Let's Dance

Katerina: "shit, I have made a mistake, if what you say is true, then I'm afraid that she hasn't be born yet"

BAM!!

Andre: "what did you just say?"

Katerina turned to see Andre who has shown his true face, she knew that he was going to go mad once he hears that but she didn't know that it wound reach this extent.

Katerina: "hey, I know I was wrong here and I will take full responsibility for my action, but can you just calm down a little, let's talk this out like normal people talking"

Andre: "calm down? We wasted close to fifty years searching for someone that is not even born yet and you are telling me to calm down, what do you take me for?"

Katerina readied her dagger as Andre is not in his right frame of mind.

Andre: "you know, I won't let you use that dagger on me, right?"

Katerina didn't care as she was watching his every move waiting for his attack.

Andre rushed to Katerina who also was ready for him as she blocked his attack aiming at her stomach while trying to stab him but he easily deflected it.

Andre: "I have to say, I find it annoying when fighting you, you are a very tricky vixen"

Andre said as he broke a wooden chair in the store making the witch shout.

"HEY, NOT THAT ONE, FOR FUCK SAKE, TAKE YOUR FIGHT OUTSIDE"

Andre didn't mind her as he threw a wooden stake towards Katerina who step side the attack but because of that she removed her eyes from Andre giving him the chance to vamp - speed to her and gave her a jab across the face making her crash to a wall.

Andre: "I have to say, this dagger is something else, I can't seem to even lift it up, sigh, since I can't take it, then I won't let you get close to it"

Andre said as after his successful attack, Katerina's dagger fell from her hands to the floor, but he could not even lift it up.

Katerina: "sigh, are you really going to go through with this?"

Andre: "there is no harm in doing so, I just want to release my pent up frustration and you happened to be the scapegoat, it's nothing personal, love"

Andre said as he looked at Katerina with a craze smile on his face.

"Hey, you do know that, you are in my store right, you have already done enough damage already, can you please just go away from here, I'm begging you"

Andre: "don't worry, little witch, she will compensate you for everything that is damaged and also she will be assisting you here for a very long time, as I don't intend to leave here until the girl we are looking for is born"

Andre said as a matter of fact, he did not care what deal, Katerina and the witch made, that does not concern him, as he was not part of the deal.

Katerina: "alright then, let's dance"

Katerina said as she had heard Viktor said this same phrase when he was sparing with his siblings.

Andre smiled as he rushed at her as she also followed suit.

A hour later

Andre: "hah, hah, damn it, she is like a slippery fox"

Andre said as he looked at Katerina who was staked to a wall.

"You killed her, just because of a small mistake, how heartless can you vampires be?"

Andre: "will you shut up, little witch, we are not your regular vampires that can die from just that"

It didn't take long after Andre said that, Katerina woke up and removed the stake from her chest.

Katerina: "are you satisfied now or should we continue, because I can do this all day"

Andre: "I would love to indulge you, but I don't want to antagonize our little witch here"

Andre said as he looked at the witch whose eyes were wide opened at what she just saw, a vampire surviving from a wooden stake through the heart, that was not what she knew, she has not heard of anything like that.

"What are you, who are you people, you are not normal vampires, you should have died there, how are you still alive, all this doesn't make sense"

The witch ask series of question as she held her head as if she has gone mad.

Andre: "hey, you should go talk to her, she might be going mad"

Andre said as he stood up and went out of the store, leaving Katerina alone and the witch.

Katerina sighed as Andre has left everything here for her to clean up. Katerina walked up to the little witch and held her but the witch shook off her hold on her.

Katerina: "sigh, I don't know what to say or how to explain all this, but all I can say now is we are not normal vampires, we are what you call first bloods, just take us as a higher form of vampires, okay?"

Katerina tried to comfort the witch so that she won't think she is going crazy.

"I don't care anymore, just leave, get out of my town and never come back again"

The witch said as she was tired of all the craziness, that happened today.

Katerina: "sigh, I'm afraid, that will not be possible, right now"

"But we had a deal"

Katerina: "I know, but I don't think Andre will be willing to leave as he still angry about everything, but you can help me with something"

"What is it?"

Katerina: "can you cast a divination spell and find out when she might be born"

"Sigh, alright, but this will be the last thing I will do for you as, either you leave this town or I will leave"

Katerina nodded her head as she does not care for anything except to find the girl and be done with it.

The witch readied what she needed once again and cast a divination spell to know when the girl will be born.

After a few minutes of chanting, the witch face changed as what she saw made her frown as what she was trying to avoid became her reality.

Katerina: "what happened, why are you like that?"

The witch has no choice but to Katerina her findings.

"The girl will be born next month and she is born here, in this very town"

Andre: "well, ain't that a pleasant surprise, I guess you will be accommodating us, little witch"

They turned to see Andre who just came back from god knows where, standing in front of the door with a smile on his face.
