69 69. Everyone found out

"No," Fitz said immediately. "You're just different now." He paused, letting what he said sink in. "You're just different now and there's nothing wrong with that."

Skye sighed in relief that at least there were some people she knew she could trust.

Coulson makes a deal with Brigadier General Glenn Talbot to give him Whitehall's former second-in-command, Sunil Bakshi, in exchange for assistance with taking down Hydra's forces. En route to the hand over, Coulson and Agent Melinda May are attacked by Hydra forces. After a fire fight, Coulson, May, and all but one Hydra operative are dead. Bakshi escapes with the operative, who is actually S.H.I.E.L.D. ally Lance Hunter: The attack was a ruse. Bakshi leads Hunter to the house of one of the top Hydra members, Octavian Bloom. Bloom and Bakshi believe that the other top members are targeting them, and send out an order to have them killed, along with Hunter. Hunter, with the help of Agent Bobbi Morse, fights his way into the house, kills Bloom, and takes Bakshi back into custody, to finally be delivered to Talbot. Now, all of Hydra's top level operatives in North America are dead.

Raina, unable to come to terms with who she is, takes Cal's advice and attempts suicide. She is prevented by S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, who try to take her in, but before anything happens, a much older Gordon appears, and teleports away with her.

At the end of the day, a model car that Agent Mack built for Coulson scans the latter's office, discovering the "toolbox" that former S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury gave to Coulson. Mack secretly reports this discovery to Morse while making food, then they join in with the rest of the team having drinks

In Faro, south Portugal, an amnesiac Sif emerges from the ocean looking for Kava. S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Phil Coulson has asked Lance Hunter to become part of the S.H.I.E.L.D. team permanently. His ex-wife, Agent Bobbi Morse, who he has been getting close to again, ponders what this will mean, as she is sharing a secret with Agent Mack, who has been asked to take on missions in the field. The two of them discuss bringing Hunter into the loop, but Mack shuts down any chance of that happening and advises Bobbi to push Hunter away, which she does.

S.H.I.E.L.D. travel to Portugal and try to work with Sif to find out what she was doing on Earth, rather than Asgard. Through social media they discover footage of Sif fighting a surprisingly strong man whose weapon removed her memories. Sif had managed to damage the technology that he was wearing, which was fuelled by nitrogen. Morse and Agent Skye track the man to the local hospital's nitrogen supply. He is using the technology to hide his blue skin – he is a Kree. In the ensuing fight, Morse is thrown across the room, while Skye loses control of her new and secret earthquake-powers, allowing the Kree to escape.

Sif remembers that Kava means "keys", which leads S.H.I.E.L.D. to the romanic City of Chaves (English: Keys), in the north of Portugal, where Daniel Whitehall found the Obelisk, or the Diviner (which gave Skye her abilities) during the dictatorial regime sympathetic to the Nazi ideology Estado Novo. There, they capture the Kree and confiscate the crate he had dug up. The Kree, named Vin-Tak, cooperates by restoring Sif's memory and explaining his mission on Earth: he had learnt that Terrigenesis, the transformation of a human with special genetic material into a Kree war-slave, had recently taken place on Earth, and had come to put down the "abomination" and destroy the Diviners remaining on the planet. Panicking, Skye once again loses control, and everyone realises that she has been changed. Vin-Tak wants to kill her, while Sif wants to take her to Asgard for the safety of the human race, but Morse stops the former, removing his memory with his device, and Coulson convinces Sif to leave Skye be.

Skye, unable to stop the shaking, uses a tranquilizer on herself, and when she wakes up, moves into the vibranium-laced cage away from the other agents, who fear her new abilities. Sif returns Vin-Tak to his homeworld of Hala and promises that the Kree will no longer be an issue for Earth, though she warns Coulson that Skye may be even more dangerous than he thinks.

Ward's POV

I had talked with Fitz and Hunter asking them for update but other than the time where they dealt with Hydra leaders of North America nothing has happened atleast I thought that's all it was until I heard the message Hunter left me.

I pick up the phone and listen to the voicemail, "I'm doing it. I'm confronting Mack. Give me a couple of hours, if you don't hear back from me by morning, call Coulson. I heard him and Bob says something about calling for backup. Not our backup. Which means they're working for someone. Oh, and call Fitz. Skye is…well, she's going through something." My blood runs cold. It means that Hunter is going to get taken out and and Skye's secret is out while I am still stuck at creating invisible walls is that all that I could do.

As much as I'm nervous and worried for Skye, I'm equally worried for Hunter. I don't think that I can wait till morning.

"I need to make a call." I tell Kara as I head into the bedroom and dial Hunter's number. It rings and rings and I give up. I call Fitz.

"Ward. Finally." He seems out of breath. He's agitated.

"Fitz, talk to me. What's going on?" I sound pissed and not worried like I really am.

Fitz sighs and the way he does it, makes me think he feels defeated. "They all found out." He finally says and I don't have a clue about what he means but it's Fitz so I try to be patient. "I'm sorry, Ward. I thought I could help her hide it and do what you ask for, But Lady Sif came and some Kree and Skye freaked out. And now everyone knows and the way they're acting…" and now he's getting angry.

"Fitz. Slow down. I know you feel guilty but you shouldn't, I already knew the reaction that others will have after they find out about it that's why I hid from the rest. Just talk to Skye and tell her that she isn't alone in this. I would have talked with her myself but I can't right now so it's up to you." I made Fitz calm down

"Skye is different now. She—she can make the room shake. Like an earthquake. She can create them. But she was scared and the way Simmons was acting—the way they were all acting." Fitz lets go of an angry growl. "She's sleeping on the bus. She doesn't want to hurt anyone. So, she locked herself in the cage. But they're all hurting her with the crap they're saying." Fitz said "I just hope you were here."

"I do too buddy, I do too"
