16 16. Getting a new name

"So there isn't any way for us to get close to him" Coulson couldn't help but ask.

"Not directly no, the only way you have a chance to even meet him is to go through Sunil Bakshi," Grant stated.

"Sunil Bakshi? Who is he?" Coulson asked.

But Grant didn't say anything after hearing that question.

"Who is Sunil Bakshi, Ward?" May asked in her threatening tone.

"I am sorry but I can't say," Grant said, "I promised to tell you everything I know about Daniel Whitehall and I did that, Sunil Bakshi is a different person and I need to apologize to Jemma and Skye as well hence I won't speak of him"

"You-" May wanted to say something but Coulson stopped her, then looked at Grant and said "You want to apologize to Skye and Jemma so you won't be telling us about Sunil Bakshi or anyone else is that right"

"Yes, That's right," Grant said nodding his head.

"What about Trip then?" asked Coulson

"Huh!" Grant exclaimed

"You and he have known each other before you had even joined this team don't you think you should apologize to him as well," Coulson said his arms folded around his chest.

"Trip and I may have worked for Garret for some time but I knew that he wasn't a Hydra sleeper cell and dedicated SHIELD agent hence I didn't talk with him much other than the time we were doing the same missions. As for apologizing to him, I did save his life quite a number of times so I think that should be enough." Grant said

"Saving someone's life only to betray them later on and hoping that they would forgive you for it will never be enough Ward" stated Coulson

"We were never close enough that I could betray him Coulson and even then I saved him by going against Garrett's order," Grant said while gritting his teeth.

"Orders! What orders?" asked Coulson

"On one of our missions, Garret had ordered me to take a shot at Trip if I get the chance but during our mission when he was in a pinch instead of taking the shot at him I saved him, it was the second time I had not followed his orders," said Grant

"Second time when was the first time then," asked Coulson

"Not important," Grant said as he closed his eyes and started to meditate to avoid talking with Coulson and May.

Coulson looked at Ward for few more seconds before signaling May, who change the Inertial Confinement Laser Barrier to opaque and Soundproof again.

Playground, Laboratory

Fitz was sitting in the lab researching and collecting as much information on brainwashing as he can to prove his theory is correct.

Coulson and May just came out of Vault D and he ordered her, "Find out about Sunil Bakshi as much as we can"

"I will ask Skye and Trip to search through our database to find out anything they can on him then to search the database of other government agencies" May stated as she walked towards the recreation room where Skye and Trip were playing on the foosball table.

Coulson on the other hand moved towards the laboratory to talk with Fitz.

"Tell me you something have Fitz," Coulson said the moment he saw that Fitz was sitting on his table doing something on his computer.

"Ah!" Fitz cried out in surprise and hurriedly changed the page that was opened on his computer to something else and turned his head to look who was standing behind him.

"Oh, it's.... just you... Director Coulson" Fitz said sighing in relief when he saw it was just Coulson.

"Yeah, it's me I thought you would recognize my voice by now," Coulson said while raising an eyebrow.

"Y-Yeah.... sorry, I-I was just too into my..... research so I didn't..... clearly hear your voice" Fitz stated.

"Well okay, then please tell me that this research of yours is useful to us," asked Coulson

"Of course, with this... I can ask Skye to-to help me" Fitz stated as he once again opened the page where all his research was stored then saved the data and sent it to his tab.

"Fitz, I told you until there is no conclusive proof that you are right, I won't be forcing Skye to go and meet Ward" Coulson stated

"No-no you don't have to... I will... talk to her my-myself" Fitz stated as he picked up his tab ready to talk to Skye.

"Wait a minute, you are saying you have enough data to convince Skye?" asked Coulson

"We-Well no amount.... of data will really co-convince her.... right now but I -I have crossed... reference many.... known psychologist's books so it's... as correct as it can be," said Fitz as he started to walk out of the laboratory after nodding his head towards Coulson.

"Wait, Fitz let's go to my office we will call Skye there and you can tell her everything you want to her there," Coulson stated as he signaled towards the office.

"Y-Yes, it's.... better to... talk with her... wh-when there... aren't many pe-people around there" Fitz nodded his head and accepted Coulson's offer.

Skye and Trip along with May we're sitting in the common room using the computers there to go through the files of SHIELD on Sunil Bakshi but being a common name they couldn't find the person they were looking for from the many different Sunil Bakshi's they had.

"How do we find who is our guy May?" Trip couldn't help but ask.

"I don't know but let's separate the ones with a military background from the rest, at least it would be a start" May suggested

"Yes, that's good" Trip stated while nodding his head.

"But what if the guy isn't someone with the military background but instead a Hacker like me or a scientist like Fitz-Simmons" Skye added

"Damn girl! You are right, so let's separate them as well" Trip stated.

The moment Skye started to separate Sunil Bakshi's based on their background, May received a call from Coulson telling her to send Skye to his office.

"Skye, Coulson is asking for you in his office"
