First World (In Progress) : —Grisaia no Meikyuu. —Yandere Simulator. —Otome Dori! —Classroom of the Elites —Happy Sugar Life! ————————————————————— (***Author’s Note*** I am still new to writing, so I am trying to get adjusted to writing a story meaning everything is still in progress and undergoing improvements as I improved in this journey. Feel free to leave a note for any problems. Another heads up, I do not own any anime, art, or character aside from the OC protagonist mentioned in this novel. It is merely a fanfiction trying to develop my writing skill. At times the cover may be an AI generated picture or one that was picked off the internet. I will try to include both, one original and one generated, so as to give the readers an image to go off on, in various styles. And considering this is a fanfic there are a lot of spoilers, so those that want to get spoiled, it is your choice to read. Additionally, the update schedule for new chapters is inconsistent which can come in days, a few weeks, and possibly rarely months. Lastly, the pacing is slow for a various reasons, as it gives me more ways to develop the story and build a decent foundation to all later future chapters. Not to mention, being too fast-paced gives off the vibes of being rushed. )

Ch 6: Flashbacks and System…

Things truly are starting to become more interesting.

Before this stressful day, I have read tens of thousands of books. Actually putting my innate cheat of photographic-memory to a good use. Re-reading even some of them with similar content to what I already learned. As after all, memories before reincarnation have been hazy, or takes time to recollect.

I still have them, it's just difficult to process at the moment. And anything after reincarnation is as clear as day, so I didn't mind my previous problems.

With that said, it's was quite simple to take all that content in. As I already had high-comprehension speed prior. Alongside my memory, already makes me unparalleled, unable to forget easily and able to recall whatever I may have missed off the top of my head, all in an instant.

I also went through all sorts of books that fascinated me, since I was two-years old, meaning four-years ago.

Which was also the time I started exposing my major talents to my family.

At the time when I was reading moderately-challenging books that we have available at home.

(Another Flashback 4-Years Ago)

Somewhere in a rich two-story modern home, sat an exceptionally cute two-year-old boy having a captivating-appearance by the corner near the living-room, with a few books near him closed, at the moment intensely focused on reading one.

It's quite an odd, yet easily noticeable spot.

Anyways, no more delays.

If I don't expose my talents, sooner or later my Ryouji, my father will start neglecting me to the point of starvation amongst other things. A chain reaction that could also turn my mother to abandon her care for me. Since her only weakness is my father Ryouji, the greatest deterrent for her to even have helped Yuuji in the first place.

The moment that he does not exactly find a talent he could value. The mistreatment will start.

So, now I'll just wait—

Wait for my family to notice me reading out in the open by the living-room. Afterwards, when one of them asks me a question on either what I'm doing or reading and doing so precisely hours on end, to prompt them to start questioning me.

I will respond to a complex and detailed level far beyond my years. Whomever may ask, I just need them to notice just how smart I am, to spark their interest. Hopefully, then my entire family knows, mainly my father.

Once I accomplish this goal, I can gain more freedom, support, and my father willing to invest in on my talent allowing all my needs or wants to be met.

With a grin on his remarkably handsome-face, he awaits. And then stopping from his line of thought, as he seriously studies the content in the book in his hand.

As it accomplishes both fulfilling his mission and gaining more knowledge for the benefit of himself. Killing two-bird with one stone as you call it.

A few hours passes by—

As my family returns home one-by-one from where they came from.

Starting from my mother back from the groceries store.

"I'm back Hiroto!"

As Satoko opens the door with a creak says out loud.

Not yet, everyone's not here.

But I greet her as I laid my book down, helping her put the groceries by the kitchen.

Then went back to reading.

As she started cooking for dinner, she spots me reading, glancing at me from time-to-time. But withdraws as she focused on cooking.

30-minutes passes by— And the door opens again. This time I ignore it, knowing this is the great chance to have my family know my talents.

Hearing two different distinct footsteps knowing everyone has arrived home. I ignore everything and put my full attention to the book.

From the corner of my eye, I see Kazuki, spotting me as she comes to the living room.

"Hmm——Hiroto~ What are you reading?"

She asked. And yet I ignore her question. As if I was put to a spell with my eye still honed in the book.

"Mou.. Hello, Earth to Hiro—Earth to Hiro— Are you here?"

She asked once again, only this time she is directly in front of me, close to my face. Snapping her fingers as Kazuki questioned.

"Ah Nee-san! I'm sorry I was too focused in this book that I wasn't listening"

I spoke using vocabulary and too-coherent speech not fit for my age.

"Hiroto— Where'd you learn to speak like that?"

Kazuki questioned my seemingly mature way of speaking. Looking over at the title of the book I'm reading.

