Chapter 6 - Domain Expansion

"Fushiguro, do you know where the library is?" Sachiko asked after they got back from dinner.

"It's late already. Are you going to read now?" Megumi asked with a frown.

"No, I'll go there tomorrow. Since Gojo sensei's going to be on a business trip tomorrow, I should try to improve my knowledge instead. There're so many things I still don't know in Jujutsu after all." Sachiko replied.

"Is that so? I'll take you to the libaray tomorrow." Megumi replied with a sigh.

"Okay. Thank you, Fushiguro" Sachiko said with a smile.

The next day, Sachiko was standing in front of the tall bookshelves in the library.

"So many books....Well, I better get started."

Sachiko mumbled as she grabbed a book. A few minutes later, she grabbed another book and after reading that book, she would grab another. Like that, she continued for hours. It was only at the evening that she realized she forgot to eat at all.

"It couldn't be helped. At least I finished about 50 books today." Sachiko said as she stretched after sitting for eight hours straight.

'Although sitting for eight hours straight to rrad is such a pain in the a**, I understood more about curses and cursed techniques. It won't be long until I can fight up to par with special grade Jujutsu sorcerers. That exclude Gojo Satoru, of course.' She thought. 'That said, I still need to practice fighting with weapons.'

Sachiko had thought about using a cursed tool as a weapon before but it wasn't her priority back then. It wasn't like a cursed tool was easy to get when she had no connection to Jujutsu sorcerers. But, she could get one now if she wanted to and she planned on fighting with one. She could fight well without weapons because her cursed energy is practically unlimited and her control over cursed energy is excellent. But, using weapons had its own advantages, too. She could even hide how she could manipulate cursed energy if she used a weapon. But, the real reason she wants to use a weapon is to look badass and cool.

"Fushiguro, do you know where I can get a cursed tool? I prefer katanas and bows." asked Sachiko after returning from the library.

"...You're serious about it?" Megumi eyed at her with suspicion.

"Uh huh." Sachiko nodded, then, frowned after a while, "Don't I look serious enough? It's so difficult to live a life these days. People don't even believe what I'm saying anymore."

Megumi could swear he even saw Sachiko fake sobbed and rubbed her eyes. Wait, are those real TEARS?!

"..."

After a while, Sachiko sighed, "I really was serious."

"...."

Awkward silence.

"You can borrow from Maki senpai first if you're goinf to try out weapons first." Megumi broke the silence with a sigh.

"Okay! But I don't know Maki senpai."

"I'll take you to her tomorrow."

"Thanks, Fushiguro."

So, in the next day, they went to Maki.

"Nakamura, this is Maki senpai I told you about." Megumi introduced Sachiko to Maki.

"Nice to meet you, Maki senpai. I'm Nakamura Sachiko. A third student in first year."

"Nice to meet you too, Nakamura." Maki said.

"Senpai, I'm actually here to borrow a cursed tool from you if it is okay." Sachiko said.

"Oh, what kind of weapon do you want?"

"Umm..I thought a bow or a katana would be nice but I think a katana might fit me better." Sachiko said after a while.

"Okay, I can borrow you for a few days."

"Thanks, Maki senpai!!"

After getting a sword, Sachiko wanted to test its power out but unfortunately, a call to rescue survivors in a juvenile detention center arrived and she didn't get a chance to train. She still brought the katana along, though.

An hour later, they stood in front of the juvenile detention center. An assistant explained that they only needed to rescue survivors as a special grade curse was too powerful for them to fight. Sachiko would have laughed if she wasn't suspicious at the situation. It's not like she had evidence but she felt it.

'Should I try using Possibility? But, I need a context for that. I can't just go around see the probability of this whole thing being fishy. I need a specific..' Sachiko thought, frowning.

"Nakamura, are you fine? You look troubled since we get here." Itadori asked.

"Yeah...I'm fine."

Sachiko replied as they walked into the building. Megumi summoned the divine dogs to alert them as soon as the curse approaches. They walked into a room and inside the room was strange and creepy.

"Isn't this supposed to be a dormitory with two floors?" Itadori said.

"Calm down, this is a duplex building." Nobura said as she tried to calm down.

Sachiko looked around and said slowly, "No, it's not. This is an innate domain of the curse. Well, at least it was not a complete version."

"Domain..." Megumi said slowly.

"Then, shouldn't we leave now?!" Itadori said as he turned to the door only to see the door disappeared.

"It's too late." Sachiko shook her head.

"What should we do?!" Nobara panicked. Itadori and Megumi weren't any better , their faces were pale.

"Hey, it's gonna be fine.Calm down." Sachiko said.

"This is a special grade curse. We can't.."

"I can." Sachiko said as she walked in a leisurely pace. "Come. We'll go and save the survivors."

Megumi frowned. Was she bluffing? or was she over-confident?

"My divine dogs can smell the entrance too. So, let's move forward."

"You're both reliable, Fushiguro, Nakamura." Itadori said with a smile.

"Really?" Megumi blushed.

"Wow, that's nice to hear someone compliment me. How should I take it?" Sachiko pretended to think hard.

