50 Final Exams Part 2

The second test of class 1-A has started and it was Tokoyami's and Tsuyu's turn.

Tokoyami and Tsuyu were surrounded by Ectoplasm's clones, Tokoyami threw Tsuyu towards the ceiling for her to stick to it and then aid Tokoyami by pulling him with her tongue.

Tokoyami and Tsuyu were doing fairly well but Ectoplasm has enhanced his quirk beforehand, producing 36 clones to overwhelm the young duo.

'It's just as Kobayashi said. My close combat is my current weakness.' Tokoyami.

(A few minutes before the 1st test started.)

"Tips against Ectoplasm?" Kaito spoke while tending to his swords.

"Yeah, you said that you've been expecting this situation to happen long before the writing tests, I wonder if you have any recommendation." Tokoyami.

Tokoyami decided to ask Kaito about possible tactics alongside Tsuyu. Tokoyami has teamed-up with Kaito before so, he has some insight about his strategical thinking.

"What do you think your main weakness is, Tokoyami?" Kaito.

"That I can't control Dark Shadow when he's in his strongest, the darkness." Tokoyami.

"EEEEEE! Wrong. Even though it is a weakness, it is not your main one." Kaito.

"Which one is it, Kaito-chan?" Tsuyu.

"Physical capabilities. Tsuyu is more akin to an All-Rounder due to her athletic complexion, you however, have low stamina and resistance to attacks. The moment Ectoplasm-sensei tires you out, Dark Shadow won't be able to keep you safe while fighting." Kaito.

"What should I do?" Tokoyami.

Kaito smiles.

"First: Be prepared for a sudden trump card. We're facing teachers after all. And second: For now, let Tsuyu be more of a support instead of an attacker and you, brute force your way through. Tsuyu can help you escape and you'll be bait for the clones. Worst case: You get sacked and Tsuyu reaches the gate." Kaito.

The duo thinks about such plan and don't see a problem with it. Tokoyami thanks Kaito and left, but Tsuyu remained to ask one final question.

"Is it really that simple?" Tsuyu.

"Never, but overthinking this would never be a good idea. Most plans for dangerous situations often end in improvisations. Even if everything goes according to plan, a variable can always appear and ruin it all." Kaito.

Tsuyu nods and is about to leave but Kaito gives her a last piece of advice.

"That's why…trust and proper communication is needed for success. Trust Tokoyami and he'll trust you. Good luck." Kaito.

Tsuyu nods and leaves. Tokoyami, at some distance, was able to listen parts of the conversation and also grasped what he should do.

(Back to the present.)

Tokoyami and Tsuyu arrived at the exit and found the real Ectoplasm blocking the exit.

Before any of the them could react, Ectoplasm created a gigantic clone of himself. While becoming unable to create more clones for doing this, the gigantic clone should be strong enough to fend Tokoyami and Tsuyu by itself.

Tokoyami went left while Tsuyu consumed something and went right, both of them evaded the attack from the giant clone.

"Tokoyami-chan!" Tsuyu.

"I know! Dark Shadow!" Tokoyami.

Tokoyami's DS began to destroy the lights of the place, one after another the whole place was getting darker and darker by the second.

Ectoplasm, figuring out their plan, ordered the clone to stop DS from destroying more lights before it's too late.

The clone did as it was ordered and began to attack Tokoyami while Tsuyu rushed towards the exit. Tsuyu was about to leave until Ectoplasm kicked her back.

The clone managed to grab Tokoyami and merged him into its body to prevent him from moving. At this point, the younger heroes were doomed......…or so it appeared.

Tsuyu and DS made a last rush towards the exit but once again Ectoplasm blocked their path. He kicked DS away and grabbed Tsuyu by the arms and subdued her.

Tsuyu looked at the floor while Tokoyami closed his eyes.

"It seems I win." Ectoplasm.

Tsuyu made some weird noises and Ectoplasm was about to turn her over until…

"DARK SHADOW!" Tokoyami.

