364 349. The Sudden Meeting Between Future Inlaws

The 20,000 trapped Liu Biao's men began to panic seeing that they didn't have a way out, and this panic was then taken advantage of by Guan Yu who led a set of Liu Bei's Cavalries to mow down Liu Biao's trapped infantries and archers.

The sudden appearance of Guan Yu and his cavalry unit caused large damage to Liu Biao's trapped soldiers, and Cai Mao alongside Wang Can could only see this happening gall right before their eyes.

Before Lady Yan could even respond a single word to Yu Yan, Lu Lingqi woke up from her thoughts when she heard Yu Yan's voice, where she immediately greeted Yu Yan back and also greeted Lie Shang who had joined Yu Yan's side, followed suit by Lie Fan who stands on the right of his mother.

She introduced her mother to both Yu Yan and Lie Shang and vice versa, when Yu Yan heard that Lady Yan was Lu Lingqi's mother her kind smile became much more kind, and apologized to Lady Yan for the trouble Lie Fan had caused by bringing Lu Lingqi to battle with him previously.

Hearing this Lady Yan smiled kindly and shook her head in response, saying that it wasn't Lie Fan's fault since it was Lu Lingqi who was insistent on it and there was nothing that she and Lie Fan could do to stop her.

Lady Yan and Yu Yan then continue to talk with each other ignoring the other three people beside them, and before long the two call each other sister.

This surprised Lie Fan who was in awe at the fast speed of his mother and his future mother in law in becoming friends, seeing this he turned to Lu Lingqi and winked his eyes causing her to blush and all of this was noticed by both Lady Yan and Yu Yan, who looked at each other and let out a gentle laugh as the both of them could see what each other was thinking.
