51 Final exams, Final Part.

As Kaito and Mineta had passed the exams, the others were a little more focused on the last exam, Midoriya and Bakugo vs All-Might.

Midoriya was a little tense as he remembers what Kaito told him about Bakugo beforehand.

(Flashback)

"How to do a good team up with Bakugo?" Kaito.

"Yes, I've seen how you've given other teams help, could you give me a tip?" Midoriya.

"Impossible." Kaito.

*SHOCK* Midoriya.

"I meant doing a good team up in the first place, that's what's impossible." Kaito.

Midoriya calms down.

"The thing with Bakugo is, that even though he knows he's the best, he refuses to put people above him. Sure, pro heroes are ok since they're pros, but us, students, he'll never acknowledge that our abilities surpass he's, no matter how much prove against it is."

"Knowing him, he'll try to beat All-Might from the get-go, my only question is: are you prepared to do that?" Kaito.

Midoriya's face gets a bit pale.

"Look, I get it, he's a very important person to you, but you have to keep in mind that this is a test to measure everything, the teachers know that you can use your quirk without getting hurt, but how effective is it in actual combat?" Kaito.

"My only recommendation is to keep Bakugo's pace and fight All-Might for the first three quarters of the test then, you can be like "Oh, I tried" and skedaddle from the site while Bakugo keeps helplessly fighting. That's my plan, take it or leave it." Kaito.

Kaito left Midoriya while he thinks.

'Guess this is the only choice, aww man…' Midoriya.

(Flashback end)

'I guess I really don't have a choice.' Midoriya.

[Team Midoriya and Bakugo, practical exam. Ready, go!]

'At this point, talking out things are useless, in that case…' Midoriya.

"Kacchan, do you have any plans to battle All-Might?" Midoriya.

Bakugo was taken aback for a second, he was sure that Midoriya was going to say that they should focus on escaping. He recovered his composure and answered.

"Don't get in my way, we'll keep pushing until he's tired and then I'll beat him!" Bakugo.

*SIGH* Midoriya.

[In the monitor room]

"I'm worried about these two the most." Recovery girl.

"I can see why, not only are they facing All-Might, their teamwork is basically nonexistent." Momo.

"To put things worse, I'm sure that Bakugo won't try the fleeing option." Uraraka.

[Back with Midoriya and Bakugo.]

All-Might began the battle with an air blast made by his punch.

"Incoming!" Midoriya.

Midoriya activated OFA and countered with his own shockwave while Bakugo couldn't react on time and got swept by it. Midoriya struggled for a few seconds before being blown away as well.

The powerful blast left a path of destruction throughout then street and the buildings nearby.

"Who cares about the city damage?!" All-Might.

Midoriya and Bakugo saw him walking through the dust clouds.

'This…' Bakugo.

'Intense intimidation…' Midoriya.

All-Might steps strongly and creates another shockwave, in a smaller scale than the last one.

"If you think of this as an exam, you'll regret it. I'm a villain, you're the heroes. Come at me with all your might!" All-Might.

"Kacchan!" Midoriya.

"Don't tell me what to do!" Bakugo.

[Stun Grenade!] Bakugo.

Bakugo focuses his explosion in his palm and makes a blinding light, somewhat blinding All-Might.

"Go all out?! Even if you say that, I wasn't planning on---" Bakugo was about to finish but All-Might stops him with his hand.

Midoriya sees this and delivers a kick to All-Might's arm. All-Might somewhat loosens his grip and Bakugo blasts his way out of his reach.

"Oh? I wasn't expecting both of you to be this coordinated." All-Might.

'We're not, I'm just Kacchan's backup.' Midoriya.

Bakugo went once more for an attack but All-Might grabs his arm and slams him against the floor.

"Frontal attacks are useless if they lack the speed to land and the insight to predict should they fail." All-Might.

Midoriya flicks his fingers and blasts an air cannon towards All-Might.

'Just for a second!'

[One for All: Overdrive. Delaware Smash!]

