46 Goodbye Internships!

[Kaito POV]

After three days of healing, Todoroki and I went back to our internships, Midoriya was still too injured and remained in the hospital, as for Iida, he went back home with his brother for some personal training.

Right now, I'm waiting with Todoroki for Endeavor to finish a press conference about Stain. I was aware that I made an impact in the anti-hero, but I never imagined that a group was also raised in my name.

Just as there are some lunatics following Stain's message to the society, another group emerged from my answer to his statement, thanks to that, there has been an increase of riots in some parts of Shibuya but I'm not paying attention to them right now.

I mean, it's not as if I could change anything, I don't like it, but I have no other choice. While organizing my thoughts, Todoroki decided to speak to me.

"What do you think?" He asked in his monotonous tone.

"'Bout what, specifically I mean." I answered.

"About this whole situation that has happened?" Todoroki.

"I think I made myself clear while talking to the three of you back at the hospital." Kaito.

"You did, now I want the full version." Todoroki.

'So, you saw through me, huh?' I thought while smirking at Todoroki.

"Ha! My real thoughts, huh? If I had to put it in simple words would be: Too Weak."

Todoroki widens his eyes a little.

"I'm far too weak to reach the top, the battle wasn't something that complicated but, my body couldn't keep up with some of the Nomu's movements, my reflexes weren't ideal either. I mean, I would've won on the long run regardless but still, I feel that I could've handled the situation way better." I answered.

"Isn't that putting a lot of pressure in your back?" Todoroki.

"Yeah, that's a bad habit of mine, it started when I couldn't use the Sun Breathing." I answered while reminiscing.

I reminisce the past to that exact moment, my mother talking about not having to deal with everything on my own. That's one of the best moments in my life, I managed to overcome one of the worst things a person can have; doubt in itself.

"What do you mean 'you couldn't master it?'" Todoroki asked.

"Well, it is a very powerful set of techniques that I managed to do once and then I got anxious with wanting to do it again but better." I answered/lied.

"So, even a strong person like you can doubt its own strength, huh?" Todoroki.

"Well, I won't call myself 'the strongest' or anything but, since I've chosen this path in life, I might as well excel at it." I answered while clenching my fist and smiling.

"I see." Todoroki goes back into looking at the sky.

[Thirty minutes later – Third Person POV]

Endeavor has finally finished the press conference and has decided to take Todoroki back into his HQ for training, Kaito had to follow them himself since the hero was ignoring him on purpose.

'I'll pay him back one day.' Thought Kaito while following Endeavor into the training facility.

Kaito was in his usual training set of clothes, which were a thick pant and shirt with various weights in-between the fabric.

Endeavor stands before them with his usual domineering tone.

"Today the two of you will fight me." Endeavor.

"I see, Todoroki, you go left, I'll go right." Kaito.

"Yeah." Todoroki.

The two teens get in position and look at Endeavor, who just looks at them while slowly building up his heat.

'Kobayashi is taking the lead while Shoto is on the support side, I need to keep an eye on Kobayashi specifically. When Stain released that overwhelming bloodlust, I was immobile without being able to do a thing! Yet, that kid was able to stand up to him.' Endeavor remembers his moment of impotence and how Kaito surpassed him that time.

Endeavor also gets ready and a small countdown begins.

BEGIN!

Kaito rushed against Endeavor with his sword unsheathed and slashed horizontally.

Endeavor simply dodges the attack by making a small burst of flames that sends him backwards, while also dealing some damage on Kaito.

Todoroki encapsules Endeavor's feet in ice and quickly changes for a fire attack.

Endeavor melts the ice almost instantly and counters Todoroki's attack with one of his own.

Kaito prepared another attack, taking advantage that Endeavor was busy with Todoroki.

'I'll have to go all out!'

[Sun Breathing: Cross Slash!]

Kaito releases two arching flame slashes towards Endeavor, each individually making an "X" shaped slice.

Endeavor tries to blast Kaito as well but Kaito cuts through his flames, allowing him to connect a minor slash. Meanwhile, Todoroki's attack was overpowered by Endeavor's and had to create an ice wall to protect himself from the impact.

Endeavor takes a leap back and notices the cut in his chest.

'Not strong enough to be dangerous in an actual fight, but he did manage to cut through my flames. Should I increase the output a little' Thought Endeavor while analyzing Kaito's performance.

'As expected from #2, he's nerfed himself to make this an equal match, though I know that he'll be getting this somewhat seriously from now on. Better regroup with Todoroki.' Kaito.

Kaito opens Nezuko and takes out a small pellet, which he throws down and from it comes a big smokescreen.

Kaito rushed over to Todoroki and threw some more pellets.

"What's the plan?" Asked Todoroki.

"Fire and ice will be useless against him, in the long run. I'll get his attention while you prepare a powerful blow, can you do that?" Kaito.

"I can try, I've never poured everything of me into one single attack." Todoroki.

"I'll buy you some time." Kaito.

Kaito then seemingly disappeared from Todoroki's view as he entered the vast smokescreen.

Endeavor was trying to eliminate the smoke with his flames but it wasn't working.

"Surprise? The smoke bomb was made with a dispersion retardant, courtesy of yours truly." Kaito's voice was heard from the smoke.

Endeavor began to shoot fire blasts aimlessly to try and hit him.

"No use, do us a favor and just faint already." Kaito.

