56 Chapter 56: Bewitching Magic Spider

"What is happening here? Teachers leave students to escape alone, students want to escape in a small group and kills those who stopped them and the rest now they don't want to leave even if military sent aid. Are they all Mental? " Gao Xuan was flabbergasted.

"What do we do if we can't convince all of them to leave. Convince them by force or bring those we can bring and leave the rest to die " Song Xia practically screamed at him.

"Let's just leave by ourselves right? These guys aren't sane themselves" Luo Heng suggested.

"I see that could be one reason, you guys follow me" Cao Guang half saif his sentence and left the corridor of the school. He quickly found the stairwell and climbed up the stairs.

"First floor.... second floor... found it this is terrace"

"Slow down, why are you running towards the roof" asked Gao Xuan.

"Because there's a monster up there" said Cao Guang sarcastically, " Damn it I can't control it, come with me". Cao Guang opened the door to the roof as the trio followed him unwillingly.

The open terrace was covered with spider webs the size of a bus as in the centre lay a enormous spider with a nasty gleam in it's eyes. The spider was clearly a monster at the Advancing stage of the warrior level. Something that was hard for the group to fight alone.

Cao Guang had no choice than to believe the psychology lessons he had learned. This was clearly a Bewitching Magic Spider. At the Advancing Warriors stage, monsters were not easy for him to beat, except the spider clearly didn't have much offensive capabilities.

As long as he could defend or dodge it's attacks he had chance of killing it with his team's help.

"It's an Advancing Warrior go all out".

Cao Guang prepared his strongest spell and possessed the Little Flame Belle. The two types of flames intertwined as he prepared to blast the spell from his wrist.

Meteorite Fist Nine Halls 

Instead of a single eruption of flames from the ground nine columns of fire emerged trapping the Spider with nowhere to go.

Yet it wasn't enough as the Spider shrieked as white waves emerged from it and spread towards his group. Luo Heng's eyes lost focus and stopped the spell he had prepared.

Gao Xuan could barely stand up, while Song Xia managed to complete her spell and interupted the Spider's shriek. The sound waves hurt the spider more than flames. It forced it to drop it's defences against the flames. 

But it wasn't over as Cao prepared another spell and let his daughter attack on her own. 

Lightning Order Thunderbolt Exploding Apex

Cao Guang summouned a concentrated bolt of lightning that blasted on to the spider as it lost a leg. It Shrieked again after Song Xia's spell wore off. It was badly burned, lost a leg, indomitable Calamity Fire still burned it but it still wasn't enough as it lunged forward with bleeding ears.

The carapace of an Advancing Warrior needed more than even that. The shriek paralysed Cao Guang as he faced the Spider head on. It made him unable to move away.

Song Xia struck the beast with another, Death Song, the beast was in pain but wouldn't stop advancing towards Cao Guang. It forced itself through the pain.

Pain right pain..

Cao Guang screamed at the top of his lungs as he connected his Star Orbit at the time of his need he could only make the simplest of spells. Yet it was a Trump card for him in this situation.

A blue white wolf emerged right on top of the Bewitching Magic Spider. Fenrir activated the power stored in his horn and bit the spider without care for his life or whether his attack connected.

A Bolt of lightning hit the Spider, it was far stronger than Cao Guang's Exploding Apex and the subsequent bite tore of half of it's face. 

Broke through huh..

At the last moment Cao Guang had broken through his Mental Strength to level three. Stronger Mental Strength did correlate to stronger and faster dimensional magic. He managed to summon Fenrir at the last moment.

Cao Guang was happy that he did evolve his wolf even when he didn't have the money, gaining Warrior level combat power with a basic spell was indisputably significant at his level.

Tearing out half it's brain wasn't enough as the spider prepared another shriek, Little Flame Belle put an end to that by burning the rest of it off.

How dare the beast hurt her dad when she was right here. She was remorseful that she couldn't stop the beast from lunging forward like that.

"It's not your fault, my judgement wasn't in the best state either" Cao Guang consoled his angry daughter.