Midoriya's whole body was shining green as he shoots a powerful air blast. All-Might looks behind him and saw the massive blast, he puts his arms in a defensive position and braces for impact.

The blast didn't cause him much damage but it did send him a considerate distance from Bakugo and Midoriya.

[Monitor room]

"Wow! What a powerful attack!" Kirishima.

"Crap! It seems that Midoriya is climbing the ranks at light speed." Kaminari.

"I wasn't expecting Midoriya to fight at all, I was expecting him to escape." Sato.

The door opens and Kaito comes from it.

"That's because he knows that Bakugo won't do anything besides that." Kaito.

"Kaito." Everyone but Mineta who's still sleeping.

"Are you ok?" Momo.

"I'm fine, never expected Midnight-sensei to have that trick up her sleeve." Kaito.

"What can you tell us about Deku-kun's exam?" Uraraka.

"Well, where do I even begin? For starters: Bakugo aint a team player, Midoriya has to adapt to what HE does, not entirely All-Might. Second: Bakugo is a proud asshat, he won't accept any plan but his and his alone, meaning that Midoriya would have to always guess what they'll do." Kaito.

"I feel sorry for him, ribbit." Tsuyu.

"Don't, heroes have to deal with many hotshots that thing that they can take on the whole world and fail miserably, in a sense, this is a test of their own making." Kaito.

"(Points at Midoriya) The kid with morale problems and low self-esteem, (Points at Bakugo) and the kid whose pride is so big that he won't accept help from anyone." Kaito.

Everyone looks at the monitor and notice how All-Might was carrying…a fence?

[Back at the site]

"That was a good attack, for that I'll give you a gift, young Midoriya." All-Might.

All-Might presses Midoriya's back against the fence and stabs it on the ground, trapping Midoriya.

"As for you…" All-Might.

He dashes at high speeds and delivers a punch at Bakugo's gut, making the youngster spill his breakfast.

"Kacchan!" Midoriya.

Bakugo is on the ground holding the urge to keep belching.

Midoriya has some childhood flashbacks (Which I'll skip since I don't care) and recovers his strength to escape his bindings, while Bakugo was also getting up.

All-Might begins to walk towards Bakugo and speaks.

"I know why you're angry. It's due to young Midoriya's progress, right?" All-Might.

Bakugo flinches.

"But even so, people withing different levels, can never progress at the same time. You're wasting your potential; you know that right? Right? You still have a long way to go, but I'm not talking about power..." All-Might.

"Shut up…All-Might…If I have to help that idiot, I'd rather lose." Bakugo.

There was a pause and All-Might prepared himself to knock out Bakugo for the count.

"I see…don't regret it." All-Might.

Just as All-Might was about to punch Bakugo, Midoriya freed himself and punched him out of the way.

"Never say that you'd rather lose! That's pathetic of you!!!" Midoriya.

Midoriya then takes Bakugo and they both escape All-Might's view through an alley.

"Man, I wasn't expecting young Midoriya doing that at all. (He looks at the weights) these are quite heavy." All-Might.

Midoriya dropped Bakugo on the ground and he sat at the opposite side.

"You'd rather lose? Don't say stuff like that. Ever since we were kids, you have always said that the strongest hero is the one that fights till the end and wins, why are you talking about giving up at a time like this?!" Midoriya.

Bakugo gets up enraged and blasts a part of the building near Midoriya.

"As I said, with that speed of his, there's no way we can escape without a fight, and even then. His raw strength is more than enough to send us flying back at the starting point." Bakugo.

"I know, which is why we'll fight him and win." Midoriya.

Bakugo is surprised by the statement and Midoriya keeps talking.

"If it was the me from a few months ago, I would definitely go for the escape option of the test. However, (Midoriya begins to remember his training with Kaito.)

(Flashback.)

"Midoriya." Kaito.

"What is it, Kaito?" Midoriya.

"What would you do if you have to fight All-Might?" Kaito.

"W-what? N-no-no! That's impossible!" Midoriya.

