Chapter 9- The Encounter(2)

As the mist around them grew thicker, Kakashi informs the rest of his team Zabuza was known for. And warns them to be careful as he can't perfectly use the Sharingan.

Zabuza voice could be heard pointing out lethal points, releasing killing intent to them. Causing them to be afraid, as Kakashi hand form the ram seal.

"Don't worry. I'll protect you guys even if it kills me" "I don't let my comrades die." Kakashi assured them.

Suddenly Zabuza appeared inside the Manji Formation. Having expected this Menma pushed Tazuna and Naruto away, while Kakashi pulls away Sasuke and Sakura as he stabs Zabuza's water clone. Zabuza appears behind Kakashi preparing to strike, as Naruto tried to warn Kakashi.

Zabuza slice Kakashi in half, causing Sakura to scream. Zabuza then realizes that Kakashi had copied him, as the one he cut of was a water clone.

"It's over!" Kakashi said as he stood behind Zabuza while pointing a kunai at Zabuza's neck.

"Hehehehe. It over? You don't get it. There's no way you can defeat me with your cheap imitations." Zabuza said

"But that was impressive of you" "You had your clone say those words to attract my attention, while the real you hid in the mist and watch me. Nice plan... Bu-"

"Watch out Kakashi-sensei!" Menma warned Kakashi but it was to late

As the real Zabuza had was about to hit Kakashi with his Kubikiribōchō, Kakashi dodges it as he ducked downwards. Zabuza's Kubikiribōchō struck the ground as he kicked Kakashi toward water.

Zabuza was just about to strike Tazuna, Zabuza stops noticing Kakashi had place traps surrounding Tazuna preventing him to get close.

"Heh foolish," Zabuza said then appeared near Kakashi who was trying to get out of the water.

'Suirō no Jutsu' trapping Kakashi in a sphere of water.

"We can finish did later. First I have to take care of your team."

Then created a water clone to kill Tazuna and the rest.

"Hehe, wearing forehead protector and pretending to be ninjas... But you know what? A real ninja is someone who has survived numerous brushes with death"

"Basically... Once you're good enough to be listed in my handbook... Then you can start calling yourself a real ninja... You guys should not be called ninjas" Zabuza's clone said as his clone disappeared.

As his clone suddenly appeared in front of Naruto kicking him. Causing him to lose forehead protector.

"Just a brat," Zabuza commented as Kakashi warned them to run away.

'Shunshin no Jutsu' as Menma left afterimages of himself to surround Zabuza's clone, while the real Menma caught Naruto as he flew in midair. Checking if he was okay.

"Are you okay Naruto?" Menma asked Naruto

Having been save multiple times by his brother and Naruto finally had enough. Naruto then rushed to get his forehead protector, as he blasted off again.

"What are you doing jumping in all by yourself?!! We're genins we are no match against a Jonin!!" Sakura shouted at Naruto as he slowly stands back up again.

Seeing what he had on his hand, they realize that it was his forehead protector.

"Hey. You eyebrowless freak... Put this in your handbook. The man who will one day become Hokage"

"Leaf village ninja, Uzumaki Naruto!!" as head put on his forehead protector back on, he turns to Sasuke as they plan their attack.

Seeing that his brother had changed, Menma planned to distract Zabuza's clone as his brother and Sasuke proceed with their plan.

'Raiton: Raijū Tsuiga' as lightning forms in Menma's hand and launches it as it forms into a hound charging.

"Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!!" as Naruto's clone charged along with side Menma's lightning hound. Naruto then threw something at Sasuke.

Sasuke then threw the fūma shuriken aim towards the real Zabuza. Just as Zabuza caught it Zabuza notice another fūma shuriken and realizing it was a shadow shuriken. He jumps dodging it.

The shadow shuriken then transformed into Naruto, who threw kunai aim at Zabuza head. It had graze Zabuza as he dodges it, freeing Kakashi for the water prison.

Angered Zabuza tried throw the fūma shuriken he has caught early, as it was suddenly blocked by Kakashi.

"Great 'plan' Naruto. You guys have grown up" Kakashi said to his students

"Heh, I got distracted and released the jutsu," Zabuza commented

"Wrong! You didn't release the jutsu, You were 'Forced' to release it" "I'll tell you now that I don't fall for the same jutsu twice... What will you do now?" Kakashi said to Zabuza

As they distance themselves from each other as Zabuza began forming hand seals.

'Suiton: Suiryūdan no Jutsu'

In the impact, Kakashi and Zabuza clashed at each other, As they separated, Zabuza began to notice that Kakashi was copying his every move.

'My movements... He completely-' Zubuza thought

"Read them," Kakashi said

'What?? Did he read my mind?? That Dam-' Zubuza thought

"My eye is pissing you off!! Right?"

"Heh. All you're doing is copying me"

"You can't beat me" "You can't beat me"

"Damn you!! I'll make it so you can never open that mouth again!!" Zabuza said as he continued forming hand seals

As Zabuza stared at Kakashi, for a brief moment he saw himself, thinking that it was a Genjutsu

"What?! Impossible!"Zabuza shouted as he could see Kakashi finishes forming his hand seals.

'Suiton: Daibakufu no Jutsu'.

Seeing that Zabuza was knocked back against a tree, Kakashi arrived on top of the tree Zabuza was pm.

"How? Can you predict the future? Zabuza asked

"Yeah. You're about to die" Kakashi responded

Just as Kakashi was about to kill Zabuza, needles emerge from the forest stabbing Zabuza's neck.

A masked person arrives in front of Kakashi

"Hehe. You're right. He's dead" Coming from on the branch of the tree

"Thank you very much. I have been waiting for an opportunity to kill Zabuza for a long time" said the masked person

"That mask. You're a hidden mist hunter-nin"

"Yes you are indeed correct"
