Chapter 88: Picking up a Job

Cao Guang came out of the tower after ten days had elapsed. His challenges with probably the entirely of the Lightning institute was still four days away. He planned to find some hunting job to train himself. He had had more than one break throughs and needed to rest himself.

Cao Guang had submitted the jobs he took when he went to Kunming and the rewards combined with his previous contributions made him an advanced Hunter. Advanced Hunters were obviously given better treatment and information than lower ranked ones.

Cao Guang needed to compile some information about the next trip he was planning in a few months with the same team. But he was also searching for a immediate jobs for himself as well in the message boards of the Hunter Union.

Magic City Hunter Union were among the top five within the country, if a customer couldn't find something here it was unlikely it would be found at any other Hunter Union in the country.

Cao Guang was rummaging through the posters and notices in it when he was tapped on the shoulder by a familiar face.

"It's you"

"Yep, what are you doing here? Are you a Hunter?" asked Zhou Zhu.

"Yes, are you here to submit a job?"

"You're right, I need to have a few Sea Monsters hunted and their organs harvested ".

"Which type of monster?"

"Are you interested in the mission? I suppose you could handle the monster but they are very dangerous as a group, I was planning on hiring some Master Hunter".

" Master Hunter?, So they are atleast ten million in bounty aren't they? Tell me I'll see if I can handle it, if not you can hire a Master Hunter".

"Are you sure the monster I need is called Viscera Hunters, they are incredible predators of the sea and very dangerous. My father asked me to hire a Master Hunter"

"How about this, give me a day and if I fail you can hire a Master Hunter, if not give me nine million and you keep the one".

" I am not worried about the money, I don't want sent to you on a quest that will kill you".

"It's alright, I can handle it" Cao Guang finally convinced the chatterbox that he could handle the mission.

He had many reasons to do so, not only did he have peak Intermediate cultivation now, but he could summon three Warriors and two of them could face up against Advancing Warriors.

Besides Cao Guang knew sea monster were three to five times stronger than land monsters as long as they were in their element.

Cao Guang never planned to face a Viscera hunter group alone, he just needed to isolate them or find isolated ones. If he failed in a day she could just hire a Master Hunter to do it forcefully.

He would not place himself in danger like that.

Zhou Zhu needed organs of atleast three Viscera Hunters. Since Viscera Hunters were Warriors at the minimum, he needed to be prepared for danger.

The only upside to the mission is the location, he was in the Magic City Shanghai, it was a coastal place Viscera Hunters were not rare if he ventured out to the ocean side.

Besides, in the vicinity of Magic City patrols and stronger mages were not uncommon. He had a better Safety factor here for it. He could also hunt a few more if he was successful and sell their carcasses. It would also provide him with ample training opportunity for the future.

He went to the mission area and accepted the Mission with Zhou Zhu and went to the library and other areas to research Viscera Hunters in detail.

Hunter Union would not allocate this job to him if Zhou Zhu did not specifically asked for him. They would just post it for the attention of Master Hunters looking for a quick buck.

The Mission would also grant him contribution points generously and therefore it could make his path to Master Hunter faster. Any job that could earn him ten million alone, would be great for his resume as an Advanced Hunter.

Technically he would be on the same level as Lingling in the future, only she didn't as a non mage and an eight year old. Talk about a legend of the profession. He had thought about trying to join a private Hunter agency but opted against due to commitments that would be involved.

Yao Nan for example had to complete a certain level of missions, they gave him money but also took a lot of time from his cultivation. Besides he had full time job to return to after the World College tournament.