It was a long explanation, detailed, and complex, but I told Kazuki how interesting the books were.

As I started spouting some high-level complex stuff from the different university-level books I read this past hour.

Occasionally picking up other books and explaining how interesting they were.

And of course, my 'excitement' or loud outburst speaking of the books to Kazuki attracted the attention of my parents.

Just as I planned heh—

"Hiroto… When did you start reading these books exactly?…"

Kazuki was surprised picking up one book after another. As she thought, aren't these university-level books? And Hiroto shouldn't be able to understand these?

"Ah! I read them all after you guys left for some time"

I responded with an innocent-looking face as I answered Kazuki.

Shocking my family once again.

"You mean to tell me—that you read four university-level books in just a span of a few hours? And you understood it to that level~"

Kazuki very suspicious of me raising an eyebrow at me, yet unable to argue against me as she remembered how I went full-nerd on her earlier, explaining all that complex stuff on her unfit for my age.

Anyways, I nodded to her question, as my family went silent.

All of them became appalled by everything they just witnessed and confirmed.

My father, Ryouji interested in how much I knew from just reading for a few hours and to such a detail. Alongside the fact that I was just two-years old.

"Hoh— Interesting— very interesting. As I thought another prodigy. Heheh~~"

Ryouji chuckles as his eyes glows looking towards me. Observing my talent with interest.

"Should this much be enough"

Randomly out of the blue, Ryouji muttered

It felt weird, enough of what exactly? I'm not sure what he means by that. It's probably nothing.

But I guess it was a success.

(Flashback Ends)

Reminiscing that time, afterwards they were very lenient and affording.

As I requested my father for all sorts of books and showed him my prowesses to gain more support for him to give me what I wanted.

Anyways I started with all sorts of topics, down to the basics then to university-levels.

From general studies involving complex Mathematics, English, History, and Science.

Then transitioned to other subjects, like Biology, Economics, a bit on Psychology, Physics, Computer Programming, Chemistry, Medical, and Music.

Aside from all those books, I also requested Ryouji to allow me to partake in all sort of martial arts dojos.

Starting from Taekwondo.

And because I had been training since a newborn, albeit bit-by-bit. My flexibility exercise is showing the fruits of my training during my time as a baby.

As it allowed me to performed techniques that need that degree of flexibility. And although I'm still a child with a small frame.

Like a sponge I took in what they taught. Learning all sorts of martial arts.

They were all begging for me to stay seeing as I was a fighting-prodigy in learning all of their signature techniques. I guess they wanted for me to fight competitions which is only allowed at the youngest-age of 8 minimum.

And being 6-years old I am not excluded from this requirement.

Anyways, their praise and awe of my talents only added more to my benefit.

As it went on to fueling my father's motivation to support me even greater. And that made him more lenient as for my request, he's probably doing that in hopes that I win competitions with prizes some time in the future. Maybe expecting me to do great things or something along those lines in the future.

In my previous-life I never really took interest in much things that's why I never invested on this fighting-talent and tried pushing myself.

Other than playing games of course, as although some may find gaming useless and doesn't do you well, some games do train you in certain things that is applicable to the real world.

As FPS games can rely on quick-decision, cooperation, and my personal skills, like my own individual reaction time, aiming, hand-eye coordination, and spatial cognition.

Some people don't really focused on improving these skills, so they never improve regardless if they play these games all the time.

But just as I play from time-to-time, I actually take the game seriously, to the point that I think thoroughly of my actions in-game.

Like memorizing the layout of my buttons, to analyzing enemies movement in the map, reaching top-ranks in just a matter of playing a few games with consecutive victories.

These are applicable to the real world, yet are never really used unless in such situations, like having versatile hands when under a threat of a person about to put their hands on you. The reaction time to know when to react. Amongst other things.

Although I had confidence on my abilities to face the world of Grisaia even without my cheat. The thing I hate the most is about the mix of other series in this world, is the unpredictable nature of it all.

As it will mean all sorts of things will happen at once. And my possible involvement to it all will mean I will be entangled with their stories, their plot.

It also means my plans will be quite volatile to change. Making my life more stressful and away from the kind of life I am pursuing.

The laidback yet easy life interacting with characters I found to my taste in Grisaia, like Amane Suou or my sister Kazuki seeing as I sort of learned to grow attached to her shenanigans and sexual touching. Not to mention that she has been growing.

Basically, a harem is partly what I want. It's what all reincarnated or transmigrated individuals who get to anime verses want, even me.

And instead I got some bigger characters right in the mix. Satou is not my concern, she is quite cute and a cool character I am quite willing to save.

All I have to do is prevent her from being taught wrongly or by a bad influence of her aunt whom warps her idea of love at an early age.