Tokoyami called DS, making Ectoplasm draw his attention to him. When he looked back, DS was nowhere to be seen and Tokoyami was smiling.

*CLIC*

Ectoplasm felt something around his left leg and saw one of the handcuffs strapped unto his foot. He let go Tsuyu and wondered how he got cuffed.

The answer is quite simple: Tsuyu had previously consumed the handcuffs before they separated to avoid the giant clone's attack. Once Tsuyu was caught, she puked them out and tied Ectoplasm with them, they only needed enough time to prevent Ectoplasm from finding out and them from being eliminated.

This is a little plan they both cooked up in case escaping was not possible. Once Ectoplasm's guard was lowered, Tokoyami just had to draw his attention to himself using a bluff, and Ectoplasm fell right into it.

"Good job!!" Ectoplasm.

[Team Asui and Tokoyami have passed!]

"That was wonderfully clever. You deserve to be commended." Ectoplasm.

"I am honored." Tokoyami.

"Ribbit, ribbit." Tsuyu.

After them, it was Iida's and Ojiro's turn.

Power-Loader was constantly making sinkholes on the stage, making it hard for them to move around at their will. Iida devised a plan to run as fast as possible towards the exit.

The plan worked for the most part until they both got closer to the exit. Power-Loader made a gigantic sinkhole to prevent Iida from passing. However, Iida thought of a countermeasure should he fall.

He ordered Ojiro to strap his tail at Iida's leg and then Iida shoot him into the exit. In other words, it was a goal.

[Team Iida and Ojiro have passed!]

The next combat was between Aizawa VS Momo and Todoroki.

The battle began with some step-backs due to Momo not having confidence in explaining her plan, something that Kaito decided to bother her with later, but fortunately for her Todoroki is a good teammate that does listen to his peers.

After several feints and exhaustion from both sides, Momo managed to capture Aizawa with a special alloy scarf, ending their exam with a victory.

[Team Yaoyorozu and Todoroki have passed!]

The fifth match was the exam with Team Uraraka and Aoyama against Thirteen.

The exam began quite odd, Thirteen used her quirk and immediately put both of the youngsters in a deadlock.

Grabbing the steel pipes as if their lives were depending on that, the youngsters didn't know what to do.

For some reason, Uraraka stop grabbing the pipe and cover her face, causing her to fly right unto Thirteen's grasp. She apparently awakens UI since she pinned Thirteen in a matter of seconds.

Thirteen tried to force her to step back with her quirk but Aoyama flies off with his laser and immobilizes her other hand. Uraraka cuffs Thirteen and the exam was over.

[Team Uraraka and Aoyama have passed!]

At this point, Midoriya, Kaito and Tsuyu are in the waiting room.

"Nice judgment, Uraraka! I can't believe she thought to use her opponent's power to get in close!" Midoriya.

"Ribbit...To me, it looked like Ochaco just happened to let go, though..." Tsuyu.

"Really?" Midoriya.

"Yes. I wonder what she was talking about with Aoyama right before she let go?" Tsuyu.

"Who knows? We can't hear what they're saying over here." Midoriya.

Midoriya looks at Kaito.

"Kaito, were you able to figure out what they said to each other? Since you can read lips." Midoriya.

"Yes, I know what they were talking about but, it is quite personal so, I'm gonna feign ignorance about it." Kaito.

"Is it that bad?" Midoriya.

"August 27th, Midoriya and I were having a sleepover but suddenly the sheets felt weird for some reason..." Kaito.

"STOP! STOP! STOP!!!! I GET IT BUT DON'T CONTINUE!!!!!" Midoriya stopped Kaito panicked.

"Ribbit?" Tsuyu.

Just then, Iida and Momo arrived from the recovery room.

"Uraraka passed, huh? I'd expect no less." Iida.

"Congrats to you and Yaoyorozu, too!" Midoriya.

