While Lu Bu is facing the antics of his daughter and planning to assassinate Dong Zhuo with Wang Yun and his companions, Lie Fan and Cao Cao are facing Yellow Turbans at Jibei, Kong Rong is having a crisis.

Since returning from Luoyang, Kong Rong has been focused on recuperating the Qing Province economy and agriculture, but with this, he neglected military matters like equipment and recruiting new soldiers.

Losing Taishi Ci to Lie Fan was also a huge blow to his military power, as now he didn't have a competent general to lead and train his army, with Yellow Turbans coming in from Yan Province he entered a crisis.

Realizing that his military force and generals couldn't handle the Yellow Turbans, he decided to ask for help from Liu Bei, who owned Pingyuan County right now. He wanted to ask Lie Fan at first but decided to save his face rather than ask the enemy.

Liu Bei answered the call, he brought Guan Yu and Zhang Fei along with 15,000 men whom he recruited with his own sweat and tears after returning from Luoyang, to assist Kong Rong in Qing Province.

Liu Bei meets with Kong Rong at the Outskirts of Beihai, where together with Kong Rong's 20,000 men they head toward Lean Commandery, which bordered Jibei so the Yellow Turbans from Yan all grouped up there.

Liu Bei: "Brother Kong Rong, I'm afraid that with the number we have now, we will be easily defeated if we don't employ some tactics, to counter the numerous numbers of the Yellow Turbans."

Kong Rong: "I agree with you, this is Wang Xiu my most trusted advisor, he can help us in composing a strategy to defeat the Yellow Turbans."

Liu Bei: "That's great! I also introduce you to my only advisor, Jian Yong. Maybe Master Wang Xiu and Jian Yong can work together, like the old saying 2 heads is better than 1."

Wang Xiu: "Lord Liu Bei, it's my honor to work with Master Jian Yong to compose a strategy that could defeat the Yellow Turbans."

Jian Yong: "It was my honor to work with you Master Wang Xiu, you have more qualifications than me as I just come from a humble background."

So under Wang Xiu's and Jian Yong's strategy, Liu Bei and Kong Rong lead their army to attack the Yellow Turbans slowly, with Guan Yu and Zhang Fei at the forefront of the attack, the Yellow Turbans are slowly pushed back.

Kong Ring's army lacked strong generals like Guan Yu and Zhang Fei, even Liu Bei was a warrior and commander in his own right. So Liu Bei's army every time has to slow down their advance, to let Kong Rong and his army catch up.

Even though they are using a slow movement tactic, to make sure that they would not be overwhelmed, Kong Rong and his army slowly show that they are a burden. Low-quality equipment and minimal training, make the Kong Rong army a paper tiger.

Sun Guan, a mediocre general compared to Taishi Ci led Kong Rong's army. He knows that Kong Ring's army capability is not that good, so he begs Kong Rong to give more money to the army but is denied.

The Yellow Turbans were now in jeopardy, they were being squeezed from two sides. Lie Fan and Cao Cao's army advanced toward them from the west, while Liu Bei and Kong Rong from the east.

They compared the two forces that advanced toward them and, agreed that Liu Bei and Kong Rong 35,000 men were much easier to face than the combined force of Lie Fana and Cao Cao numbering more than 100,000 men.

Liu Bei and Kong Rong who faced the Yellow Turbans, slowly realized that the numbers that they faced were increasing with each encounter. Liu Bei and Kong Rong under Jian Ying and Wang Xiu's suggestion decided to hole up at a town.

The Yellow Turbans began to siege the town when they realized that Liu Bei and Kong Rong occupied the frontier town that bordered Yan Province. So a large battle ensued, the Yellow Turbans numbering about 85,000 men attacked the town.

Liu Bei: "Brother Kong Rong, you should stay back at the Prefect's Castle, it's safer there. Let me and my sworn brothers and your generals lead the fight!"

Kong Rong: "No how can I face my soldiers if I don't participate in the battle, while I'm weak I was trained in swords."

Liu Bei: "All right then stay beside me Brother Kong Ring, because a siege battle can become unpredictable really quickly."

Sun Guan: "Lord Liu Bei don't worry! I will protect My Lord alongside you, you can lead your army with peace of mind."

Liu Bei: "All right then I entrust Brother Kong Rong's protection to you General Sun Guan."

Under Liu Bei's command, the siege battle is slowly on Liu Bei and Kong Rong's side. The Yellow Turbans only used swarm tactics, sending all of their soldiers to attack the town using their numbers.

Fortunately, under Guan Yu and Zhang Fei's leadership, Kong Rong's soldiers began to man up and follow orders efficiently. Kong Rong protected by Sun Guan also joins in on the fight, he kills Yellow Turbans that dared to climb up the ladders with his sword.

Kong Rong fought valiantly with Sun Guan and sometimes Liu Bei at his side, but soon exhaustion caught up to him as he is not a warrior, it was at this time Kong Rong let his guard down and was struck on his back by a Yellow Turban with his sword, a slash, and a stab.

Sun Guan seeing this immediately yelled My Lord, he instantly killed the Yellow Turbans soldier that struck Kong Rong, he shouted for medics while he brought Kong Rong to a safe place.

The news that Kong Rong was stabbed soon spread to the entire army, with his life and seat unknown Kong Rong's soldier morale was hit and became low. Liu Bei also heard the news, he ordered Guan Guan Yu and Zhang Fei to lead the defense.

Liu Bei then heads toward Long Rong and Sun Guan's location, where he sees Kong Rong being treated while losing a pretty bad amount of blood.

Liu Bei: "General Sun Guan! How is Brother Kong Rong's situation? And how could he be struck by the Yellow Turbans?!"

Sun Guan: "It's my carelessness, Lord Liu Bei, My Lord was fighting valiantly and I didn't realize that he was exhausted, letting his guard down, and managed to be struck by a Yellow Turban from the back."

Kong Rong: "Sun Guan it's not your fault, *cough* it's just I'm too overconfident, *cough* Maybe I should have followed Brother Liu Bei's suggestion *cough*."

Liu Bei: "Brother Kong Rong hang on, Your Father Master Kong Zhou will be sad if he hears the news of your death."

Kong Rong: ".*Cough* I'm an unfilial son to my father, too focused on my career that I haven't produced a single grandchild for my Father, *cough* I can feel that this is my end, Brother Liu Bei can you take care of Qing Province for me? *cough*"

Liu Bei: "What are you saying, Brother Kong Rong?! Don't worry you will be just fine, you will produce grandchildren for your Father, and will take care of Qing Province!"

Kong Rong can feel his eyes slowly becoming heavy, and feel his body slowly turning cold, he didn't expect that the wound he received would be this bad. The doctors are doing their best to help Kong Rong, but the amount of blood that Kong Rong loses is too much.

Kong Romg raises his hand toward Kiu Bei, who takes the hand with both of his hands. Kong Rong asked Liu Bei once more to take care of Qing Province in his stead, becoming the new Governor.

Liu Bei refused once again, but Kong Rong didn't care. He turned his head slowly to Sun Guan, asking for him and Wang Xiu to serve and listen to Liu Bei well, as he is the only person that could replace him in this chaos.

Sun Guan kneeled down, vowing that he would complete Kong Rong's order and wish, with tears streaming down his face. Kong Rong was satisfied, and he turned his head to ward Liu Bei once again asking him to take care of Qing Province, after saying that Kong Rong closed his eyes.