But the other two are least desirable. And who knows how many of them exist, as well as whether or not they're just as disorderly.

Understanding that all I've encountered so far have been chaotic series.

Almost like a common theme of tragic and dark characters, past, or traits.

Each ones I came in contact with having a dark-side to them as well.

And possibly not the only ones to come in this world so the risks are high.

Yet at the same time— with this blue transparent display in front of me.

[ Hello Host! ]

With a large grin on my face.

It just made everything more interesting.

Let's see—

'Hey System tell me what you can do?'

As I thought of a question in my head knowing a bit on how systems in novels may operate.

[ Yes Host! ]

The system responded in a mechanical voice. As afterwards another blue transparent display popped in front of my face showing four-options.

—————————

[ Host: Hiroto Kazami ]

< Age: 6 >

< Race: Human >

< Points: 0 >

[ Status ]

[ Lottery ]

[ Shop (Resets Every Year) ]

[ Worlds ]

—————————

Nodding to the options presented to me.

I wonder what each of them entail. And the inner-workings along with conditions of each options.

Hmm…

'System tell me what each options does in full-detail?'

—————————

[ Yes Host! ]

{Status shows mainly your rank and skills}

{Lottery is a gamble to which you can gain randomly useless items, skill, or abilities to overpowered ones. 3000 points for a full ten-pull with a higher rate for rare items, skills, abilities, or bloodlines }

{ Shops list 3 purchasable things that can be absolutely anything, from meaningless ones to useful stuff. From skills to abilities, to items, and to bloodlines. They refresh every year. The form of currency to buying items are points received from interfering with the Fate or plot of the World. And the price depends on the value of the items presented. The Host also has the option of forcefully resetting the Shop with 1000 Points rather than waiting a full-year }

{ Points are generally harvested via the amount of interference of the fate or plot of the World }

{ Worlds include the Main World of where you started from which is the Host starting world.

Current Worlds are world's you have visited.

When traveling to other worlds, there are two-possibilities that may occur with their own set of advantages in terms of visiting.

First, Reincarnation through which you will have a new family granting you not only identity of that world, but bloodline abilities your family they may have. As well as granting the Host the capability to develop via the world's power system or concepts.

Second, Transmigration via turning back into the Host current state at the time of the system's arrival of 6 years-old, to adapt to the world's will and concepts, allowing the Host to be able to use the power system existing on the worlds norms. However, the host does not attain an identity that the creatures of the world possess nor the bloodline that may exist.

In both options, at the time of traveling will retain previous abilities or bloodlines prior and done so gradually as they age, adapting with time in order for the body to accomodate such loads.

On that note, essentially once the Host goes to another World select a compatible former resident to replace or 'create a vessel' whether it be in the form of being a descendant or taking the place of a certain character of that world.

And by replace it means exactly as it is stated. A former resident's inheritance. Such as the Host's current situation having taken the place of Kazami Yuuji. In which case, the Host's has taken his spot, talents, and everything about him depending on the choice of the Host can progress to the original experience that were in set or an entirely new development. And all of that inheritance combines with the Host prior powers.

As for Transmigration this does not apply, but the Host's body is mended to as the way the World's Will intended which is the reason for that regression to the exact time the Host binded the System.

Both are set to avoid from angering the World's Will to interfere with your arrival or changes.

And at the time of arrival, time of Main World of the Host will cease or stopped in that moment of time until the Host returns. Just as this is happening, whilst the Host remains in the Main World, time for all other worlds halts.

The time of the World the Host travels to can also be warped to a random time of the plot of the world.

And to obtain a World Ticket, a major change or interference by the Host must occur and granted as a reward that will allow Host to leave the world to a random world or via spending a substantial amount of points to afford one.

For a reference, the cost of a ticket is 5000 Points. }

(Authors Note: Welp, trying to optimize the rewards for a mission that the protagonist completes will be a pain, but this was the best I could think of that won't make this story short-pace and not make Hiroto have to travel to other worlds making lengthy chapter just for boring content just to become stronger. And yet at the same time will not make him too stupidly powerful that tries to take away the fun of it all. At least that is what it seem like to me. Otherwise later on if the story development becomes weird. I'll either do a rewrite or a new fanfic)

(New Author's Note 04/26/2023: I removed the Mission function as I thought that the way I'll be implementing it will not work out as I'd thought, but changed it to the idea that the amount of changes Hiroto makes to the 'fate' or plot of the world equates to a certain amount of points that I will painfully optimized. Also Shop resets every year, because it's going to be a pain in the ass trying to come up with new items for the protagonist to buy. Although I did also add a forced reset of the shop. And set the status up differently)