"EEEEEEEEEHHHHHH!!! Wrong answer! The correct answer is any type of plan." Kaito.

"But I could never defeat him, he's the #1 Hero and----" Midoriya was cut off.

"Midoriya, he may be the #1 Hero, but is he truly unbeatable, or is it that the pedestal that he occupies in your heart is so big that you can't accept that?" Kaito.

Midoriya tighten his fists.

"Yes, he's never lost a fight, that's true. But remember that as a UA teacher, there would never be an unbeatable challenge. It's how you play the cards you've been dealt what determines your victory." Kaito.

(Flashback ends)

"I won't back down, not now that I've reached so far!" Midoriya.

Bakugo was speechless, he wasn't the same "nerd" that would tremble and cower in fear.

"That dumb swordsman has been influencing you, damn nerd. I have a plan" Bakugo.

While they are talking, All-Might is jogging throughout the street, searching for his students.

'Where are they? Does this mean that they went towards the exit?' All-Might.

Just a second after his thoughts, All-Might was ambushed by Bakugo with a barrage of explosions.

'It pisses me off! Who would want to team up with you?!' Bakugo.

"DEKU!" Bakugo.

Midoriya appears behind All-Might as he prepares Bakugo's other grenade launcher a point it at him.

'Our plan is to go all out from the get-go then, we'll make enough distance to dash towards the exit.' Bakugo (Memory).

'I see!' All-Might.

"Shoot!" Bakugo.

"Sorry for this, All-Might!" Midoriya.

Midoriya takes the safety off the launcher and then prepares a Delaware Smash to fan the explosion.

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*

The explosion engulfs All-Might and pushes Midoriya back as he then flicks his finger and creates a barrage of wind that's strong enough to fan the flames but not turn them off.

"Ouch! Kacchan should've told me about the brutal recoil." Midoriya.

"Move now, idiot!" Bakugo.

Midoriya discards the launcher and begins to follow Bakugo. Meanwhile, All-Might was sitting in the site of the explosion.

"They got me…and apparently made a truce of fight and escape with quite the improvisation. (Looks his surroundings) This area was already in shambles due to my initial attack, which is why they took the chance to attack me with full power, they're really taking this as a real-life situation." All-Might.

'I see, both of them are quite smart. They're just so much at odds with each other. Envy, hatred, pursuit, admiration, denial, pride. From what I've heard, those and many more feelings are so amiss between each other, that they can no longer interact as they used to.' All-Might.

All-Might coughs some blood.

'It's not a big step, but it's a ground stone for a better future as heroes.' All-Might.

"Now then, your Sensei will give it his all as well." All-Might.

With Midoriya and Bakugo.

"We're almost there. The exit is a little too cute for the situation but as long as we can pass through there, we'll pass." Midoriya.

'He sent that shockwave all the way from here? That monstrous strength!' Bakugo.

"Don't drop you guard, All-Might can catch up in any second." Midoriya.

"I know, you damn nerd! Just focus on the goal and accomplish it!" Bakugo.

"Yeah, yeah, that's a good mindset!" All-Might appeared in between the duo.

Bakugo tried to unleash his other launcher but All-Might destroyed it effortlessly. Midoriya was about to punch him but he swatted his hand.

"Why so surprised?!" All-Might.

'So fast!' Midoriya.

"You should be aware that this much is not even half of my true speed. Now, die Heroes!" All-Might.

All-Might knees Bakugo in the head and sends him flying towards a building.

Midoriya then engaged in close combat with All-Might. Midoriya kicked him and punched him but he just stopped his attacks.

"Don't screw with me!" Bakugo.

All-Might then grabs Midoriya's hand and strikes Bakugo using Midoriya like a ragdoll.

[Monitor Room]

Everyone is tense about the whole situation except Kaito.

"Such raw power, but no technique whatsoever, so sad." Kaito.

Everyone sweatdrops.

[Back in the test]

"Wonderful, younglings! You can cooperate even if it's against your will just to fight me. But that's just a prerequisite for the test." All-Might was grabbing Midoriya's arm and was stepping of Bakugo's back.