"Ribbit!" Tsuyu.

"Nice fight!" Kaito.

"Thanks, everyone." Iida.

"I wonder which team will take the practical exam next?" Tsuyu.

"The sixth match is Team Ashido and Kaminari. They will be up against Principal Nezu." Momo.

"The principal, huh? I wonder how he'll fight...We must watch carefully." Midoriya.

"—Yeah/Ribbit." Everyone else but Kaito.

"They're so losing this round." Kaito.

Kaminari and Mina directly went for the escape approach and began to flee but, a lot of metal scraps began to rain between them.

"WHAT'S HAPPENING, KAMINARI?!" Mina.

"HOW SHOULD I KNOW, BUT THE PRINCIPAL IS BEHIND THIS, I'M SURE OF THAT!" Kaminari.

The principal Nezu is currently using a crane while drinking some tea and eating cheese.

"The principal's riding in the crane?!" Iida.

"But how is he attacking them...? He's so far away from them." Tsuyu.

"It's probably with his predictions." Momo.

"Predictions?" Tsuyu.

"The principal is one of the smartest beings in Japan, he must've seen the drafts of the area they're in. Using meticulous actions, he's capable of creating chain reactions that end up like that." Kaito.

"...I wanted to explain that." Momo pouts in silence.

Nezu sadistically laughs as the students, except Kaito, look at him in terror.

"Humans did a bunch of experiments on Nezu in the past, so in times like this, he can't help but let out his true self." Recovery Girl.

"He's one step ahead of everything they can think of." Midoriya.

"And they can't attack if they don't know where the principal is." Tsuyu.

"His plan is so completely perfect..." Momo.

"Not really, if Kaminari could control his electricity more precisely, he could make the entire area short circuit. However, said technique requires a level of concentration and even some basic understanding of how electric cables work." Kaito.

"You talk as if you control electricity." Iida.

"Remind me to show you, my Godspeed." Kaito.

The principal was so salty that he even made a clear path towards the exit. Those who were on the monitor room could see that the path was destroyed in such a way, that it shows some words.

"No Brain, No Gain. YAY!" is what was written on the path.

[Team Ashido and Kaminari retires due to running out of time.]

Everyone is sad about their classmates, except Kaito who is laughing his ass off.

"Kaito, that's not nice." Midoriya.

"I'm just laughing 'cause Mina owes this to me and Kaminari's denial about the test was bothering me." Kaito.

Everyone sweatdrops.

A few seconds later, Uraraka entered the monitor room and found out about Mina's defeat.

"What? Mina's team lost?" Uraraka.

"Yes. The principal's strategy was too perfect." Momo.

"Really? That's too bad!" Uraraka.

"Uraraka, congratulations on passing!" Iida.

"Thanks! You too, Iida!" Uraraka.

"Ochaco, when you were fighting against Thirteen, what were you talking to Aoyama about?" Tsuyu.

"Hm? We were talking about..." Uraraka gets red.

"...n-nothing! That's not how it is!" Uraraka,

"What's the matter, Uraraka?" Iida.

"Th-That's not it! It's not!" Uraraka.

"Your face is red. Are you sick?" Kaito.

"It's not! It's not!" Uraraka.

'Something happened, huh, Ochaco?' Tsuyu.

And Midoriya was completely oblivious to the situation.

The next stage was Jiro and Sero VS Present-Mic.

'Now, how will this turn out. Koda aint here to scare the crap outta Present Mic, will they succeed, or fail?' Kaito thought.

The exam started almost the same as canon. Present-Mic's attacks were already pressuring the duo from the get-go, that's when Sero had an idea.

He captured something with his tape as a ball and gave it to Jiro, he then used some more tape to create a makeshift slingshot and planned to shoot Jiro from it.

Jiro was skeptical but went with the plan. Jiro was wearing Sero's helmet so that she could see and she was sent flying towards the professor, or more specifically, the exit door.