They continued walking and soon, they were in another room. There was a body and it was the woman from the entrance's son. Itadori and Megumi started arguing over whether to take the corpse back or not.

"What do you think, Nakamura? We should take it with us right?" Itadori asked.

"Well...it's.." Sachiko stopped as she sensed the curse coming.

"Kugisaki, be careful of your leg! Jump really high if you can,"Sachiko yelled and warned Nobara.

Nobara was confused but did as she said. As soon as she was in the air, she saw a black hole on the floor.

"You're supposed to be a special grade, right? Why don't you show yourself so I can have a good fight with you?" Sachiko said as she pulled out the katana she borrowed from Maki.

It didn't take two seconds for the curse to appear in front of her. Sachiko used the katana to slash the curse, however, the curse managed to dodge. Sachiko clumsily tried to slash the curse again as she constantly dodged its attacks.

The reason she was clumsily attacking with a katana? It's simple. She was half-messing with the curse. The other half was well, she wasn't familiar with using a real katana fused with cursed energy. When she used to shape cursed energy into katana, it dealt more damage than this cursed tool and it was more agile to her. Moreover, she had excellent control over the cursed energy katana because it was her own cursed energy. Using a real katana was more difficult for her in this case.

Megumi fought the urge to close his eyes as Sachiko's katana skills were so terrible and it hurt his eyes to simply watch. However, he was taken aback when she wasn't getting hurt or pressured by the cursed spirit.

"Although she was inexperienced with a katana, her combat sense is amazing." He thought.

He was about to summon a Shikigami to help her but Sachiko stopped him, "Let me fight with it for a while. It's good for my training."

"What?"

"Just a few minutes!" Sachiko said as she slashed the curse again. It finally managed to slash the skin a little bit but the damage wasn't enough. However, it was enough to make the curse angrier and it attacked with a blast of cursed energy. Sachiko blocked it with the katana and cursed energy of her own.

"Clack!"

But, the sword broke due to the impact and she was knocked back by a couple steps.

"This is troublesome." Sachiko mumbled, then stared at the cursed spirit as she yelled, "I really wanted to use a katana. How could you break it?! That was Maki senpai's and now how am I gonna give her back?!!"

'You can think of that right now?' Itadori was speechless.

Sachiko finally attacked with a blast of cursed energy, blast after blast.

"What? How?" The curse said as it noticed Sachiko's aura changed.

"Isn't it obvious? You pissed me off."

Then, Sachiko used cursed energy to cut off the arms of the cursed spirit.

"That power..." Megumi, Nobara and Itadori were shocked as they saw the power in front of them. Anyone would've been shocked too if they saw the scene in front of them. How much cursed energy would be used to attack relentlessly like this? They were not on the same level, really.

The curse was suffering from blast after blast of cursed energy attacks and its arms were cut off. However, it grew new arms using cursed energy.

It continued for a few minutes, then, Sachiko finally said, "It has been a few minutes already, right? Let's finish this then. Oh, right, since it is not everyday you get to fight with a special grade curse, I will treat you well."

Sachiko then, turned to her classmates and said, "Can you all stay close to me? It'll be quite troublesome if I accidentally hurt you."

The three nodded subconsciously as they walked closer to her. When they were beside her, they stopped.

"What are you planning, you damn brat?"

The curse yelled as it sent a huge blast towards them.

Sachiko simply chanted as she made a hand gesture, "Domain Expansion."

"Myriad Possibilities."

As soon as the words were said, they were transported into a space. The space was extremely wide and they could see no end to it. It was dark but when they looked down, they saw an ocean instead of a floor.

Megumi's eyes widened at that. This is a domain. Sachiko's domain to be exact.

"This is my domain. Whatever I say is 100% possible in here. It's a special skill I can use in my domain. So, the probability of you, cursed spirit, dying by exploding is 100%" Sachiko said indifferently.

Then, the cursed spirit was blasted. It was exploded to death as Sachiko said.

After that, they were brought back into the room.

"It was a domain expansion." Megumi said.

"Yeah, it's a nice domain, right ?" Sachiko smiled.

"You...you're so strong, Nakamura." Nobara said.

"Well, thanks. I think you're strong too, Kugisaki." Sachiko replied.

"I..."

"Well, well, well, you aren't so bad." Sukuna spoke from Itadori's cheek.

Itadori slapped his own cheek.

'Right, Sukuna...With Gojo sensei going on a business trip, this timing is...' Sachiko laughed bitterly as she murmured, "Possibility of higher ups targeting Itadori to die in Juvenile detention center..." She looked at the multiple possibilities evolving around Itadori dying in this incident. 'So, it was a plan after all. How disgusting can these people be...' Sachiko thought.

"Let's go and find if there are other survivors. If they're already dead, we should at least bring their bodies." Sachiko said.

Megumi just nodded and the divine dog led them to another room. With the special grade cursed spirit dead, there was no danger anymore. Soon, they found a body and a survivor in another room. However, the survivor was on the verge of death from blood loss as his arms and legs were cut off.
