Chapter 2 : A new beginning

In an infinite void Kyle was floating without any sense of direction but his mind was somewhat clear..... atleast he could still think

'is this afterlife? Heaven or perhaps hell?' he thought

"IT'S NEITHER YOU'RE CURRENTLY IN THE OVERMONITOR SPACE"

Suddenly a flash of bright light covered the entire space

the voice alerted Kyle it had the power to make the listener completely mesmerized looking back Kyle saw a human shaped being emitting white light, there was no other features on it but just by looking one could figure out it's identity

"A god...?" Kyle murmured unknowingly

" I AM AN EXISTENCE BEYOND THE CONCEPT OF GOD MY TRUE ESSENCE ISN'T SOME THING A MORTAL BRAIN CAN EVEN COMPREHEND I.."

"Stop"

"HUH!?"

" I said stop, I don't care if you're god or whatever just tell me why the f*ck did you bring me here" in normal times Kyle would never dare to speak disrespectfully to such an existance but the current him is unstable to think straight he was already in a sour mood and this self proclaimed god came out of nowhere and started sprouting nonsense further annoying him

There was no response from the god thinking that the existence might have been surprised by his attitude Kyle sighed

"Sigh...Look man if you're putting this show to intimidate me then sorry I'm beyond broken to even care...now if you have something to say make it short"

He tried to be as polite as possible but in his current state of mind it still came out as rude just when Kyle was wondering what to say...

"Hahahahahahahaha!"

A thunderous laughter echoed throughout the plane if his original voice was belovanent and mesmerizing his laughter feels completely different it send shivers down Kyle's spine he struggled to even stand

"Haha....I'm sorry....haha....I got carried away as expected of my selection you really are an interesting guy!"

The sudden 180° change in attitude caught Kyle off-guard from the way this god spoke it seems he delebrately acted in that way to annoy him before...

"Well you're not wrong" the god shrugged "after all not anyone can enter this plane if you were not fun i would have already obliterated your soul~"

Even though he said it playfully Kyle knew he wasn't lying

" So where was i.....yeah i called you here to give you an incredible opportunity! Are you prepared to be reincarnated into an amazing world and start your new adventure!?"

"No I'm not" kyle flatly rejected

"Yes it is then! Now since your destined world was already choosen it cannot be changed but...." the god continued without giving any heed to Kyle's rejection

"Are you not hearing!? I said I don't.."

" unfortunately you don't have a choice~ it's either you get my powers and go to that world willingly or i forcefully send you there without any benefits....maybe i should send your daughter too~ "

"You bastard!!" Kyle gowled

"Hehe relax I was just kidding but tell me honestly Kyle when you took that knife and killed them how did you feel?"

Kyle was silent for a second before staying

" it felt liberating.....as if I was alive for the first time "

"Exactly.... you're a natural predator Kyle a very rare kind no matter how much you tried to supress it with your good guy act it will eventually come out as if it's your natural instincts "

Kyle narrowed his eyes "what do you mean by that? "

" Hmm...do you think a normal office work can kill so many people on top of surviving the chase from hundreds of police? You're crazy not because of your harsh life you were mentally unstable even before that...your life simply forced you to expose your true self"

Kyle couldn't agree with god's statement but he was too lazy to argue with this 'so called god' now that he knew he had no choice but to go to different world Kyle needs to squeeze out everything he could from this annoying god... besides there is atleast one thing the god said is true

'i really am hungry for battle!'

"So which world am i going to go and what powers will you give me?" Kyle asked

"I can't tell you the world yet.....but I can assure you that life in this world will be millions or even billions of times harsher than your previous one " god said although Kyle couldn't see his face he was sure the god is grinning right now

"As for the powers it's upto you you can choose whatever powers you want from super strength to telekinesis to reality warping everything is available it only depends on wether you have the guts to choose it"

The naive Kyle in his previous life might have been happy to hear that but life had taught him a harsh lesson - there's no free food in this world

"You said 'only if I dare to take it right?' what does that mean? What are are the conditions to attain such powers?"

