5 Chapter 5

I was brought upstairs by my father, and introduced to my new siblings. 'Hope mom is ok' I thought to myself as I looked at her with concern. There were six babies I could spot in the room, 3 male and 3 female. Never thought I would see kotpies species in this world. The kotpies are a cat dog hybrid species I know from my old world, but didn't know it was a possible in this world.

Having six new siblings was weird as I was an orphan in my previous world, though not related by blood I intend to care to the best of my abilities for them, hopefully they will want to be adventurers too but I am scared they might lose their life as the dungeon is no playground 'sigh what a conundrum' I thought to myself as I stared at their cute faces.

*5 days later*

Chise was discussing something with her husband while on the bed tending to the sextuplets.

"How about we get a maid, it has been real stressful taking care of all this kids these past few days" Mark said to Chise with sleepy eyes.

" No they destroy homes" Chise said with conviction.

"How about we get all our parents to help, mine will be coming to visit soon. I sent them a letter 3 days ago, they should be arriving today". Mark said as a suggestion to calm Chise down.

"I can work with that, even though you parents didn't like me at first". Chise replied with a sad tone.

"Yes I remember the day I said I was going to marry a cat person, they just believed it would've been hard to have kids, but here we are with six children and one adopted. Though I have told them much about Draco, they shouldn't dislike him as he's just too cute for that". Said.

"Sigh, if you say so Mark" said Chise as she finally put the kids to sleep.

Getting up from the bed Chise and her husband went downstairs to continue talking as they did not want to wake up the sextuplet that were finally asleep.

"Have you decided on a name for the kids Mark" Chise asked Mark in an exited tone.

"How about you name the girls and I name the boys" mark replied.

"For the Cat girl, Eleni, meaning sun ray as she has white hair and fur. For the chientrope girl, Dimitra, meaning earth mother as her hair and fur is brown. And lastly form my hybrid daughter, Vasiliki, meaning royal girl". Chise said a she nodded thoughtfully.

" Awesome as expected of my beautiful kitty" said Mark in a romantic tone.

"Hmm, I will go with Michalis, Nikolaos and Vasileios in the same order that you went" Mark replied smugly to Chise.

"Now that is done, shouldn't we get ready for the arrival of your parents? and also go wake Draco up for breakfast" Chise said to Mark as she entered the kitchen to start preparing breakfast for the day.

*5 hours later*

*Knock Knock*

Around mid moon the same day a knock could be heard, as Mark rushed to the door only to be greeted by his parent John and Anita black.

"Quit stalling and let us in you rebellious runt" John black said as he saw his son for the first time since his marriage.

"Been a while dad, mom" Mark replied as he welcomed them.

Looking at his mother, he open his arms into a tearful hug as he could now show them that he didn't make the wrong choice in marrying Chise.

After a tearful reunion, Mark brought his mother upstairs to introduce Draco and his other kids to her as his father was bringing their luggage to the guest room downstairs.

Upon entering Chise's room Anita saw six kids lying on the bed but couldn't find the kid that Mark said he adopted in his letter.

Not pondering for long she greeted Chise respectfully and inspected her grandkids.

"Where is Draco, the kid you spoke about in your letters" Anita asked in anticipation as it seemed she knew of Draco's race.

"Will go get him from his room" Mark replied as he exited Chise's room and went into Draco's room.

Upon entering the room, Mark saw Draco practicing his writing as the child had shown a bit of intellect above the normal kids his age. Though he was still childish, he sometimes have the air of being older than his age.

"Draco come to meet your grandparents. I told you before breakfast that they would be coming later today" Mark said as Draco stopped writing after noticing his presence.

"Ok Dad" Draco replied as he closed his workbook and followed his father to his room.

As soon as they entered the room the sound of crying could be heard, as the kids had woken up.

Chise was trying to calm them down along with Anita, while John stood by the side watching things unfold.

Upon noticing Draco, John pulled Mark out of the room and left the women to deal with the kids.

"Hi um grandma" Draco said as Anita turned to him.

Upon seeing his cute face and horns with his tail wagging from side to side. She rushes toward him and gives him a hug surprising Chise, as she always viewed Anita a someone stern.

"Can't believe I get to see a Dragon Kin, they are a rare race that stood at the pinnacle of the Demi human society. Surprised that any of them are still alive as they went missing a few centuries ago, at least that what I believed from the books I read from the clan library" Anita said solemnly as she was still hugging Draco.

"I always knew my little Draco was special, and a dragon to the boot" Chise said as she cuddled the babies trying to feed them.

Meanwhile In another room Mark and John was having a serious discussion.

"You should know that the son you call Draco is a dragonkin, they are the pinnacle of the Demi-human race and can take on dragon form and transform parts of their body at least that what the text says, the problem we have now is that there are three rare races here in your house, the dragonkin and your two hybrid children. Word would surely get out about them so we need to protect them until they can protect themselves. I would suggest giving them adventurers training and registering them with a familia in Orario to help protect them from slave traders. They are a very rare Demi human species". Hearing all the heavy news had damped Mark mood as they were already having a hard time with the monsters around. Then came more bad news on possible slave traders raiding them. But what could he do besides rushing the completion of the defensive wall around the village.

" I understand" Mark said to his father as he also planned to go to Chise parent's house to tell them what he learned , and maybe they could help.

" Don't be down son, I only told you this because your mother and I will be staying in this village until Draco and the hybrids join a familia in Orario. There are a lot of powerful familias there, like the Zeus and Hera familia. Heard they were hunting the black dragon or something". John said to cheer up his son.

"Why don't you go upstairs and spend some time with your grandkids, while I go to Chise's parent's house and tell them about this, they were level 3 adventurers after all". Mark said as he went toward the door heading for Rita and Marcus' house.

"Don't worry we will train him in both sword and magic, the dragon kin are strong. Thought I will have to ask a favour from some friends, we will protect our grandkids" said John with conviction as he watched Mark leave.

"Thank you dad" he heard Mark say as he left the house with a smile.
