cracks too.

"What... is happening... here...wohaaaaa?" The force pulled him down again, but this time he flew deeper than before. Kairos was filled with hope...

which was nearly simultaneously dashed... literally. More cracks ran along his body, his arms, legs, torso, head, with only one eye left unscathed, as Kairos, in pain, fell through the cloud layer towards a forest.

He was hit by an energy wave eleven times, each one more painful than the last.

He saw the ground getting closer and closer, a huge forest to be exact... but before he could catch his breath, he was hit by another energy wave, which threw him towards a village.

His soul, which had already suffered significant damage, began to disintegrate, leaving behind small fragments that left a trail like a comet.

Kairos had already lost consciousness. His form disintegrated like a broken eggshell, leaving only a trace of his soul behind - a slightly pulsating, cyan fire-like core that shot towards the village at a slightly pregnant woman with long brown hair, bound together, the core of the small cyan-colored soul successfully landed in the embryo...

but that wasn't all, another beam of golden energy landed on the pregnant woman hitting an other embryo withhin the soon to be mother...

however, like everyone else, she didn't notice anything about these processes and occurrences.