"Hmm....I know you have good instincts when you let loose " the god flicked his hands and a list of powers and abilities appeared infront of me like a hologram there were all kinds of powers but he couldn't recognise most of them especially their name

" Gamer's system -(1200 points)

Gold Experience Requiem - (1000 points)

All friction - (1500 points)

limitless - (200 points)

Mangekyou sharingan - (300 points)

super Saiyan - (300 points).....WHAT THE HELL ARE THESE!! "

Kyle couldn't help but shout how is he going to choose from the names he couldn't even understand! And what are those points?

the god blinked for a second for the first time since the start of the conversation he seems to be surprised

"Oh my~ i totally forgot you had a sad youth huh? You never read any frictional stories, comics or manga.....oh poor boy....how sad~"

"Stop making it seem like not reading these stupid comics or manga makes someone miserable!" Kyle was always busy with his studies and partime jobs on top of doing other people's homework! He had neither time nor money to buy comics and manga

"Nevermind consider this as a favour" the god transferred all the information about manga and comics directly in to his brain Kyle stood ther for several hours trying to process so much information before opening his eyes wide

"Wow they are indeed amazing!" He was really impressed by some of the frictional works... anyways now he knew exactly what each power does

"But you still haven't mentioned the conditions to get these powers or should I say the price i need to pay is those points right?"

"It's simple look behind you" looking back he could see a large tower with atleast 100 floors

The god continued " the tower has hundred floors each floor has traps, monsters and many more dangers that need to be taken down each floor is tougher than the previous ones the more floors you clear the more points you'll get...then you can use those points to buy any abilities/powers you want " the god looked at him and asked in a provocative tone " like i said how much power you can gain is all up to you do you DARE?~"

Kyle guled he was able to feel the terrifying and ominous feeling the tower gave but he didn't want to experience a powerless situation like his previous life ever again.....seeing him unable to save his mother, unable to give his daughter a good life and... unable to protect his own diginity

Kyle gritted his teeth and walked towards the tower while the god looked at him with an amused expression "oh i forgot to mention no matter how many times you die in this tower you'll be revived so how far you go is all upto your own will power hahaha i excited to see how far will you go~"

Soon Kyle disappeared into the tower

"You guys can come out now" the god casually said and two figures appeared on each side of him the emmited same level of pressure as the god himself

"So what do you guys think? Can we use him?" The god asked

" I'm not sure since that kid is a 'fateless one' even I can't see his future" said the golden coloured human like figure in the left

" Same here he does have innate talent for fighting but we had seen many children far more talented than him in our own verse should we go to such lengths even if that child came from the original world?" Said the old man with mustache wearing a black suite with a black hat he was holding a sphear in his lest hand and a stick on his right hand

" Oh my so both TOAA and presence are not willing to bet on this kid? How sad~"

"It's the one above all don't shorten my name bastard! Also we are in a critical situation we need to find a solution instead of wasting time here"

"I agree with TOAA this time we are omnipotent beings how can we rely on this poor child to take our duty?"

The god had an annoyed expression "And whose Fault is That!! You two morons ended up fighting over something and caused disturbance strong enough to even wake up AZATHOTH for a split second almost ruining the entire Omniverse! Even the SCP guys are constantly bricking me for an explanation! And now you two act like best buddies! Do I look like a IDIOT to you!!!"

Both TOAA and the presence acted as if they didn't hear god's rambling

"Being an omnipotent concept myself it should be impossible but you two are some how giving me f*cking Blood Pressure!!!"

"Sigh.... anyways believe in my selection we could use this brat to our advantage and stabilize the situation all we have to do is wait"

"Well if you say so we'll wait and see" both of them somewhat agreed

While waiting the god asked curiously "when you two fought I was in a different dimension and didn't know why you guys fought after returning I was busy solving the mess you guys created and negotiating with those SCP fellows ....so what caused you two omnipotent and omniscient beings to fight despite knowing the consiquences?"

Both of them hesitated but decided to say " you're right of the three of us you're the oldest and wisest so we would like to get your help to clarify this to us "

" Yes it a very important matter no one else even the beyonders or monitors should Know about this "

Both of them had a very serious expression making even the god alert 'is it about a powerful outer? Or something else entirely that could put the entire Omniverse at risk? '

The god slowly nodded carefully listening to them, and both TOAA and presence said in unison

" So between Goku and superman who would win!? "

"Pardon?" Despite his omniscience the god couldn't comprehend the situation...

"So you guys almost destroyed the Omniverse, wake up asatoth and nearly got us arrested by the SCP for that?....YOU CRAZY MOTHERFUCKERSSS!!!!!"

inside the overmonitor space one could see the most powerful being pulling his hair and screaming like a madman.....
