Chapter 1: Reborn

What is this place?...

It's warm..and comfortable..

I kinda don't wanna leave..

How did I get here again?...

Oh yeah.

I died.

*VRRRMM...BAM!*

That was the sound of the car hitting and killing me.

But after that I was here, In this dark yet warm and comfortable place.

That light...It's..so bright.

"He's so beautiful."

My eyes were blurry and heavy, I could barely hold them open.

"My sweet, sweet boy." It was a woman's voice.

The blur in my eyes finally cleared up.

And I could see pretty well. I checked my surroundings, and saw a hospital-like room. There were many doctors standing around me.

The hands that held me were soft and gentle, it was a woman.

'Heh..I get it now.' I thought.

'Im a baby..'

"Hello, little Riku." She said as she touched my tiny nose.

"He's so cute! Congratulations Mrs. Tanaka" A woman nurse said.

"Thank you..!"

'Just where am I?'

It's been a week since I've been here in this new world. I believe I know what world I'm in, It's an anime called 'Tokyo Revengers'. How do I know this? because the system said so.

The system is also just like I expected; The typical Cliche cheat you get when dying.

It's not like I'm ungrateful though.

'Status' I thought.

Suddenly a blue-transparent screen would appear before my eyes.

The title read 'Tokyo Revengers System'. I couldn't do anything with it just yet though, sadly.

5 months later.

It's been 5 months since I learned about the system and this world.

Time has been flying by me recently, and I'm hoping it starts going faster so I can finally grow out of this baby-body already.

I'm Currently In this daycare right about now. There are kids running all around me and toys being thrown everywhere, the person holding me is the daycare owner. She's a really nice lady; you can tell from her face. She has black hair and blue eyes, a slim body and is actually a really nice looking lady.

Is this something a 5 month old should be thinking? For sure not.

"Oh, Riku!..." She said while grabbing my fat-filled cheek.

I still don't know her name for some reason, but kid's just call her aunt.

"Aww..you hair is getting pretty long for a baby Riku! I mean just look at that beautiful black hair." I would stare at her while drooling profusely.

"Don't look at me with those eyes..aww."

UGH! I'm just about tired of this already.

But..it isn't so bad. My old life was worse I could say.

I died at only 23 years old, not even able to fulfill my dreams and live my life.

I died while trying to save a child running after their ball rolled into the middle of the street. Typical cliche death, I know. Hmm..everything that's happened to me IS kinda cliche now that I think about it? HAVE THE GODS BLESSED ME??

A smile would come upon my face, and it wasn't a cute one.

"...Hello, yes Mrs. Tanaka you're son is..acting weird."

4 years have passed.

Today is my birthday, I'm officially 4 today.

I never thought I would see the day where people actually celebrated my birthday with me.

A new tab was also unlocked today on the system.

I would click on the tab and be surprised by the flash of light that greeted me.

"So what should I do now.." I would start to click random things that did nothing.

Suddenly I would click the button that said <Buy>.

I would set my hand on my chin. "Revenger coins? How am I supposed to get those." I asked.

I would look up in the top corner in the right of the screen.

"Woah, so over the course of 4 years I've obtained this much!"

I would open the martial arts tab and buy Capoeira.

<You bought Capoeira>

I would stand up slowly from the place I was sitting.

Doing the movements flawlessly in seconds.

"Look at Riku go dear!" My mom and dad were standing behind me watching.

"Oh..where did you learn that Riku?" My father asked.

"YouTube!" I replied.

My mother and father were nice people, my mother was a hard working lady who worked and took care of me every single day, my father worked even harder to take of me and my mother, and because of that he wasn't around all the time.

My mother was a beautiful woman, she had dark hair, and really dark eyes. Her pale skin complimented this look and made her even more of a pretty lady. My father was a stern looking young man in his early 30's, he has extremely dark brown hair and dark eyes just like my mother and me. He was a tall and handsome man, probably a playboy back in his days.

My mother's name is Sada Tanaka and my fathers name is Ryozo Tanaka they both got married after they graduated college and a couple years ago had me.

Well that's my family.

I'm only 1 year away from starting school, I'm getting PTSD just thinking about it...

You know how it feels to finally finish school, JUST to go right back.

"Sigh~"

And so, time passed as fast as the speed of light it felt.

I'm now 6; I just started school last year and I'm already popular for some reason. And I've been practicing my martial art every single day for a couple of hours.

I even went the extra mile and decided to train my body a bit.

It's nothing crazy, Just simple push ups, crunches, and even a small run when I have time.

The system even rewards me for doing so.

I've been getting used to this world.

I'm ready to see what awaits me.
