Goten reappeared in mid-air, his fists clenched tightly. Blue electric arcs flickered around his body, his golden hair stood on end, and the aura around him transformed into a jet of flames. 

He had transformed into Super Saiyan II.

From Broly's energy, it was clear that Goten couldn't hope to match him with only the full power form of Super Saiyan. The gap in their strength was vast.

If Broly were to learn some fighting techniques, his power would be unimaginably formidable. More importantly, Broly's aura seemed to be expanding rapidly with each passing moment.
