Viktor and Anna

Several weeks later

Margaret and Jeremy were on their way to class when they bumped into a girl their age.

"Hey Anna, I'm sorry, I didn't see you coming but what are you doing here?" said Jeremy who helped her up.

The girl who turned out to be Annabelle, the daughter of Pearl smiled as she looked at Jeremy "it's okay, and I am just here to look around, I didn't think I would bump into you" she said.

"Umm, Hello? Is anyone going to tell me who's who?" Said Margaret who appeared to become a ghost to these two.

"Oh sorry, Marg, this Anna, Anna, this is Margaret, my cousin" said Jeremy as he introduced the two girls to each other.

Margaret stretched her hands for a handshake to which Anna reciprocated, something she will regret later on.

As soon as their hands met, Anna felt her skins burning to which she immediately let go of Margaret's hands.

Margaret's on the other hand smiled as she looked at Anna as if she was a prey while muttering 'you are dead' to her and walked away.

"Hey, what's wrong? Are you hurt? Did she do something to you?" Jeremy asked concerned for her as he knew how mischievous Margaret can be sometimes.

"No, it's nothing. I will get going now, see you later?" Said Margaret.

"Yeah, I will be at the Mystic grill, you can meet me there" Jeremy said as he saw Anna walk away hurriedly.

He also wanted to go look for Margaret to confront her but it seems that won't be possible anytime soon as he has a class now which he would not want to miss.

After School, Margaret evaded Jeremy who was looking for her everywhere and she did not want to be seen by him right now because he is going to ask about Anna and she is not ready for that yet.

She saw Elena, Henrik and the rest of the Creed members and was on her way to meet them but someone got to her first and covered her mouth to prevent her from screaming as they vamp - speed her to the back of the school making sure nobody was there.

"You know who I was and yet you had the guts to mess around with me, you are truly fearless" said Anna who was the one that dragged Margaret here.

After getting a hold of herself after she was vamp - speed here out of her own violation, she raised her head to look at her kidnapper and smiled "you are the one who is truly fearless, I wonder what will happen to you if you harm a single hair on my head" said Margaret as she knew who was having her back.

Anna was surprised to see that even in the face of danger, Margaret was still her usual self and was still able to threaten her which should not be so given the situation she is in "what or who is giving you the courage to threaten a vampire who can kill you anytime she feels like" said Anna while revealing her true face.

"Me"

Before Anna could turn to look at the person behind her, she has been slammed to the wall.

"You do know that, you could have been killed by her and nobody will know and your sister will be grieving once again for your loss" said the man who helped her.

Margaret stood up and walked to Anna who was still pinned to the wall by the man "I saw in the hall when we bumped into her and from the way she was acting and my girly instinct kicked in, I knew she was lying and just wanted to get close to Jeremy which I know to be impossible unless she wants something from him and no human girl would need anything from Jeremy to go that far, so I decided to test the new items Henrik brought over on her and it worked, she turned out to be a vampire and seeing you watch us, I had nothing to fear, Mr. Viktor" said Margaret who wanted to punch Anna in the face but Viktor stopped her.

"You can go now, I would like to have a moment alone with our vampire here, Anna, right?" Said Viktor.

Margaret wasn't pleased but who was she to go against an original "but can I just punch her even if once, I have to get back at her for dragging me here and making me wanna puke" she said as she balled her fist.

But Viktor shook his head to which she frown and looked at Anna and muttered 'next time'. With that she left and went to join the others and build her relationship with Malachai who is slowly becoming less annoyed by her presence.

After Margaret left, Viktor freed Anna who immediately wanted to escape but Viktor stopped her from even trying.

"I'm Viktor Mikaelson if you are wondering and I would like to ask you some questions if you don't mind?" Said Viktor after Anna reside to her fate after many attempts to escape.

Anna looked at him wearily "what do you what to know?" She said.

Viktor smiled as Anna was willing to answer him "my first question, why are you trying to get close to Jeremy?" He asked.

"Because he is cute and he is kind of my type" replied Anna.

"That I don't doubt but I know you are up to something and Jeremy is your key to getting it, and that brings us to my second question, what is it that you are looking for?"

Viktor asked again and this time Anna was speechless and did not know what to say.

"Cat got your tongue? Don't worry I want kill you or anything instead I might help you in getting what you want. So why don't you be a darling and tell me what I need to know" said Viktor once again.

Anna didn't fully trust him even when she heard what he said. She has been living all by herself all this years and she has picked up a few things in her long life.

"You are trying to get to the tomb vampires, are you not?"

Anna opened her eyes wide as soon as Viktor said that and even moved back a little.

"How. How. How. Did. You. How did you know about that" stammering Anna asked Viktor who only smiled at her.

"Just as I thought, they were indeed tomb vampires and someone you hold dear is there but what about the other vampire with you, what is it that he wants?" Viktor asked once again after confirming his theory.

Seeing as everything she has been trying to desperately hide has been exposed, Anna had no reason to keep quiet anymore "I don't know why Drake has been trying to get the tomb opened but I heard him talking about a woman or something closed to that. The only reason I helped him was because he was someone with the same goal as me and I needed an ally in this town" said Anna as she was on the Verge of breaking down into tears.

Viktor looked at her and sighed but didn't say anything but turned around to leave as he has already gotten what he needed.

"Wait, what about what you said about helping me? Does it still stand?" Anna quickly asked Viktor.

"Find out what this Drake person wants before I will be willing to help you"

With that Viktor left leaving Anna all to herself.
