Adapt

After leaving the building with a corpse and a head, he was walking alongside the road still blind and releasing steam.

All of the people in his path would leave avoiding him, knowing who he was holding onto.

"Who the fuck's that guy."

"I don't know, but isn't that the fucker who came from the first circle who keeps calling himself Maestro and fucking up Morgan's business?" A sinner said talking about the one in Finn's hand.

"Oh yeah, shit that's brutal."

"And it looks like Morgan already paid someone to take care of it or ordered it."

"He should have already made a name for himself if he's a subordinate to Morgan though."

"It's one of Morgan's hidden cards I guess."

"There's really a lot of dumbasses making a name for themselves by messing with Overlords."

"Well it's working, the most notable ones is in the first circle."

"Oh yeah! In Pentagram City, right?"

"Yeah one of them is Cherri."

"I'm even surprise she's still alive."

"We're pretty lucky to not been dropped in the Pentagram City."

"Yeah."

"Well that's what you get for messing with an Overlord and it looks like he was merciful too not killing him for real."

"..."

"What?"

"Why do you think he's carrying him."

Hearing that the other sinner's eyes widened.

"Are you telling me..."

"Yep he's going to experience Hell in Hell. If that was me I'd rather die than get tortured for fucking eternity."

"Remind me to not mess with an overlord again."

"Will do buddy, for now let's avoid him."

'Im not the first circle... interesting.'

Finn was looking for a place to eat the body he's holding and sleep using his hands as a guide.

'Sleeping in an alley would be nice.'

Finn kept strolling around until he finally found a quiet alley with no one around.

'This place is okay.'

Finn sat down in the middle of it and started eating the corpse he's holding.

'I wouldn't be able to eat this if I didn't have a strong digestive tract. Looks like I'll be able to adapt to Hell.'

After a long time eating the corpse not leaving anything but a hand.

He threw it as far he can.

'I'm not sure if he'll regenerate in my insides or not but I'm not taking chances since I'm vulnerable inside and I need to work on that.'

Finn laid down on the side and slept.

'I need to change my appearance too...'

After a full 48 hours of sleep with no interruption whatsoever...

Finn woke up all healed feeling more pain than ever before.

'Fuck...'

The pain Finn was feeling was not something anyone or anything in Earth could endure.

If a human who has experience with pain felt Finn's pain for a fraction of a second, the sudden pain could make the human have a heart attack.

Even if the human lived, the brain would be tricked to sending enormous amount of hormones just to stop the pain which disappeared and it would exhaust itself until it eventually kills itself.

The pain comes from each and every part of of his DNA changing, looking for ways to improve every second which compared to humans would take generations to completely evolve a gene in them.

Finn needs to make sure to eliminate every single defect which could form that could lead to bigger problems that Finn can't stop.

Finn only sleeps and turn off his senses to be more focus and concentrate so he can speed up his evolution while accurately eliminating abnormalities in his DNA.

If defect did happen and gone undetected it would have severe consequences if it starts affecting Finn's genes while evolving too without Finn's knowledge.

Finn is the one who controls his body and cells, he is different from humans.

He became a different species the day he decided to put his body in a critical state to tricked his brain to create and replace his genes which are far more superior to human genes that are close to human cancer genes but superior, instead of staying immature it grows indefinitely, his DNA is modified by him to maintain his human body look and not grow extra limbs while regenerating.

Finn can survive getting fatally wounded but is scared of it because it may lead to him not eliminating a defect in his evolving genes that might make him need to regress.

'Looks like I can see again...'

Finn took a deep breath.

'Finally fresh air.'

Finn looked up and saw the a red beautiful the sky of Hell for the first time that always been above him since the time he came here and... a white planet with a halo.

'Is that Heaven?'

Finn was no longer releasing steam but he was extremely tired though it isn't visible by looking at him.

Finn's iris, sclera, skin tone and hair changed to white, everything is white including his mouth is white.

All White.

'I was deciding if I should be black blending in the blood of sinners but I like white, so white. Copying the properties of the sinners blood are definitely hard but I did it, the only problem is I can't overwork my body but I can exert more strength than before. It's not that a big of a deal since I can always combine my previous DNA with the properties of sinners acidic blood properties which could handle more heat so my blood won't boil while overworking myself, but it won't be the color of sinners blood so that's bad.'

Finn was still covered in the sinner's blood which he cleaned by using his shirt which was also covered in sinner's blood too.

'Now... what should I do?'

Finn walked out of the alley entirely looking the same with just a different skin, hair and eye color, anybody who has seen him a few times before could tell it's the same person.

"Puahahahahha! That Maestro guy's outright fucking soft in the head! He should have already returned home once Morgan paid somebody to fuck him up! Hahaha!"

"Hahahahah and he has to get himself fucked up in a bar too hahahaha what a dunce!"
