If not for it possessing a Domain, Flame Belle would have drained the Soul seed dry when she evolved, because it did it only fell from 6 x to 5 x.

A Domain was so overbearing that there was an adage among Advanced mages

'Only Domains can fight other domains and the stronger Domain wins '.

A/n: soul seeds are the item while Spirit, Soul and Heavenly are the categories.

This Soul seed was so strong and with it's domain even a sacred spirit like a Flame Belle failed to refine. Why the species of Flame Belles were adored was because in the Maturing phase they could possess upto two Soul grade seeds, one congenital and one refined.

The cultivation of Calamity Fire determined what level a Flame Belle would be in, the refining of another Soul grade Fire would help her improve her strength even more.

Flame Belle's mother the Fiery Empress had two flames one for offence and another for defence. Cao Guang was sure the Brown defensive one was the Calamity Fire on her but it was different for Little Flame Belle. It depended more on a sacred spirit's understanding and development of fire.

Right now Cao Guang had two options come back and try later when the strength of Calamity Fire had improved or train with Flame Belle here and attempt in their combined form. Since there was a risk of a battle against Shi Qianshou he didn't hesitate before choosing the second.

But first he needed to achieve complete control over his stars, while hoping Shi Qianshou spent his efforts on finding the Earth Pistil and only asked a subordinate to make sure he didn't leave the area secretly.

He had a fighting chance against the guy only if he had a Soul grade Fire with a Domain. He also needed the battle to take place in the midst of Sandstorm Demon Locusts.

If Shi Qianshou didn't follow him among the Sandstorm Demon Locusts he was happy to travel with the Little buggers for sometime until he came near a city or civilization in general.

He knew the Sandstorm Demon Locusts were afraid of the Fire he named Crimson Death as he saw them every night flying in to it. Crimson Death seemed to possess the same characteristic as Ardent Sunset, it was the nemesis of small creatures with large population, namely insects.

It took Cao Guang another six days to gain full control over his stars, overall it took him 34 days that was excluding the days he only rested. Factoring in the help provided by the Elemental Sacred land he was a bit annoyed at his speed. By when he thought the strength possessed by him when possessing the Flame Belle he couldn't help but smirk.

With just tier one Advanced cultivation, while possessing the Flame Belle he could express the strength nearing the peak of Advanced level with the help of the 7x multiplier. He wasn't far from the strength required to dominate the World College tournament.

He made his way up the mountain a bit easily since he could control his stars when it got harder for him, he took a deep breath and possessed the Flame Belle and flew to the top of the mountain.

When there was the danger of a mad Advanced mage trying to kill you, one would loose their inhibitions. Cao Guang flew straight into the lava as he needed to be kept the Fire and lava at bay, while Flame Belle attempted to refine the Soul seed.

Any closer to the lava and he was in serious danger of disintegrating into the fundamental particles. The Little Flame Belle took over and attempted her objective.

Cao Guang had put a clock on the matter, he deduced that he would last only twenty minutes in this state before he ran out of physical energy to keep the possession active and then he would need the Flame Belle to carry him out of here.

Minutes passed by him with excruciating speed as Flame Belle finally... finally controlled the Flames.

Crimson Death was acquired..

Cao Guang felt what it was like to have his magic boosted 12 x times. But that was just the boost, the state of possessing a Flame Belle brought strength on its own.

However Cao Guang discovered another fact as he left the area slowly, the Flame Belle was strong enough to fight Great Commander just like a team of peak Advanced mages, any stronger and she could face upto Shi Qianshou on her own.

Afterall the guy was not a Super Mage yet and the Domain factor would deter the Sandstorm Demon Locusts.
