Consider the Frost Demons ability to survive in space as a skill and not something biological, for plot purposes. I had to change the concept from genes to ability because it wasn't making much sense, that author just cherry picked the things he wanted from bloodline and didn't add other stuffs, like Frieza's mutant bloodline in Cell etc]
