Chapter 30: Demonstrating the Incendiary Fire (2)

Two Fire Burst reached out to the zombies who were draped in the formula and an explosion happend killing the zombies faster.

The fire still did not go out and continue to spread. The General then casted the intermediate water spell to check it's strength.

Violet Waves 

The fire put up a fight for some time before being extinguished. The general could only use third tier intermediate spells, even if he had taken Soul seeds out of the equation this was an extremely good result.

Next they would pool a group of Warriors and use intermediate spells while Fei Jiao continued to use intermediate wind spell as well.

The result mimicked the previous one but it took far longer as there were four Warriors but their intermediate spells were only first tier even if he borrowed Calamity Fire.

This continued until the demonstration of Advanced spell were the general took over for them. The General also brought hundreds of zombies and skeletons together and a Commander for the test.

The results were a still remarkable even though the general did not use Soul seeds.

As for the finale, the General spend two hours gathering Undead.

He had mobilised two hundred mages to herd Undead together. There were about 1000 Servant class, 200 Warriors and 20 Commanders. It wasn't the best idea to provoke a Monarch for a demonstration.

General drew his Star Palace at an impressive pace. Star Constellations connected insanely fast as two thousand four hundred and one Stars completed the magnificent Star Palace. General once again excluded his Soul seed.

Flame Prison Gates

A pair of fiery Gates appeared above the Undead as if attempting spew out lava it no longer needed. White Lava poured from the Gates and spread out to encompass the circle of Undead that had been herded for the test.

A great Explosion took place when the spell made contact with formula and destroyed the Undead even faster as little blue lights exited their body as Soul Essences.

Little Tora pendant could not accept Soul Essences without Cao Guang's mark, but his Soul Container had no such problems nor he an opponent as most mages gathered by the general were of Ice, Wind and Earth elements to better control the Undead.

However the Soul Container was not omnipotent like the Little Tora pendant or did it have infinite capacity. After gathering Twenty Soul essences it burped and shut itself up off like a hermit.

"Brilliant this is brilliant, Helen tell me how big was the increment ? " General Lu asked his assistant.

Helen was General Lu's assistant, she had met up with the group midway with a group of mages to assist the test.

" I have graphed the boost provide by this stuff and it seems not to be constant. It improved the basic spell 10-15% while the Super spell was improved about 30%. Stronger the spell , stronger the reaction with the formula.

This has to be used against large scale demon hordes for maximum gains and it is indeed a necessary addition to the military."

The General clearly trusted Helen's words as he no longer hesitated. 

"Young man the military will acquire this technique from you, you can discuss the price with Helen over here, I'll lead my men and take this stuff away " said the General pointing at the tank and the leftover formula.

Cao Guang excitedly walked into Helen's office. This was the moment he had been waiting for since his reincarnation. Grow stronger, make cool stuff, destroy the demon beasts and make money along the way and maybe get married as well.

"I couldn't believe when Fei Jiao said this was possible, Young man you have done your Country a great service. I won't bore you with words. The military will offer you three billion yuan for this and will put you on our priority list for supporting"

Three billion was around the mark he was expecting since they had a claim to technology anyway.

"I agree" 

Cao Guang did not haggle with Helen over this and wanted to double his money somewhere else.

On his way home he checked the Inner world of Little Tora, he wanted to check the soul essences.

One two ...

He got twenty more Servant level Soul Essences and five Warrior level ones as well.

Haha when it rains it pours 

He didn't plan on using all of them. He would sell three Warrior level ones and help his squad improve a bit. Other than he could improve his Stars as well. He had improved thirteen stars in the Fire element, but it wasn't all that urgent. Even if he improved the Fire Nebula, he could only reap the benefits when he reached the third tier in cultivation. 

The same went for his lightning and space element, but he would reach tier three faster in these as they were only Stardusts. As for the Summoning element it had the least priority as there was no point in improving the Contract Summoning. It would also improve his basic Summon spell but he didn't fancy it.

Cao Guang finally decided to improve his Space and Lightning Star dusts in advance using up Fourteen Soul essences. The lightning element was straight forward but the Space element would only receive a reduction in consumption and better control when it was active. To improve his spells he needed to push himself and break through in his Mental Strength.

As for the remaining Six soul essences and twelve derived from the Warrior grade ones, Cao Guang used them to improve another eighteen stars of the Fire Nebula, bringing his tally to thirty one.
