Chapter 6 - Meeting The Teams

(The Day before the assignment of teams- Aka Picture Day)

Menma was constantly laughing at his brother's antics. As Naruto was retaking multiple pictures of him with different faces, he finally decides on a picture.

As soon as they were finished they went to go find the Hokage.

Hiruzen was staring at the picture of Naruto, as the two pairs were in front of him.

"It took me forever to come up with that face" "It's pretty artistic."

"Retake it"

"EH!"

While Naruto was arguing with the 3rd Hokage, Menma was quietly laughing at the side.

Suddenly a small boy came dashing through the door

"Come fight me old man!" said the kid as he trips

"OWWW!" "Damn it! Who set up a trap?!"

"Not again!" "Are you alright!!

Menma knew who the boy was it was Konohamaru, as well as hearing a voice coming from the hall he guesses that the owner of the voice.

As Ebisu came through the door as he stared at the twin

Konohamaru proceed to blame the twins then was grab by Naruto

"I know!! You two did something!!"

"Like hell, you just tripped on your own dumbass!"

"Naruto! Let go of him! He's the grandson of the 3rd Hokage!" Ebisu shouted at Naruto

"Go ahead hit me!" Thinking that Naruto was like the rest.

"Think I give a damn, Moron!" as Naruto hit Konohamaru which shocked Ebisu

"Oww!!"

After the commotion, Menma and Naruto were going back home, while they were being followed by Konohamaru.

"Hey Naruto you handle him, am gonna head on home " "See ya" As Menma uses Body Flicker Technique.

{I don't need to mention what happens next}

(The following day)

-Uzumaki Residence-

As Menma was doing his routine every morning (while adding something to Naruto's lunch), as he was cooking Naruto came out of his room and sat at the dining table. It didn't surprise Menma that Naruto had woken up so early because today was the day that they were going to be assigned to teams.

As they left their home Naruto suddenly speaks

"Hey, do you think that we will be on the same team?'

"No clue, why do you ask? Gonna miss me already?" Menma jokingly said

"No! Asshole!" Naruto said angrily.

"Hahahaha" "I was joking I know you're gonna miss me"

"Shut up!" " Seriously"

"Hahahaha" "Well I know some who are going to be on the same team"

"Like who?'

"Like Shikamaru, Choji and Ino. And Kiba, Shino and Hinata"

"Then how about us?"

"No clue, Maybe we one of us or the both of us will be teamed up with Sasuke and Sakura"

"Eh!!!" "But why??"

"Just a feeling, I might be wrong"

Naruto grumpily mumbled a few words while Menma softly laughs at his brother as they continue their walk to school.

-Ninja Academy-

As Menma was sitting at his usual spot then stares at the distance. He heard a commotion coming from in front of the room, as he looked he could see that Naruto was at again with Sasuke.

As he leans on his desk, he was then approached by Ino and Hinata.

"Aren't you gonna stop them?" asked Ino.

"Why should I?" "It just about to get good" Menma replied

Confused by Menma's reply they went but to try and stop Naruto and Sasuke, but suddenly somebody accidentally pushed Naruto, and then it happened.

"NARUTO!!!!!!!!" all the fangirls that Sasuke had angrily shouted as they began to charge at Naruto.

Wailing could be heard as Naruto call for his brother to save him, but Menma turns a deaf ear to his brother pleas.

'Thank god it not me' Menma thought and laugh at his brother's misfortune.

As Iruka walks into the classroom, he could see a badly beaten Naruto being stared at by a lot of angry girls. As he announces the team, just as he was about to finish

Naruto suddenly asked seeing that everyone in class already been assigned to their teams except his brother.

"Eh? What about Menma?"

This question was heard by all and then they thought it was odd that there was no left for him to teamed up to.

"Menma situations is bit complex, I was only told that after this he has to visit the Hokage" "Alright, oh in the afternoon we'll be introducing your Jonin"

As Menma was about to go to the Hokage's office, he saw his brother was planning something. Knowing what would happen, he laughs one last time before left.

-Hokage's Office-

"You call for me Hokage-sama?" Menma call as he knocked on the door

"Ah Menma, Yes come in"

"Now about your situation, I will be assigning you to a pre-existing team from last year with their new Jonin"

"May ask when can I meet them?"

"Right now" "Come in"

Yamato came in with 2 girls only a year older than Menma, Menma was surprised by his two new teammates as he only recognizes one of them. As he didn't know who the other one is.

"You must be Menma, nice to finally meet you," said Yamato

As they finished their introduction, Yamato ordered them to meet tomorrow morning to test their capabilities at the training grounds. After that the disperse, seeing that it still early he decided to watch his brother's antics.

-Somewhere near the Academy-

As he got back he found Naruto trying to sneak up on Sasuke. Successfully doing so Naruto then proceeds to use Henge no Jutsu to disguise himself as Sasuke to meet Sakura.

As Naruto left Menma followed suit to watch.

While watch Naruto pretending to be Sasuke while talking to Sakura when suddenly Naruto's stomach started acting up. Seeing this Menma thought it was time to free Sasuke, as he left at the same time Naruto was rushing towards the bathrooms.

Pretending to be suspired he approached Sasuke who was nearly out of his restraints, as he helps Sasuke.

"Where is he?"

"Who?"

"Naruto!"

"Don't know haven't seen him"

Hearing this Sasuke thanked Menma then left to find Naruto.

Seeing that his work was done, he walked back home laughing.
