When Xanxus died, he was prepared for the fiery pits of hell. He would say he deserved it. He was tired. He was betrayed. He betrayed, he killed, he tainted the innocent with blood.
Then she came into his life like a ray of hope. He watched her grow, struggle. He watched her eyes dim, her smile fade, and he watched her heart bleed. She was always there for him, though. He owes her his life for that, his boss, his leader, his everything.
He was not prepared to wake up again after being shot with his boss bleeding out in his arms and squalo screams cutting through the air.
Even though he is a bastard, no matter what people say, he does, in fact, have vongola blood in his veins. Not thick enough to wear the rings but thick enough to have the famed intuition. No matter how weak. He trained it hard, after all.
He hears it, he feels it, she is here. Somewhere and he will find her again. No matter what.
