16 Chapter thirteen

After setting course, nami was kind to the damage done to luffy hat by buggy. Nami relaxed on the ship as they sailed. It would be a day or so before they get to the next island. Nami was pretty sure that they would get their next crew and their ship. She spent her time searching in her memory's for details on Usopp island and what's happened there. After thinking for a bit she remembers the general gist of what happened and the main villain, captain kuro.

The day passed and the night soon followed it. Long before noon of the next day island wher they would meet Usopp appeared before them, they docked their ships at the shore, there was a thin ramp-like corridor through the cliffs that surrounded the island. As they got off their boats, a bunch of pirates flags suddenly popped up from the bushes as a young skinny man wearing just a pair of overalls with no shirt stood up proudly and laughed, " I am captain usopp! Me and my hundred million men control this island!"

... Pov change...

Usopp: hee hee hee hee... I have fooled the whole village again! I've Very happy... I've done another good deed nicely today! I've helped ass some excitement to this boring village! Huh?

???: "Ah! There he is!"

Usopp: "Oh oh! It's you guys!"

???: "good morning! captain usopp!"

???: 'Usopp's pirate crew is ready for action!"

Usopp: "pepper, carrot, why are only you guys? where's onion?"

Carrot: "He's probably still asleep right?"

Pepper: "yeah, I think so!"

Usopp: "how can he sleep so much?"

???: "WAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! This is bad!! AAAAAAAA!!"

Carrot: "it onion!"

Pepper: "why is he yelling?"

Onion: "This is bad! The pirates are coming!! It's true! I just saw it! The ship it has a skull flag, and has come down to the southern part of the shore!"

Usopp/carrot/pepper: "you're lying!"

Onion: "it's true! And on one of the ship's flag, there was a symbol of buggy's pirate fleet!"

Usopp: "what did you say!!"

Onion: "it's true! We dead!!"

Usopp: "okay I'm leaving!!"

All three: "Don't run away!"

Usopp:"Actually I have a disease that will kill me if I don't leave"

All three: "you're lying"

Carrot: "captain aren't you always saying you want to be a real pirates"

Pepper: "how can a pirate be afraid of other pirates?!"

Onion: "that's right! And there are only four of them!!"

Usopp: "what? Four! I thought a entire fleet was coming"

Onion: "no, it just two small boats"

Usopp: "okay! Usopp pirates, let's move! Let's fight for the village and peace! Let's go! Follow me!"

All three: " YES CAPTAIN!"

... End of flashback...

Nami gave him a deadpan look, "you're lying"

Usopp panicked, "Busted"

Nami just grinned at him, see just said " 'busted' "

Usopp freaked out again, yelling at himself. At the same time his three little minions ran away while luffy was laughed, "your funny"

Usopp glared at luffy, "Don't make fun of me! I'm Usopp the great pirate"

luffy tilted head to the side before asking is your old man "yasopp?"

Usopp scramble down from his perch and came right up to luffy "you know my dad?!"

Luffy nodded, "yup. I met when I was a kid. He's a great pirate!"

...A small tavern in the village...

Usopp: what? Looking for crewmates? So, you're looking for crewmates and a big ship?

Luffy: yup!

Usopp: "oh! Sounds like a big adventure! There's only one place where you can find your stuff you want in this village. Although it's not a very big ship. But it not very small either."

'He's probably talking about the golden marry' thought nami, " so where is the ship" knowing that kaya owns the golden marry that the straw hats later use to travel to the grand line.

Usopp: there's a mansion not far from the village that belongs to a wealthy family. The ship belongs to the mansion owner.

Nami frown hearing that even though she knew the kaya was sick she can't help but feeling sorry for her, " can I have more meat please" " and booze to please" replied both luffy and zoro not listening to what Usopp was saying.

Usopp: "are even listening to me?!"

"Don't mind them go on" said nami ignoring the other two and more on what Usopp was saying.

Usopp: "I think it happened around a year ago... the girl parents died of sickness, leading her a large inheritance, a mansion, and over ten servants... Even if you are really rich, it doesn't help you from sorrow"

Not taking anymore of the sad story, "nevermind let's forget searching for a ship in this village, we'll go and search somewhere else" said nami feeling sad for kaya.

Luffy: "okay! But we're not in a hurry anyways. I want some more meat! Let's buy some more for our supply!"

Usopp: oh yeah, you said earlier that you're looking for crewmates?

Nami: "yeah?"

Usopp: "let me be the captain, and i'll join you!"

All three: "nevermind"

Usopp: "what kind of attitude is that?!"

???: Say, klahadoll

Klahadoll: what is it, miss

???: "I... I want to see Usopp"

Pepper: "Hey onion! Did the pirates really go into the tavern"

Onion: but real pirates are savages, he might have been eaten!

Pepper: "idiot! It witches that eats people!! Carrot, you must be willing to die! This is going to be the most dangerous battle since the creation of our pirate crew!!"

All three: "Usopp pirate crew is here!!"

Nami: "what?"

Luffy: "who are guys?"

Carrot: "hey... Captain isn't here...

Onion: "it can't be that.... He been eaten up!!"

Pepper: "h-hey pirates!! What did you do to our captain usopp?! Give us back our captain!!"

Luffy: "yum yum! What a delicious meat!"

All three: huh... meat?! He... He eat the captain?!!

Zoro: "your captain"

Pepper: "wh-what?! did you do?!"

Zoro: "we just.... made him our lunch"

Nami: "although I'm full, my little boys here could certainly go for some tender.... Dessert" said nami grinning darkly while picked her teeth.

All three: "GYAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH"
