Chapter 146: Arriving in Japan

The sale of the body had gained them 47 million after everything, adding on the Warriors and Minions they had gained about 120 million total, which equated to 10 million per person and 20 million for Mu Yinfeng.

As for why the Commander only fetched that much was because Cao Guang stripped it of the most valuable loot it's meat, Cao Guang had given it all to Fenrir and some of the bones were broken after the fight. This was also his compensation.

The Chens graciously gave the group a boat with a route map to Japan's Xixiong City. It was closest port to China and the easiest place to acess by Sea, going to any other port increased the risk of running into Sea Monsters.

Japan was more than a thousand nautical miles from Fuzhou, the boat could upto speeds of fifty knots an hour but they could only keep it up for three hours, so they had to make use of the waves and wind.

As for using magic, it would be like fishing in the middle of the sea, only Sea monsters were the fisherman. The group had to spend atleast two weeks on the boat and had nothing much to do than cultivate.

After a few days of playing games, sunbathing and fishing all of their curiosity and interest were gone leaving just time to cultivate.

Cao Guang wanted to try and see if he could break through in an element without a Galaxy Vein, maybe it was a stretch to try it in the Space element but he had time and nothing much to do and the Little Tora pendant was not done digesting the Eternal Lotus yet.

After he had come out of the Dark Abyss, he had done some research on the Eternal Lotus, he had found a few things he did not know before.

Eternal Lotus was hard for humans to use or destroy before the Forbidden level so they had found two workarounds, one let their pets use it at the Supreme Ruler rank and try to break through to the Emperor level and second was to use it in the Forbidden level to improve their cultivation, either methods had mixed successes.

Cao Guang wondered if he had used the Lotus a bit too early.

Thankfully they had loaded up on food and some casual games, after a week on the boat even cultivation felt dreadful.

----

" Hey want to up the stakes?"

" Double or nothing?"

" Double"

" What are they betting on Zhong Yuan?" Du Ling asked after her latest round of sunbathing.

" About who can keep their head underwater the longest with spoiled food in their mouths" said Zhong Yuan with visible repulsion.

After twelve days on the sea they had found new and rotten ways to pass time.

---

On their thirteenth night on the boat, Cao Guang went onto the deck to keep an eye out and started meditation as the night went on. A mage wasn't clueless or helpless when meditating unlike when sleeping this was why mages preferred to meditate outside cities as compared to sleeping.

Cao Guang was visiting his Space Nebula, again. The Fire, Lightning and Summoning Galaxy spun around a void in the centre, some cultivators attributed that void as the soul.

The three Nebulas of Space, Light and Earth were there as well but just not conspicuous.

The more elements a person had the larger their spiritual world and more their spiritual energy and higher their level of Mental Strength. Of course there were other ways of improving Mental Strength than having more elements than usual. Pushing yourself beyond the limit on the brink of death was the most successful one.

Some argued it was one hundred percent sucessful but the mages died before or after succeeding.

The 49 stars of Space Nebula were in a constant state of flux and were the most eager to catch up, it was tired of being the little brother, at the advanced level with intermediate tier Mental Strength Space element was as effective as any.

His meditation continued well into the fourteenth morning as the others let him be.

Disturbing a mage during cultivation was a grave sin.

Suddenly Cao Guang felt a force he had waiting for weeks as energy sprouted out of the Little Tora pendant and under his guidance onto the barrier between the Space Nebula and Galaxy.

The rest of them were suprised how many elements Cao Guang had at the Advanced level already. They had seen Gao Xuan break through to the Advanced level in his secondary element on the boat and were already jealous, now they had to watch this freak bring his third element to the advanced level.