Present-Mic yelled soundwaves loud and strong enough to somewhat break Jiro's speed, but without damaging her ears too much.

Jiro falls to the ground and dashes towards Present-Mic. The teacher can't use his voice or he'll make Jiro permanently deaf so, he went with close combat.

The teacher caught Jiro's punch and was about to counterattack but, a bunch of small insects appeared from Jiro's palm.

Jiro had the tape ball that Sero gave her, Sero asked Kaito for advice beforehand and Kaito talked about Present-Mic's insect phobia so, Sero seized the opportunity and captured a bunch of them.

Jiro broke the tape a little beforehand and when the fists clashed, it broke completely. Present-Mic was so terrified that he immediately blacked out. Jiro took out the cuffs and put it on him.

[Team Jiro and Sero have passed!]

"That was creative." Kaito.

"So, even you can get surprised." Momo.

"I was expecting Sero to use his tape to completely block their hearing. Guess overcomplicated plans works as well." Kaito.

The next team was Shoji and Hagakure VS Snipe.

Snipe, like most shooter battle royale players, was camping near the exit to prevent them from passing.

Too bad he was facing the fricking Invisible Girl that caught him off-guard and put the cuffs on him after he set up a smokescreen.

Touching something "bouncy" in the process.

[Team Shoji and Hagakure have passed!]

"Welp, better find the purple Smurf and get this over with." Kaito.

"Good luck." Midoriya.

"Same." Kaito left.

"I wonder how he will fend off against Midnight-sensei." Uraraka.

"He must have a plan already." Momo.

"I can't wait to see what our rep is planning.

[Team Kobayashi and Mineta. Ready, go!]

Kaito and Mineta are on the other side of the rocky area and are walking towards the exit. The teachers told Kaito that the use of Nezuko was restricted and that he could only take 2 swords with him. He was also ordered to take his mask off.

Kaito didn't cared either way and did as he was told, he's currently using Mitsuri and Obanai.

'You guys weren't able to be a pair in life. Allow me to honor you like this.' Kaito thought.

"Hey, hey, Kobayashi!" Mineta.

"What?" Kaito.

"Do you have any type of clothe melting substance?" Mineta.

"I do have some but it's inside Nezuko and she's been confiscated by the teachers." Kaito.

"Dammit! Why did you bring two swords anyway?" Mineta.

"Priorities pervert. Sensei is here." Kaito spoke and unsheathed Obanai.

Obanai is a Twisted Nichirin Katana, a heavily modified Nichirin katana similar in appearance to an Indonesian Kris Sword, with the sword's shape modeled into waves resembling a slithering snake, which is cyan in color. The katana's handguard has a gold circular shape engraved with two snakes connected by several plant-like patterns.

Kaito grabs Mineta and both of them evade the sleeping fragrance form Midnight.

"Eh…and here I thought that you wouldn't sense me." Midnight came from behind a rock.

"Mineta, run towards the entrance and I'll fight sensei off." Kaito.

"OK!" Mineta rushes towards the exit.

Midnight simply smiles and tears her suit a little. She also poses and calls out for Mineta.

Our pervert hero looks at the erotic teacher and stops his rush. But Midnight's intentions were more than just seducing the purple fiend, she also expanded the range of her scent and managed to put Mineta to sleep.

Kaito however, was fine in Midnights' mist.

"H-how? My quirk should be twice as effective against males." Midnight.

"Of course, it would be useless against me. Your scent is more akin to a narcotic substance, it come from every inch of your body, even hair. So, I made a serum to neutralize it and took it beforehand." Kaito.

"Didn't you read the file I gave the principal? Or was it that you didn't believe me?" Kaito.

Midnight sweatdrops and recover her composure. She takes out two red whips from her back and looks at Kaito.

"I guess I'll have to take this somewhat seriously." Midnight.

"Somewhat? No, no, no, you go all out or you'll lose." Kaito.

