Chapter 3: Boy with devilish girimoire.

Four years had passed since Asta first met Yami Sukehiro. The ten-year-old boy with striking white hair radiated an overwhelming aura of destructive energy, making him a formidable force to reckon with. His demonic eyes of destruction, which had now fully awakened, added to his intimidating presence, while making him appear even more handsome.

On this particular day, Asta found himself surrounded by a pack of fifty massive dark wolves, the rarest and most formidable of their kind. The forest on the outskirts of the Clover Kingdom had transformed into a battlefield. It was an unexpected encounter, one that even a Magic Knight Captain like Yami Sukehiro would find challenging.

Asta's determination burned fiercely. He was not one to back down from a challenge. Without the aid of a grimoire, he would rely solely on his innate physical strength and ki to face this dire situation.

Yami Sukehiro, the captain of the Black Bulls, was in the midst of a battle against a hundred giant dark wolves when he realized his grave mistake. While he focused on the ferocious front line, another fifty wolves had stealthily escaped, heading directly for a nearby village. Cursing his luck and feeling an urgency he couldn't ignore, Yami left his current skirmish behind and dashed towards the village.

As he neared the source of the disturbance, the cacophonous howling of wolves echoed in the distance. This eerie symphony of sounds was followed by a deafening explosion that shook the very earth beneath him. Yami's eyes widened as he beheld a sight that sent shivers down his spine—a mountain range obliterated, half a forest erased, and at the pinnacle of it all, a colossal crater carved by pure, unadulterated force.

Wasting no time, Yami hastened toward the epicenter of this destruction. There, amidst the wreckage of dark wolf corpses, he discovered a ten-year-old boy. This young boy emanated an aura so dangerous it left no room for doubt—Asta was no ordinary child.

Asta's demeanor was calm, despite the chaos he had just unleashed. Yami approached cautiously, his seasoned instincts telling him that this boy held tremendous potential.

"I never expected a kid like you, without a grimoire, to possess the strength to obliterate a mountain range," Yami remarked, unable to hide his astonishment.

"I was holding back in that attack. It's just that those wolves were too weak to withstand it," Asta replied casually.

Yami let out a sigh, his attention momentarily shifting to the surroundings as he surveyed the area for any remaining threats.

"Would you like to join my Magic Knight squad?" Yami asked, the offer unexpected but sincere.

Asta was taken aback for a moment but quickly responded, "Not now. After I obtain my grimoire, I'll consider it. However, I'd like to go on hunts with you from time to time."

Yami couldn't help but chuckle at the boy's response. "That went surprisingly smoothly. Alright then, meet me here tomorrow. We'll hunt down some beasts and bandits."

Asta nodded in agreement, and Yami turned to leave, stating, "I have to take care of some business now."

Watching Yami's departure, Asta carefully collected the wolf corpses and began the journey back to his home. Little did he know that the night would hold further challenges for him as he encountered a horde of monsters. It seemed his streak of bad luck continued.

Yet, despite the trials and tribulations of his life, Asta savored a moment of satisfaction that night as he devoured a delicious meal, the taste of which lingered in his memory as a true delicacy.

In the following days, Asta continued his training with Yuno and other children from the village. Their bonds grew stronger, and the camaraderie between them was palpable. Despite being taller and more handsome than ever, Yuno had shed his earlier smug attitude towards Asta.

Five years passed in a whirlwind of relentless training and battles. Yami's strength had grown exponentially, pushing the boundaries of his abilities. His ki had reached the level of DBZverse ki, his magic power now resembled destructive energy, and his physical prowess rivaled even Asta's.

Today marked a significant day—a day Asta would finally obtain his grimoire. The anticipation weighed heavily on his mind as he stood among other fifteen-year-olds at the church. The small-time antagonist, a chain magic user from the early days, was also present.

The overseer delivered an impassioned speech, and the moment of grimoire distribution arrived. As the magical books floated toward their new owners, Asta observed the reactions of his peers. Surprised gasps, stunned expressions, and fearful glances were directed his way. Some appreciated the power he radiated, while others had a newfound respect for him.

However, one thing puzzled everyone—the fact that Asta's grimoire was unlike any other. It wasn't any of the four leaves girimoire they knew, it was a girimoire with five leaves and it exuded an aura of pure devilish power. A dark, sinister cover with crimson linings adorned it, making it stand out amidst the other grimoires.

Once he had the book in his possession, Asta carefully placed it in his holder. He didn't spare a glance at those who had mocked him earlier. He turned and left the church, his destiny taking a new and unpredictable turn.

That night, the children at the church celebrated Asta's achievement, rejoicing in his newfound power. The once-impoverished church had flourished over the years due to the money Asta had earned during his hunts with Yami.

As the night settled in, Asta lay down to sleep alongside his newfound family. The church, now at its most beautiful, cradled them in its loving embrace.

Yet, Asta couldn't rest easy, for tomorrow marked a new chapter in his journey—one filled with promise and challenges. There was someone he needed to meet, and that encounter held the potential to shape his destiny in unexpected ways. The grimoire he now possessed, with its dominating black-red cover oozing an aura of pure devilish power, was a testament to his unwavering resolve and the power that awaited him on the path ahead.
