7 Second week and the Mysterious Store.
[Kaito POV]
Weekend passed and I learned some concepts of smithery thanks to my photographic memory. Monday and Tuesday of kinder were cancelled because of a fight against a villain in the surroundings.
Since I had 2 days to spare, I trained my body and went to the library with my mother to learn some more.
I had to mix some advanced books with child's books, otherwise my already suspicious existence would become even more suspicious, yes, I don't have neither a cellphone or computer because mom doesn't want me to become an addict (TBH I would definitely stick myself to the computer to search for more things but alas it is what it is).
[Wednesday-Third person POV]
It was morning when Kaito arrived at the kinder, everything was the same. Kids laughing, drawing and being an annoyance, Midoriya playing with Bakugo and he's gang and of course Kaito was alone as always, well to be fair he did spend some time playing since he knows once he becomes 5 it will be on a roller coaster towards power with the name of training and times-kip.
Kaito was told that he's mother will take some time to pick him up due to some editorial issues. Currently he has given his mother the scripts of various Mangas from he's past life, and it was a success, Fairy Tail, DBZ, Naruto, Hunter X Hunter (this one was tricky because of the author just beginning one major arc and he had to create the script of how to finish it), Full-Metal Alchemist, Fire Force, and more (Kaito suffered from cramps in his hand for days and also to be clear he only gave l0 chapters of each).
While waiting for he's mother Kaito was asked by Midoriya if he wanted to play Kaito said that he will ask he's mother and then will meet him at the park.
When he's mother came, he asked her if he could play with Midoriya in the park, of course Kaia being the overprotective mother she is was skeptical but then again thought about how nice was of Kaito to have friends to play with, so she was conflicted.
After thinking it for a while she agreed but Kaito had to be home before 5, it was 12:00PM so Kaito was ok with that. When Kaito arrived at the park he saw the same group, Bakugo at front, followed by 2 extras Kaito never bothered to remember and at the back was Midoriya.
While playing Bakugo gloated about how great he is and Midoriya like a neutral senator to an ancient Roman emperor was licking he's feet (Animaniacs reference), it was sad but Midoriya is still a child and with me here he hasn't been exposed to the cruel reality of those quirkless.
After playing it was 2:10PM so Kaito called it a day and bid he's good byes to the group, little did they would know that Kaito had another agenda.
[Kaito POV]
I've had this thought in my mind since I became friends with Midoriya, since I have a friend, I can say that I'm playing with them and then escape to do anything else, I know I'm being an a-hole for this but in my defense, I have 20+ years mentally I need a certain degree of independence.
Of course, it pains me to do this to my friends, yes, I consider Bakugo a friend, what can I say despite being a pain in everywhere he is unexpectedly a nice company during quiet times I haven't fixed his shitty ideals but meh Midoriya will take care of that.
The reason why I sneaked was to go to the mysterious store, it has been in my mind since Wexof's card and now it was time to buy from it.
The reason why I didn't wanted mom to be here was because she might freak out if the store is to weird.
"All right, now from here another block to…. Dammit Wexof didn't specified to which direction and here are 3 paths and also, I can't rely on the store to be obvious like the smithy, well time to get to work" I said because I tend to speak with myself sometimes (and also speak aloud unintentionally).
[1 hour later, at the entrance of the store]
[Third person POV]
Kaito spent an hour searching for the store and it's already 3:10PM meaning he only had an hour and some before being forced to go home and reach on time.
Kaito was gasping for air for a few seconds and then entered the store acting calm.
Despite looking sketchy from the outside the inside was oddly refine and organize, like the lobby of a 4-star hotel.
Kaito went to the front and rang a bell, the moment he pressed the bell a *poof* sound effect was listened, it was the owner of the store who appeared out of seemingly nowhere.
"Good afternoon, what tale brings you to my humble adobe younger man?" asked the owner.
"Adobe? Isn't this a store" asked Kaito.
"Why indeed it is, however it is also the place I call home so adobe is an accurate statement" the owner said without losing he's smirk. "So younger man, what brings you here?" the owner asked.
"I've heard rumors about this establishment, a store where you can find ANYTHING, is that correct?" answered Kaito trying to imitate the owner's tone and language.
"Well younger one if you are speaking about things such as objects, then I can guarantee that you'll find what you are looking for" said the owner.
"I'm looking for this list of materials, just so you know I'm not buying anything, I simply want to know if they are available here, after that in the future I will buy them". Kaito said while giving him a list.
"My oh my younger one these are quite the rare items, are you sure you'll be able to afford them?" said the owner but he's smirk changed a little.
"I'll assure that in the future I will buy them, the real question is: Do you have them?" Kaito raised he's eyebrow and asked in a challenging tone.
"Youngster one may I please ask your name?" asked the owner.
"I don't tend to give personal information to strangers but, I'll make an exception and give you my name, I am Kai, future top hero, remember that." Kaito gave half he's name to keep himself incognito.
The owner widened he's eyes for a second and said "well young master Kaito it would appear that I'll look forward for your future instances, now I shall present myself. This is the nameless store a place where we have ANYTHING we can get our hands on, be it animals, rare metals, information and more we have it, my name is a secret so I'll give you my alias, I am the owner of this establishment, knower of the vast secrets of this world, explorer at heart to find the rarest items and a gentleman in mind and body you can call me Hermes." Said the owner (imagine this the most overdramatic you could think).
"Ok…. Well, if you do have them that is great, I'll be frequenting this store in the future, goodbye. Said Kaito leaving in a rush after seeing that it is 4:40PM.
As Kaito left Hermes chuckled and said "well, well, well it appears that things have gotten even more interesting, it is the first time I meet such a lively fellow" said Hermes while going back the front "an interesting kid with such passion, I really hope you don't disappoint me" Hermes concluded while sitting on a throne and pressed a button.
"Yes Hermes-sama" a shadowy figure appeared out of nowhere.
"Bring everything in this list and keep it on storage I have a hunch we'll need plenty of them" Hermes said handing the figure the list.
"Yes Hermes-sama!" the shadowy figure said before disappearing.
"Those ores and plant are not objects you can find only searching but, it is high-class information not avaliable to most of the public and even lesser high-class, I am getting curious what other surprises will you show me...Kobayashi Kaito" said Hermes while drinking wine and chuckling.
