17 Ch 17. Tailed dragon

4 years later

Sora had been busy over the last 4 years. The village was finally in a semi peaceful state so he used this time to do more missions for system points. The Hokage had even let him take on multiple missions at the same time with shadow clone jutsu.

He'd also helped Minato and Naruto train. They were currently using Soras Mini world as a hyperbolic time chamber. Sora was only slowing time down so that they would have 48 hours in a day. Using this and shadow clones gave them a ridiculously huge advantage over other academy students.

Naruto was now in the top of the class. He was second place under Sora at the moment, but Sasuke was always looking for chances to catch back up. He'd become really dark after his clans massacre, but was starting to lighten up once more. No doubt due to Mikotos influence.

The graduation exam was due to take place a week from now. Naruto had decided to take the ninjutsu test as always, but he would pass with no trouble now that he knew shadow clone Jutsu.

Sora was watching them practice when a system alert caught his attention.

*WARNING - HOSTS TAILED BEAST HAS AWAKENED. TAILED BEAST IS NOW SENTIENT!!!*

Soras expression paled visibly at the notification. He'd been spending a lot of time going to his tailed beast who he had named Mushu. The dragon was the same shade of red and had mustache wiskers that reminded Sora of the character from Mulan.

At first he'd just visited Mushu to speak to his body like a person would a baby, but as his tailed beast grew he understood that making a tailed beast was more dangerous than he'd expected. At a year old the dragon had grew to the size of the Hokages office building.

His Chakra at the time was almost half that of the nine tailed foxes. Over the last 3 years Mush had reached twice the size of normal tailed beasts. If he kept growing then Sora was convinced that the dragon would see him as an ant.

'How!? He doesn't even have a real body right now!?"

*TAILED BEAST CONDENSED ITS CHAKRA INTO A PHYSICAL BODY.*

Minato and Naruto stopped their sparring session as Sora started to float into the air. They could see something was wrong from the look on his face. Minato took a step forwards. "Whats wrong Sora?"

"Sorry dad, Naruto, but somethongs come up. I need to look into it." Sora made a hand seal and kicked Naruto and Minato out of his Miniature world. He then used his powers over the laws of his world to teleport to Mushus location.

Sora appeared in a large area that appeared to once hold a giant forest. The entire area was devastated and mostly all that was left were rocks and a few scattered trees. Sora started to search for Mushu when he felt a breath of hot air blow onto his back.

Sora turned to see his tailed beast floating behind him with no use of its wings. "Hi there. You probably don't know me, but I created you. My names Sora."

"I know who you are human. Your the one who gave me such a stupid name and tried to trap me in your body!" The voice that came out of the dragons mouth shocked Sora as it was a females voice.

"I didn't know you were female at the time. Give me a minute and I'll think of a better name?"

"There is no need. I have chosen the name Ryoko. Now that that is settled you may release me from this space."

"But if I release you then you'll just be captured again in time. You obviously could hear me when I was speaking to you, so you should know the situation we're in."

"I remember everything from the first day you created me. I know every grievance you've stated in my presence, but I still seek freedom. If you will not free me, then I will tear this space apart."

"I understand that you want to be free Ryoko, but your way is really dangerous. How about we make a deal?"

"What kind of deal?"

"You accept me as your Jinchuriki and I'll look into a way of making you a world like the summon animals. You would be free to travel between that world and ours. You could even create your own summonable dragon race to rule."

"Hmmm..." Ryoko seemed to be pondering his request without showing signs of it on her face.

"If this works out then you could be the first tailed beast that lives free from their Jinchuriki. Our Chakra stores would be connected, but you wouldn't die when I do. Being a Jinchuriki would become a gift instead of a curse that everyone fears."

Ryoko floated silently for some time before giving an answer. "You sound very passionate about this idea. I will go along with your plans and give you access to my Chakra."

Sora sighed with relief before giving Ryoko a wave and disappearing from his mini world. Sora opened his eyes and fell onto his back in the living room. His whole body was damp with sweat.

He kept staring at the notification in front of him with tired eyes. *Congratulations. User has completed hidden quest - Contain the dragon. User has received 10,000,000 system points and 1 free bloodline creation.*
