Academy (Final Exam) (3)

D) We want Kenji to start learning swordsmanship and to train taijutsu. Also, ask Senji to help us with our swordsmanship.

I woke up and went straight to the academy. Since I was the first one there I sat in the back as usual. As people started to walk in Daichi sat next to me as usual. Three people caught my eye over the past year. Nagata Hyuga obliterated everyone in taijutsu but was too prideful to learn ninjutsu which was his downfall. Amai Satatobi was an expert with earth-style ninjutsu, but besides that, she couldn't do anything else. And finally, Rai Uchiha who was Daichi's cousin. He was an expert in fire-style jutsu and taijutsu, he was pretty unbeatable for anyone our age but he wasn't very smart.

As Senji entered the class he announced "As everyone knows today is the final for our first year in the academy. For the finals, there will be three testing areas. The first will be a written exam, the next will be a 1 on 1 tournament and the last would be chakra control."

The written exam was pretty simple, I mean it was like a second-grade test. The real test was the tournament. Like the last time, the first three rounds were pretty easy. In the top twenty, the first opponent I fought was Ito. Ito was known for his great mastery of water.

"3. 2. 1. FIGHT!" Senji said.

Instantly I saw that he was weaving hand signs, and water shot out of his mouth. I could barely doge and once I relaxed I saw another stream of water coming at me.

"Fuck it," I said.

I only had to weave two hand signs before using water style: Fish Spit jutsu. A jet of water shot out of my mouth. The only reason I hesitated to use this jutsu before was that I knew that Ito had way more chakra than me and right now he still probably does but I had to otherwise I would be too fatigued from dodging to be able to weave hand signs. My new plan is to start coming closer and closer to him by equaling the amount of chakra he is putting into his Jutsu. I sprinted towards him with the jutsu activated. I had less than 50% of my chakra left when I saw him weaving signs.

"Water Style: Swamp Domain," He said.

The ground from under me became soft and I started to sink through.

"Think, THINK!" I yelled in my mind. And like I was Albert Einstein I had an idea but it all depended on luck. My Jutsu Static Strings had electricity through them, some water conducts electricity and some don't. If I could get my static strings to go into this soft ground that I was sinking in it might electrocute Ito but it all relies on luck.

I started to weave two hand signs for Static Strings and stuck the strings straight into the ground. And HOLY SHIT my plot armor was amazing, Ito got electrocuted and had to undo his jutsu to stop getting electrocuted. As soon as he did like Usain Bolt I ran up to him and engaged him in taijutsu. He didn't have enough time to weave any more jutsu so he had to solely rely on taijutsu. It's not that he was bad at taijutsu he just wasn't on the same level as me and in the next 30 seconds, I won.

"Kenji Wins," Senji announced.

I looked at the scoreboard and I was currently ranked 15 and the person I fought next was Daichi! As I looked at him he was already looking at me smiling. As I walked to the battleground I said to him "I learned a couple of new jutsus,"

"3. 2. 1. FIGHT!" Senji said.

I first tried to fight him from a distance because I had the advantage in nature affinity, I used Water Style: Fish Spit Jutsu to keep him at a distance then I tried to get one of my Static Strings around him but he used his Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu and incinerated it. I then used my clone jutsu to run to the left of him and I would run to the right of him. Seeing two of me charging at him he took a huge leap back and used Fire Style: Dragons Breath. My clone instantly disappeared while I had to use my Fish Spit Jutsu again.

"Not so bad," Daichi said.

"Same to you," I replied.

I weaved the hand signs for Static Strings and while we had the conversation I go it to wrap it around his legs. I went in for the finishing blow while he couldn't move. With a smile on my face, I said "It's over!" As my hand was about to make contact he disappeared.

"It was a clone, Genjutsu," I said as I looked up I could see him above me coming down at me with a kick.

"Now it's over!" He yelled.

When he hit me on the head with his foot he hit something hard.

"A log?" He said confusingly.

"No dumbass that was substitution jutsu," I said.

I ran up to him and engaged him in taijutsu even though he was better than me in Taijutsu I had a plan. I had already weaved the hand signs and if I could just get one solid hit in I would win. We continued in taijutsu, I was slowly getting more and more fatigued.

"I'm going to end it right here," He said as he weaved hand signs. "Fire Style: Dragons Breath,"

He released a huge breath of fire I ran straight through the heat.

"Fuck!" I yelled. My fist clenched with the static string wrapped around it. With all my energy left I punched Daichi right in the chest. After that, I lost consciousness.

Over the three-month break, we want Kenji to start learning swordsmanship and training taijutsu. Also, ask Senji to help us with our swordsmanship. During the break do we want Kenji too

A) Hang out with Daichi.

B) Try to catch Murayama and hang out with her.

C) Try to make some new friends from other clans

D) Solely focus on training.
