Liu Yao doesn't have any more choice but to turn to Shi Xie, who holds a large amount of land in the southern part of the Land at Jiaozhi Province, Shi Xie accepted his request to ally with him but in return, Liu Yao owed a favor which he could ask for anytime.

Liu Yao feeling that a favor is nothing compared to his survival agreed to the alliance, He immediately released the news of his alliance with Shi Xie in the hope of intimidating Lie Fan and Sun Jian.

The Navy ships under Jiang Qin and Gan Ning's supervision set sail approaching the island, seeing how vast it was and how fertile it was with the trees and green grass that spanned the sand of the beach.

After several hours, they finally reached Taiwan and under Ling Cao and Li Feng's orders the 30,000 men immediately onboard the ships and began to set up military tents, setting up a camp zone for them.

Half of them raised the tents up, while the other half set up a perimeter where they created a safe area and even cut some trees down to allow them to see better since the forest was very dense.

Yang Hong and Yan Jun on the other hand supervise the building of the Military Camp, as the supplies that were brought down by the Marines and keep the doctors, crafters, laborers, and alchemists in a safe area.

Yang Hong brought the laborers alongside him, to see the landscape of the area where they could build some wooden fences, and build a wooden fortress here as a temporary base and headquarters.

The Laborers began to build wooden fences that separated the shore from the mainland, where they were of course protected by the soldiers who guarded the perimeter, keeping an eye out for any hostile.

Everything was going smoothly on the first day, some necessary tents were raised such as the barracks, command center, separate tents for the generals and advisors, and last barracks for the special groups.

At night time, the guards who stayed up to keep the perimeter safe suddenly saw that the trees and bushes afar were moving, the wind didn't blow heavily and it was just a light breeze that aroused his suspicion.

He called for his comrades who got the guard duty for the night, around 200 men grouped up and saw the exact same thing happening, they all raised their weapons and shields when suddenly they saw a group of people running towards them from the forest.

They were shouting while holding some type of spear in their hand, there were around 20 people and their loud shout alerted the entire camp which was woken up by the shout, the night guards immediately entered their formation preparing to receive the attack.

Ling Cao and Li Feng leave their tent holding their weapon, and head toward the north side of the camp which doesn't have the wooden fences that were built by the laborers due to the lack of time.

The 20 attackers used their spears to attack the 200 guards, but some of their spears immediately broke when they hit the shields or armor of the guards, the guards retaliated and 6 of the attackers were slain.

The fight was an easy one for the guards when Ling Cao and Li Feng arrived at the location followed by Gan Ning, Jiang Win, Yang Hong, and Yan Jun the fight already ended when the guards managed to capture 3 people.

Yang Hong and Yan Jun requested for the prisoner to be brought before them, they wanted to see what they were dealing with while Ling Cao, Li Feng, Gan Ning, and Jiang Qin surrounded them to keep them safe.

The guards brought the 3 prisoners to them, the 3 men were shooting and speaking a language they didn't know, it was like a bunch of words just mixed up and the shouting didn't help them understand anything.

Yang Hong: "Hello who are you, we came here in peace and you are the one who attacked us first, we only defend ourselves."

Ling Cao and Li Feng also see some soldiers scout the forest, to see if there are any traces of the tribe around and they don't find anything, the alchemists and doctors on the other hand are interested in the forest, if there was any new plant or herbs they can use.

Yan Jun when hearing this barred them from going to the forest, it was under Lie Fan's order to not let them experiment with anything or go inside unknown areas themselves, as they were the ones who cured or found a cure for some type of illness or disease that the soldiers could caught in this new environment.