[In the monitor room]

"We didn't arrive late, did we?" Sero burst through the door with the rest of class 1-A behind him.

"Late for what?" Midoriya.

"To see Kaito's battle of course!" Mina.

"He's so manly when he battles. I really want to see his strategy." Kirishima.

"What have we missed?" Jiro.

"Mineta got seduced and fell asleep. Kaito is fine for some reason and is fighting Midnight-sensei head on, managing a superficial neck wound in the process." Momo.

"A flashy spectacle awaits us." Aoyama.

[Testing area.]

Both of them looked at each other for a few seconds and Kaito was the first to make a move.

Kaito disappeared from sight and appeared behind Midnight, aiming for a superficial slash. Midnight tried to block with her right whip but it got cut by Obanai.

Kaito landed a slight slash on Midnight's neck. The slash won't be a problem as long as Midnight doesn't move her head too much.

Midnight sends her left whip towards Kaito but he throws Obanai upwards and unsheathes Mitsuri.

Mitsuri is a pinkish katana that's flexible enough to act as a whip, its handguard has a flower pattern.

Everyone, including both teachers and students, were shocked by the katana's weird shape.

Kaito begins to do some testing with Mitsuri, he cuts the floor around him with such grace while remaining harmless by his own actions.

"Alright, time to do some field test." Kaito.

With those words, Kaito went towards Midnight and delivered another attack.

[Love Breathing: Fourth Form: Confession]

Kaito surrounds Midnight with his whip-like sword and cuts her.

The small cuts surround Midnight over and over again, causing damage. Midnight took her right whip and attacked the floor.

The floor shattered but the slashes kept cutting through the debris uninterrupted. Midnight decided to go for her trump card.

Kaito saw that Midnight was planning something but he didn't care, he wanted to see more surprises. Kaito was about to put the cuffs but Midnight emitted an even thicker scent from her mouth point blank at Kaito's face.

Kaito felt the weird scent and fall back a little. He felt his body getting a bit stiff even.

"Surprised?" Midnight.

Midnight then whipped Kaito's face. Kaito falls back and recovers himself, still feeling quite stiff.

Kaito understands that the teachers have taken their weakness into consideration and improved their quirks. Kaito was happy.

'With this, you may live a few more seconds against Gigantomachia. Midnight didn't possess this ability in the original version, this is great.' Kaito.

Yes, the reason as to why he did something so stupid as to send the teachers their own weakness and shortcomings was to help them improve so that they can survive the war.

'This should be enough.' Kaito.

Kaito got up and looked at Midnight. It seemed that the drawback was her getting out of saliva.

"Good improvement. But I have to finish this now." Kaito.

Kaito could feel the numbness all over his body but it didn't matter, he was going to win no matter what.

[Love Breathing: Ninth Form: Romance Dawn]

Kaito took a stance and walked towards Midnight while smiling. This is a technique that involves the user making their body as loose and fluid as possible, allowing the practitioner to use their arms like a whip, the extra mobility allows the slashes to be faster, more unpredictable and overall deadlier.

Kaito's whole body was numb so, relaxing it wouldn't be a problem. Kaito kept walking but Midnight swung her whips to stop him. Kaito evaded whip after whip with unorthodox movements.

His back bends in an unnatural angle, he dislocated his wrists and did the same, his whole body was moving simultaneously without causing damage to him.

Kaito got in range of Midnight and delivered a barrage of slashes against her. When she tried to fall back, he pulled her over with either his feet of hands.

Midnight was about to use her compressed scent attack again but Kaito had already cuffed her.

Kaito just kept smiling and spoke.

"That's good, keep getting stronger…so…you…can…live...…" Kaito finally fell asleep.

[Team Kobayashi and Mineta have passed!]

Everyone was shocked at the movements that Kaito made but Midnight felt confused about the last words Kaito spoke.

It is time for the final exam of class 1-A, Midoriya and Bakugo VS ALL-MIGHT!
