21 CHAPTER 21: NEW GENERAL AND PROGRESSION
A few days after the Battle of new York. Thor has already taken Loki and the Tesseract back to Asgard. The team members have all gone their way and were currently on vacation. Meanwhile I was in the New York Sanctum talking with Yao.
" So you want me to join this Army of yours."
" Yes. According to you Stephen Strange is the one who will inherit your title and uphold your legacy of protecting the Earth. You on the other hand will be dead. I have already changed that future. So this time instead of Dying I want you to join my army to save the Multiverse."
" You do realize that there are entities far beyond the power of you me or even the gods combined."
" I am well aware of them. But currently they are not a threat. However if one ever becomes a threat Me and my army will be there to protect common people and defeat it. That is the purpose of my army."
" You plan on collecting all the stones and using them?"
" I don't need the stones to use them. I can replicate the energy that the stones give and produce similar results myself."
" How big is your current Army?"
" Hmm. I plan on creating 10 commanders in my army. I have already selected 3 of the commanders and the fourth one is in training. If you join you shall be the Fifth commander. I do plan on recruiting one more commander before returning to my home dimension."
" Oh! Who is it?"
" I plan on going to Asgard and taking it as a part of my Army."
" Odin might not agree with that."
" Odin will not be the one to make that decision."
" You plan to kill him?"
" Not quite. If he steps aside politely I will let him live But if he proves to be a Hindrance I will have to kill him."
" Won't that let the nine realms to be unguarded and open for attack."
" It would. But I have counter measures to prevent it."
" So you want Thor to be one of your commanders?"
" No. Thor is a good soldier but he is not mature enough to be a commander. Honestly I think Heimdall will do a much better job. But the one I want in my army is none of them."
Yao's eyes widened," You want her. Her out of all people? Are you insane. She might try to kill you in your sleep. Scratch that. She will definitely Kill you in your sleep."
" Don't worry. I an mot that easy to kill. And even if she tries She does not possess the power to kill me now."
Standing up I said, " Well I will take my leave now. Do tell me what your decision is."
" Are you going to Asgard."
" Yes but before that I have one stop to make."
Lifting my hand a blue portal manifested in front of me. Walking through it I said, "See ya." before the portal closed.
The Place I am standing on is a desolate and inhospitable planet located in a remote corner of the galaxy. The surface is characterized by rugged terrain, rocky formations, and vast desert landscapes, with little vegetation or visible signs of life. The planet appears to have a harsh climate, with extreme temperatures and frequent sandstorms.
If you Haven't guessed by now I am currently on the planet Morag. Morag is known to be the location of an ancient temple where the Power Stone, also known as the Orb, was hidden. This temple is a key location where Star-Lord embarks on a mission to steal the Orb from its resting place. The temple is partially submerged in water, and its interior is filled with traps and obstacles meant to deter intruders.
Searching for some energy signatures it didn't take me long to locate the stone. Arriving in front of the temple I Pushed open the gates and entered it. Shifting into the Kamui Dimension I bypassed all the traps Set previously and made it into the chambers where the stones energy came from.
The room where the Orb was kept in the temple on Morag was a central chamber that housed the powerful artifact. The chamber had a circular layout, with smooth, curved walls leading up to a domed ceiling. The architecture of the room was ancient and mysterious, reflecting the temple's origins. The lighting in the chamber was relatively dim, creating an atmosphere of mystery and intrigue. The subdued lighting added to the sense of reverence surrounding the Orb and the temple itself. At the center of the chamber, there was a raised platform where the Orb was placed. The platform may have been adorned with intricate carvings or symbols, emphasizing the significance of the artifact it held. Surrounding the central platform, there were energy barriers or force fields that protected the Orb from unauthorized access. These barriers emitted a faint, pulsating glow, adding to the room's otherworldly ambiance.
I stood in front of the energy barrier and contemplated for a few seconds on how to obtain the orb without injuring myself. I opened a portal just above my hands whose other side was opened just below the orb. Simply putting my hand through the portal I plucked the floating orb and pulled it back through the portal. The barrier sensing the missing orb Fired the defences of the room but I had already shifted back into the kamui dimension. Getting out of the temple I saw it getting submerged in the Ocean. Opening the orb I saw a purple crystal inside of it. Picking up the stone I could feel the immense power it gave off. Absorbing some of its energy I got my notification of success.