[Mist Breathing: Tenth Form: Foggy Day]

Kaito uses the smoke to his advantage and his footwork changes, the fast movements make it seem as if there are copies that constantly attack Endeavor from every direction at the same time.

Endeavor attacks one of the afterimages but it was just a feint and receives a cut in his leg. He tries again but receives a cut in his arm.

'Consecutive attacks with no way of guessing which one's the real one, eh? This only leaves one solution…' Endeavor.

Endeavor begins to gather as much heat as he can, Kaito realizes what he's going to do and since he won't be able to dodge it, he'll keep focusing on attacking.

One after another, many cuts were dealt to Endeavor's body until…

[Hellfire Storm!]

Endeavor releases the fire from every inch of his body and blasts everything away.

Kaito tries to cut the flames like before but he realizes that the intensity is way too much for his body to take, and his sword were beginning to melt a little.

'Dang it, I added some fire-resistant materials to the swords, yet you're trashing them so easily! If only I was using Yoriichi…' Kaito.

Kaito then took some steps back and decided to protect Todoroki from the blast.

After a few seconds, the whole area had some burnt marks all over the place and Endeavor was in the middle with the injuries that Kaito had given him.

'That wasn't a bad workout.' Thought Endeavor as he realizes that he hasn't seen Todoroki.

In that moment. A giant pillar of ice crushes Endeavor and pins him to the ground. Todoroki then rushes near him and aims his left arm, which was pre-heated, towards his head and unleashes a powerful fire blast.

Kaito sweatdrops at the scene and thinks. 'Dude, chill.'

Endeavor endures the attack and smiles at his son's growth but ultimately decides to end the training.

Endeavor grabs Todoroki's foot and slams him against a wall. The reason he was able to do that is because Todoroki's flames melted the ice that was pinning him down.

Endeavor gets up and walks towards Kaito, who is sitting on the ground while thinking.

"Good enough for you?" Endeavor.

"It'll be enough. I need to increase my proficiency on my techniques and train my body a little bit more."

'Not good enough but, not THAT bad either, I made smaller cuts on purpose cause it was training but, maybe I should've tried a little harder. Man, it's hard to go all out with weapons.' Kaito.

"How are you, Shoto!" Endeavor.

"I'm fine! Just a little tired from using my quirk." Todoroki.

"Good, you two will spar against each other for the next three hours, and Shoto…"

Endeavor takes out a book.

"Here's a small guide to control flames, learn from it and show me your progress in tomorrow's 1vs1 training." Endeavor.

"Ok." Todoroki.

"And me?" Kaito.

"Give me your sword and I'll send it for repairs." Endeavor.

"Take this." Kaito.

Kaito hands a direction to Endeavor.

"Send my sword to this address, anywhere else would just ruin it." Kaito.

"If you say so. We'll keep this pace until your internships' over, and occasionally, we'll go out for patrols, understood?" Endeavor.

"Yes/K!" Todoroki/Kaito.

Just like that, our young hero would spend the next days developing his techniques and honing his senses until the internships were over.

[In an abandoned warehouse]

A man with a microphone is standing on a platform begins a speech.

"How many times have we've been oppressed?! How many times has society taken what we've earned through our hard effort?! How many times have we've been denied by society?!"

"MANY!!!!!!" Public.

"RIGHT! But now, now a young star has been blessed, blessed with the opportunity to trample over those that try to oppress him! If he can do it, SO CAN WE!!!!"

"YEAH!!!!!!!!!!"

"The hero-in-training! The beacon of hope for people like us! The one who will turn this world upside-down! KOBAYASHI KAITO-SAMA!!!!!!!!!!!"

*THE CROWD GOES CRAZY*

"He'll show them! He'll show them what a better society is! He'll show them, what true justice is!"

"YEAH!!!!!!!!!"

"But wait! What about those groups that will try to eliminate him?!" Random guy.

"…"

"People will always have favoritism for those with "better" quirks. How can we be sure that he'll overcome all of that?!" RG.

The man smirks and looks at the random guy in the audience.

"We'll do what he says! If he can't take care of everything that's going on the darker side of society, we'll do it! we'll eliminate anything and everything that's in his way! And once he reaches the top, this world will realize its mistake and we'll recover everything that we've lost and earn everything that we deserve!!!!"

"YEAH!!!!!!"

"Let us prepare! This is not a one-day war! This is a complete revolution! Not just Japan, SOON, everyone on the world will join us for our cause, let's prepare the stage for him and let us raise his worth in society! FOR A JUST WORLD!!!!!!!"

"FOR A JUST WORLD!!!!!"

This is one of the many reunions happening around Japan. A group of people that was denied everything they've worked hard for just because of their quirks, the group of grown adults, falling into despair found hope in the form of a young hero-aspirer.

Kobayashi Kaito, a kid that was born without quirk. In a world like this one, being quirkless is like getting the short end of the stick, yet, the youngster managed to begin his pursuit for his dream whereas other failed.

"If he can do it, I can do it as well." Was their first thought, unfortunately, life kept rejecting them over and over, in the brink of despair, they managed to come with an idea.

"If he reaches the top and accomplishes his goal...this would will be...JUST"

Since then, the group made from the rejects of society was formed: "THE HEAVENLY EQUALITY ORDER.

(Anyone that says the name is cringy can look for the "Meta-Liberation Army" and see that mine aint that bad.)
