Transition and letter

AN: I don't know the about the geography of the areas in Europe so I will just be making things up I apologize if I offend anyone.

Kai POV 

After the flight, we were greeted by my grandmother, who asked me to just call her Rowena before I was allowed to explore the area around the manor. As I looked around, I noticed that there was the manor, an apothecary, a potions lab, an owlery, multiple little gardens, and a large vineyard. The last two, which were my favorites, have giant stables that contain magical creatures that live in and around the forest that surrounds Kennedy Manor and a giant underground library that contains the ghosts and portraits of all deceased family members.

Adrian POV

Ever since we moved into Kennedy Manor, Kai has practically lived inside the library, and when he wasn't in the library, he could be found with the magical creatures. During the past year, he was in the library so much that we had a room built in it that we gave him for his 10th birthday, along with allowing him access to the family grimoire. I decided to take Kai to the beach near the manor to try and get him to make new friends; however, when I entered the library, I saw him standing in front of a mirror with an abnormally long nose and mustard yellow hair, and he seemed to be in the process of freaking out.

Kai POV

Today, when I woke up, I noticed that I didn't have to focus in order to see my nose, so I decided to look into a mirror and noticed that I had an abnormally long nose and that my light brown hair was replaced by mustard yellow hair. I started to freak out before remembering that in the wizarding world, there are people who have the ability to change their appearance who are called Metamorphmagus. He started freaking out again, this time from excitement, because he had always had a crush on the only character shown to have this ability, Nymphadora Tonks. That's when I realized my father was standing behind me, shocked, and after talking with him, I agreed to go with him after changing my appearance back, and after a while, my appearance changed back to me having a sharp nose and light brown hair.

Kai POV

Today was my 11th birthday so I was ecstatic when I woke up and while exiting thenLibrary all the ghosts and portraits greeted me when I made it to the manor I headed straight for the dining room and as soon as I entered "Happy Birthday!!" was shouted from both my parents and Rowena, after everyone had begun eating an owl arrived with my Hogwarts letter and my parents began telling me about how much I would love Hogwarts and to be honest I was looking forward to it after all ever since last year mother has forbidden me from practicing magic as I caused an explosion while trying to cast an acid speed from the family grimoire however because of that ban I was able to study up to the 7th year curriculum. By now everyone had finished their breakfast, and it was time for my favorite part of my birthday presents! This year, Rowena had gotten me my own copy of the family grimoire that could only be opened by me! While my parents had gotten me a female Augury with green feathers instead of an owl! I quickly decided to name her Malenka, meaning little one in Ukrainian, as she was still as small as an owl