'Overwhelming speed, power, stamina! It's so simple, yet so imposing! I have it engraved into my soul since he fought that monster, he's the one…at the top of this world! The greatest Hero!' Bakugo.

'Dammit! I didn't want to use its full capabilities here, or else Kaito will get mad at me, but I guess is now or never!' Midoriya.

(Flashback. Man, we're having a lot of those this chapter, don't we?)

A few weeks before the exams, Midoriya showed Kaito his progress with the breathing technique.

"I call it, One for All: Overdrive!" Midoriya spoke while using Overdrive.

Kaito just look at him curious.

'The regulation of the energy is no only more stable, but it also amplifies the power that the breathing techniques grant one by itself. Never expected these techniques to work so well together.' Kaito.

Kaito told Midoriya to use it as long as he can and so he did. Minutes later, Midoriya's energy began to go out of control. Midoriya was in pain so, Kaito put him down with a sedative.

"When he's doing nothing, he can use it for 15 whole minutes, when he's making any type of movement, 10 and when he's delivering the strong attacks, the time shortens starting from 10." Kaito.

"It seems that the amplification is a little too much for his body for the time being and all that energy feedback begins to build up. It makes me remember that move Bide from Pokémon, just that the damage is for oneself." Kaito.

After that, Kaito told Midoriya to never use Overdrive unless is a do or die situation.

(Back to the future, I mean present)

Midoriya's body begins to glow green and the red markings of One for All change color as well. All-Might was about to do something when he felt a punch hitting him on the face.

Midoriya sent All-Might flying and then he grabbed Bakugo to leave the area.

"Time to run, Kacchan." Midoriya.

"Wha---" Bakugo was cut off by the sudden increase of speed.

'He's become faster! But he won't cross this easily!' All-Might.

[New Hampshire Smash!]

All-Might punched the air with his arms and was shit right at Midoriya and Bakugo.

Midoriya pushed Bakugo out of the way and received an attack in his back, making him groan in pain.

"Dammit!" Bakugo spoke as he recovered his balance using explosions.

Midoriya was sent crashing against a bus.

"Don't be foolish, heroes!" All-Might.

Bakugo then took flight and focused all his energy in a powerful blast.

"All my gauntlets do is prevent me from hurting myself using my quirk! Without them…my explosions are limitless!!!!!!!!" Bakugo unleashed a powerful explosion against All-Might.

Midoriya felt pain in his back but still got up, All-Might was about to punch Bakugo but Midoriya got in between them and clashed fists with All-Might.

"We'll win this!!" Midoriya.

Both of them are sent backwards, Midoriya and Bakugo are further away from the exit and All-Might is guarding it.

"Kacchan, I have a plan. Are you willing to listen to it for the sake of victory?" Midoriya.

The spiked teenager didn't say anything but just nodded.

Midoriya calmed his breathing and measured that Overdrive was about to end.

'One more punch!' Midoriya.

Midoriya grabbed Bakugo by the shirt and threw him towards All-Might.

"Eat this!" Bakugo put his hands in blast position but.

*POOF*

There was no explosion, just Bakugo flying past All-Might.

'Damn! I'm too tired to even do a proper explosion!" Bakugo thought as he lost consciousness.

"You won't---" All-Might cut off his sentence as he felt something behind him.

It was Midoriya.

"Please evade this, All-Might!" Midoriya.

[Detroit Smash!]

Midoriya punched All-Might with all his remaining strength and pushed him towards a nearby building as he began to jog towards the exit with overdrive de-activated.

*COUGH, COUGH, COUGH* All-Might coughs blood.

"Heh, he punched me with all his strength. Youngsters are really scary when they aim to surpass someone." All-Might said as he let Midoriya grab Bakugo with his left arm and run towards the exit.

The duo passed the exit and the voice made its announcement.

[Team Midoriya and Bakugo have passed!]

[All matches for Class -A's practical exams have been completed!]
