Ch 9: Status…

After I comforted Kazuki. She… became extremely clingy to say the least.

And followed me to the bathroom where I intended to take a shower.

"Ahh—Hiroto! that was the first time you kissed me"

She said blissfully and so content holding my hand to her chest.

"One more time…"

She continued as she poked my chest with her index finger.

As I put a finger on her mouth to stop her from speaking.

"I can't do that Kazu—ki"

I said as my words get halted at the sight of my sister putting my finger in her mouth licking multiple times like a popsicle stick occasionally sucking my finger. Like those girls in Hentai's and doujinshi.

Silently staring at her doing that.

It was starting to turn me on. So I pulled my hand back from her. As I covered my tent discreetly with my hands.

I did it cautiously but…

"Hmm——Hiroto, what are you hiding from me"

Kazuki noticed it.

Smiling smugly as she was looking at my hands that are covering it.

"Let me see what you're trying to cover up~"

She licked her lips as she went on to grab at my hands covering my pitched-tent.

By instinct I came stopping her hands from grabbing my—hands.

Leaving my bottom exposed as she sees the bulge sticking out in my pants.

"Ara~ Do you need any help with that——"

Who would have thought Eternal Arms Mastery could f*ck me up like this too. If only I forgot to defend myself. After all, my physical strength is enough to not budge at her stunt.

Asserting my dominance as I told Kazuki whilst holding her hand up.

Telling her to not go beyond our already intimate contact. At least not yet. Acknowledging her love for me and wanting to put off with her going to the next level for when we get older.

I'm not ready for it after all…

"Hmm—fine"

It was a short response but she finally quieted down with a smile on her face.

After this interaction, although she was quite intimate she didn't show any gesture that suggest for more like she did previously.

Maybe, she can't wait for that day, but for now she knows I'll someday do it with her, so she either feels that it's destined to happen and just has to wait or maybe even forget it?—

Just as I was a hesitant on this thought. Another picture flashes in my mind.

It was a scene I started to remember. During that bus trip, she—mentioned that whenever she was bored would 'remember pages from a book'

To be precise quoting her from—episode—10——is it of Grisaia No Kajitsu, 'If I see a book's contents. I can memorize it like a picture and read it anytime…'

My innate-talent isn't all that special to her after all. We're quite similar. I'm just built different.

It just so happened that Kazuki was more in tuned with Science and Art. Whereas I'm a natural at all fields at the start.

The rest of the bath was filled with occasional kisses initiated by Kazuki.

As I go to my room lying down my bed. It's been the first day. An interesting day.

Everything is laid out quite neatly, so that should be good. All of these seem self-explanatory, but I might miss something if I don't ask.

'System, tell me individually what each thing entail?'

Thinking in my head, as afterwards another display showed up.

{ Yes Host! The rank of the Host is interpreted by the competence of the host in terms of the Host capacity, based on intelligence, strength, agility, vitality, and other known attributes of the Host.

Skills are divided into Innate to Acquired.

Innate Skills are those that the Host is born with or abilities that have been 'embedded' to the Host, unable to usually be deactivated, as it is permanent.

Acquired Skills are learned abilities that the Host themselves takes upon, learns, and acquired.

Lastly, Acquired Skills are ranked from Least to Greatest:

F—>E—>D—>C—>B—>A—>???

For a reference, C is Average Potent Skills. Anything lower range from Beginner-to-Subpar skills. All of the skills are ranked based on potency and amount of force the Host is capable of producing, essentially the power or proficiency of the individual skill }

Hmm—A very weird way of explaining it, but this does clear some misconceptions I had. And it seems I've already surpassed most people of my age by a large margin. Almost the peak of humanity.

I guess those times stretching myself were quite useful for why I had such high agility contributing a lot to attaining this rank.

As for strength it is most likely my lowest attribute seeing as I know my limits when it comes to the average adult. I'm near it in terms of strength, but not enough is the best I could evaluate myself.

Vitality due to not eating much sweets and consuming only healthy amounts along with my training.

Then there is also that Fighting Skill that is ranked C-, that does seem right. As I had no sparring matches for actual experience, only a soft-demonstration I had with instructors I never recognized or bothered remembering their names.

As knowing how to do something is different from the real thing. The old question of Experience versus Talent. Nurture versus Nature.

Let's see, then next on the list is my intelligence being quite an outlier in my parameters most likely becoming the greatest contributor to my approaching rank of peak-human, but I guess that's just how much information I've taken in.

Although most of them are just read-content and no experience with using them much, I can still identify what they mean or some thoughts with how to use them.

All of these add up to my current rank of being near-peak-human or otherwise known as Advanced-Human. If my guess is right, my physical capability is holding me from actually becoming a true Peak-human through and through. As for other attributes of mine I certainly have already surpassed the rest, from kids to adults. Intelligence more so.

In the end, I don't have a weakness to any subject or form of human endeavor considering…

[ All Affinity ]

I basically have an affinity to anything. As I may not have the time to focus on everything at once but in the end, I'll be better than the average if I focused on all subjects.

And supreme when I only concentrate on one or just a few. As there are reasons why people pursue a job that requires a specific set of skills. There is not too much energy to be set in all sort of subjects nor even capability for the average person.

I'm just thankful that Photographic-memory is compatible with All Affinity, so although I may not be able to pursue all-fields, I can still beat the average or learn at a much faster-pace if I do. And as for my previously already strong latent affinity, they may have improved to a certain degree.

And the full-extent of this ability is not yet explored. As affinity can mean different things. It can mean being compatible with absolutely anything. But what exactly does it entail by the word 'anything.'

Besides there are only a few that I find more important to focus to anyways, subjects that seem far more useful.

Like Biology, Fighting, Chemistry, Economics, Physics and Computer Sciences.

Mainly due to these being useful and functional.

Not to mention possibly applicable to the worlds I might visit someday hmm——

Whether it be Supernatural World or some random normal slice-of-life kind of verse.

As I lay there contemplating over my current plans and utility that some fields possess.

I started falling asleep, knowing that's enough for the day.

As I headed to the lights, shutting them off.

And lie down on my bed, as I started to blink slowly, staring at my quite simple and empty room.

A room that had no toys nor distinct characteristics as I simply did not want them for I am an adult-inside.

And with a grin, I let out my last few thoughts out.

Besides, there's no anime-figurines in this world. At least not ones to my liking, heh…

As I finally fell asleep closing my eyes shut and dozed off.

(Author's Note: Yep, as you guys can see I have changed the Status in the System. I changed it to indicating Rank and skills, mostly due to a problem I kept having with optimizing numbers and being one of the things holding me back greatly)
