Arriving at the front of my home, I felt relieved that whoever was watching me didn't do anything. I needed rest and more healing. But first I had to let my familia know, that I was safe. After opening the door what greeted my sight was my goddess. Lili seemed to be asleep as it was late at night.
"I am home" I said with a smile as I took off my large bag and cloak.
"Welcome back Draco" my goddess said returning a smile back. I could tell that she was worried about my safety and was just putting up a strong front. I couldn't exactly tell her of my insane adventure, but she would find out anyway after I level up.
"Did you have the adventure, you desired" she asked.
"Yes" I replied.
"That's good then, will you level up now" she said while wagging her tail. It seemed that I wasn't the only one excited to see how much I had grown.
"No, we can do that in the morning. For now I need to clean up, eat and rest" I said while pointing at my tattered cloths. My reply seemed to deflate her as she pouted for a bit and walked into the bedroom with a huff.
After cleaning up, eating and changing my cloths, I started casting 'mending waters' on my leg until it felt like normal again. Doing a series of light stretches. The results showed my body was back in tip top shape and I didn't need to use the 1 elixir I bought as a last resort.
I woke up the next morning feeling refreshed. Feeling something heavy on my chest and hands, I saw Lili resting on me along with Bahamut resting on my arm. Her tail tightly coiled around mine.
"Sigh, how do I get them off. I guess no early breakfast for them" I muttered as I could only stay there till they woke up. To kill time I started to review my battle with the mutated liger fang to see what I could have done better. If my draconic instincts or what other readers would call 'plot armour' didn't kick in, I would have been dead.
The draconic legs and full body scales were things I tried but couldn't do before. The use of wings for Aerial battle also didn't occur to me but now that I had experienced using these part of my abilities, my combat with partial transformation would be my main form of melee combat. The fact that my claws could damage a level 3 monster meant they were decently strong. The addition of full body scales, stone skin spell and increase toughness spell would skyrocket my close range combat attack, defence and durability.
Some time passed while I was reflecting on my battle, Lili stirred awake and discovered she was on top me.
Upon seeing it was Draco she hurriedly got up while blushing. It was embarrassing for her to sleep on top of Draco.
"Good morning Draco sama" said Lili as she got off his chest.
"Good morning Lili, and please I have said many times that you should just call me Draco or Onii chan" I said while smiling smugly.
"Ok, Draco Onii chan" she said while thoughtfully nodding her head. Now I felt embarrassed, because I was the one who suggested she call me Onii chan but didn't think that she would actually do it.
*Yawn*
Bahamut woke up due to the noise that Draco and Lili were making while she slept.
"Good morning Draco, Lili" said Bahamut as she yawned. This shocked both Draco and Lili, because their goddess never woke up early in the morning.
"Good morning Bahamut" Draco said.
"Good morning Bahamut sama" said Lili to which Bahamut nodded to.
Bahamut didn't fail to notice the weird looks Lili and Draco were giving her but chose to ignore it. Seeing as his body was free, Draco unfurled his tail from Bahamut's and got up from the bed.
"I will go clean up and make breakfast. After that can you update my status" Draco said to Bahamut.
*An hour later*
The familia had finished having breakfast and cleaning up. It was time for Draco to see the fruits of his effort.
Draco and Bahamut both entered the room but Draco sensed that Bahamut wanted to say something and he could guess what it was. For the next few minutes, Draco told her what happened, he excluded all the excessive gore and decreased the danger of the situation to not worry her.
Although Bahamut knew that he wasn't saying everything, the fact that he could guess her thoughs and open up made her happy. Soon Draco removed his shirt and lay on his belly. Bahamut then mounted his back and put a drop of her blood on it after pricking her finger.
*Gasp*
The sound of Bahamut gasping could be heard as she seemed shocked about what she saw.
"What wrong" Draco asked feeling a bit worried.
'Bahamut shook her head'
"Here take a look at your stats" she said giving up in resignation at how much of an oddity Draco was.

Slot 1: Rune spell grimoire: Summons a grimoire containing runic signs. When signs are cast with the grimoire as medium to skip chants. The user only has to draw the rune of an element, provide mind and have a clear image to cast spells. Note as the user levels up, higher tier rune elements will be unlocked along with better mind efficiency when casting rune spells and spell potency will increase.

Equilibrium: Gives a slight boost to lower stat till they balance out with the highest stat.
Charm resistance: Grants mental resistance to the charm debuff.

Seeing my stats made a smile appear on my face. I hadn't risked my life for nothing. These stats simply meant that I was the strongest level one and getting the same values would be almost impossible the higher my level. Having these stats as base meant that I would never lose to an opponent of the same level and maybe win against a level two in direct battle without magic and my other abilities.
My magic stats pretty much carried the rest of my stats as it was the highest SS rank stat that I had attained. This meant that I would focus on magic as my main stat to trigger my equilibrium skill. The other stats seemed harder and much troublesome to raise as magic just needed me to keep using it while the others required intense physical exertion.
Why take the hard path while the easy one was there. Now I just had to level up and chose a development ability.
"It looks ok, can I level up now" I said acting normal but my tail betrayed me and kept swaying from side to side.
"Done" said Bahamut.
"Hmm, already, I don't feel anything different?" Draco said while trying to feel any changes in his body.
*Poke*
Bahamut poked at Draco's funny bone earning a twitch from him.
"It's a level up, not some kind of awakening" said Bahamut as she chuckled at Draco's reaction.
"Now time to choose your development ability".
"Ok, I assume there are several choices" I said.
"Oh how did you know" replied Bahamut.
"You used the word Choose, indicating there might be several of them" I said
"I will list the available ones and say their effects" said Bahamut as she started stating the various development abilities.
Abnormal resistance: Negates the effect of abnormalities such as poison.
Mage: Improves power, widens effect range, and makes mind usage efficient. Creates a magic circle under the user that supports their magic.
Hunter: Improves abilities against monsters that the user has fought before and gained excelia from. It can only be obtained at Level 2 and requires the user to have killed many monsters in a short period of time, making it difficult to obtain.
Spirit Healing: Automatic mind regeneration. Begin regenerating mind at a small rate after magic use.
Mixing: Improves quality when creating items such as potions.
Fall damage resistance: increases tolerance to fall damage.
Enhanced Strike: increase damage while unarmed. Damage can be enhanced further by infusing mind.
Seeing all these development abilities had me stomped. There were so many that I needed but could only choose one, I wasn't sure if they would still be available during my next level up or something better would appear. I decided to go with the process of elimination, and filter out the abilities that didn't aid in my magic.
